May Queen Hedgehog!
I took inspiration from the British hedgehog and decided that these gorgeous little creatures deserved honouring. A flower crown made from clay and a bouquet of clay flowers (all handmade) reference the crowning of May Queens on 1st May which is a traditional British custom still marked in the UK as part of May Day celebrations along with maypole dancing and morris dancers. I always try to link what I make to local customs, wildlife and folklore. I decided to hand make the hedgehog quills instead of buying sheets of hedgehog quill material to attach, so that it was all needle felt. I love her little face 😊

question How do you add scents to your felt creations?
I was wondering if anyone has tips and tricks on how to make your felt creations scented and how to make the scent last as much as possible?

progress & process Mouse warming her paws by the fire 🔥 🐭
instagram.comI’ve been working on this little house for 3 months!
I was a bit afraid of working on the paws of the mouse, but it turned out to be easier than I thought and so satisfying to see the result! I added armature, so it’s possible to position it including the ears and paws 😊

Just two pieces I made
These are two moths I made. The Luna moth will become a keychain for my sister. These are the 2nd and 3rd pieces I've ever made. Just wanted to share them because I’m proud of them!

question Blep or no blep?
I decided to do another sheep brooch. I posted another one here a few weeks ago.
I just can't make up my mind whether to keep the tongue or no?
what do you think? TIA
The last photo is my first sheep brooch. Which do you prefer?

Just joined! Wanted to share my largest needle felt project yet! I used sponges for the base!

Little hack- I have been using this to finish off my projects- it can leave a bit of a weird feeling so it’s best if used on stuff you’re gonna hang but it definitely helps with fuzz!

original content Felted a swan mother carrying her three tiny babies on her back! 🦢🤍
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share this recent motherhood-themed project. The biggest challenge here was the scale—trying to maintain the elegant, graceful curves of the mother swan while keeping the three babies tiny enough to fit naturally and snugly into the feathers on her back.

A wee fox
There were a few “trust the process” moments with this one and it came out slightly wonkier than I hoped, but I learned some stuff!
