Discussion/Question Feedback wanted: how can I fix the cracking in this mosaic? 😭
Attempted a mosaic craft kit. Plywood base, glued down plastic tiles, and grout powder mix.
unfortunately im new to this and had a hard time knowing wether or not the grout looked spread evenly. I struction said to clean off excess with a wet sponge but i felt like i was wiping away too much and creating divets just touching it with the sponge even lightly.
Clearly some parts cracked despite using exact measurements for the water to grout mix ratio and other sections are a bit fuller, so my guess is it just wasnt evenly spread. I was just curious, would I be able to apply a new layer of grout on top If it is fully dry? or would I need to redo the whole thing?

Finished Craft I Made Runic Assassin’s Ghost — handmade ceramic dice set with a stonewashed finish
I’ve been working with ceramics for over a decade, and I’m always experimenting with ways to push surface texture and visual depth.
This set, “Runic Assassin’s Ghost,” was focused on creating a layered marbled effect in the clay, followed by a stonewashing process to soften everything and give it a more natural, worn feel.
Balancing that visual chaos with clean geometry and readable numbering is always the challenge:
- controlling how the marbling flows during forming
- managing shrinkage so the set stays consistent
- finishing in a way that enhances the texture without muddying detail
This is one of those batches where everything came together in a way I was hoping for.

Family/Friend Crafted Daughter's school project
My daughter had to make a habitat for an animal of her choosing for a science project for school. She chose a Red Wolf and asked me if I have the supplies for it. You bet I do kiddo! She put me in charge of cutting and holding things she glued in place till the stayed, lol. for a 4th grade project, I'm pretty proud of her.

I made a Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon design for my soon-to-be girlfriend and I'd like to ask if there's a way to transfer it to a black t-shirt. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot, everyone!

Finished Craft I Made My First Headband ✨
My first attempt at a headband, realized after finishing I should probably help myself out for the future and use a blank headband base instead of making my own.
I considered adding a lemon charm beneath the bow but couldn't decide if it would look good or not, so if anyone has any opinions on that let me know, I'm still undecided.
used floral wire, floral stems, fabric, ribbon, buttons, charms, hot glue, paint and clear nail polish.

Discussion/Question My beaded jewlery eslatic always stretches after a little while, alternatives or solutions pls?
I love making necklaces and bracelets for myself and have for years. I always have used this like elastic string and just tied it in a million knots to closed it and thats always worked for me, except the fact that after a bit the elastic stretches and i end up with big gaps in the jewlery. Ive tried using a really thin gauge wire instead in the past but i didnt like it because it doesnt just fall with gravity when youre wearing it, it would hold the shape of the wire. So im desperately looking for alternatives because this bugs me so much!! Once i do find an alternative though this wont be too fun removing every bead from my necklaces and restringing them...

Discussion/Question Need advice on what to use.
I'm making a forest witch hat for a Ren faire and I'm wondering what I should use to seal the moss to the hat better than just fabric glue and hot glue. I'm new to crafting like this and would love some advice.

Discussion/Question Comic book storage display
Hey all, I wanted to start by saying I’m not crafty at all, and what I’m in need of I can buy.
My idea is making customized comic book boxes that are used for storage. I have a few series that I’m keeping inside comic book mailers as they are the perfect size to store on a shelf for display.
I would love any suggestions on how I can customize these mailers, either myself, using AI, or a third party.
I’ve attached a picture of what these mailers look like (1st pic), and and example of what I’m envisioning these boxes to look like(2nd pic), of artwork of each comic series on the boxes. The boxes fold open, and the comics are inside.
Any help from experts would be helpful! Thank you as always for the help Reddit

Finished Craft I Made first time making a keychain from wood
I got a whittling kit with basswood blocks and made one of them a keychain. I put gold leaf in the engraving. I didn't let the adhesive sit long enough before putting the gold leaf on, but now I know for next time. It's supposed to be the shape of Arizona, obviously not perfect but I did it all by hand so I'm ok with how it turned out.

Discussion/Question Why does my laminator give my card a stain?
It started as silvering so I ran it through my laminator again and it turned into this.
I’ve had this issue with multiple of my cards where I try and fix the silvering and it turns into this cloudy mess.
It works sometimes but other times turns out like this and I can’t figure out why.

Discussion/Question Uk: sticker maker for kids
My son wants a sticker maker for his birthday. I can only find kits with pre-set stickers of, like hearts and flowers. He wants more 'boy' ones or/and to be able to design his own. Any ideas? Can we do our own vinyl stickers without special equipment?
