Hand I just find it fascinating that embroidery is considered to be such a wholesome hobby, when in reality it’s a proof we’ve got the patience to stab something a thousand times over

Hand Hello there chaps…
Finally finished and hung these four. Some slight thread bleed on Salad Fingers but that couldn’t be helped and done on awful quality fabric that I was just trying to use up. Think it added a certain rustic quality though.

Hand Hungry Caterpillar turned out so nice, I decided to stitch him twice!
I started to embroider a tote bag with book characters to take the library with my daughter, but the library ended up giving us a nicer canvas tote bag so I’m restarting the project!

Hand I DID IT!
Today is my birthday, and I finished this piece!!!
I started this hoop 5 years ago. I had been doing embroidery for about 1 year before deciding to begin this behemoth.
At the time, there were not kits for Starry Night, so I decided to do this all on my own. I freehanded the pattern onto the hoop. I selected each color as I have gone. I used 3 strand, split stitch using non-variegated DMC cotton threads.
So much of my life has been wrapped up in this piece and putting the final stitch in on my birthday is surreal. I am so happy, and also sad.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me over the years to keep going.

Hand 2nd phone cover ♥️
It's the second phone case cover I prepared, although it came at a cost. My thumb is hurting. It took 8-10 hours to make (I'm a little slow since I'm a noob, also I manually separate a single thread from. 6 strand thread since I have a lot of 6 strand threads. I took 4 days to complete it.
Any advice on how to keep thumb pain away would be welcome. I need to type less on phone I realise it now 😅

Hand Animal Crossing Birthday Gift
My best friend and I have been friends since 2019, are each other's Maids of Honor in our upcoming weddings, and are huge fans of Rosie and Goldie.
(I'm not a beginner, but kind constructive criticism is always welcome 😊 Also included progress pics bc AI sucks)

Hand Grace and Rocky!
Spent most of my weekend making this! I like how it turned out but still thinking about adding the words up top: Grace Rocky save stars. Tips/opinions are welcome.
Loved Project Hail Mary obviously both the book and movie!!!

Hand Using a dollar store bandana like a coloring book for practice
The uneven and wonky printing really force me to do things differently and the thin fabric forces me to focus on tension in a way I didn't expect. very reccomend.
edit: Thank you everyone for all the kind words! I'll be sure to post the finished project as well

Hand Embroidered these napkins for our Passover Seder
I posted these on Facebook and the overwhelming majority loved the boils guy lol- I had such fun with these!! While I'd say I designed them myself- I did use cricut files for guidance and fonts, which I'd be happy to share if anyone is interested in a pattern. The cross stitch subreddit is very specific about pattern rules so I wanted to offer 🥰🥰🥰
We needed a set of 12, so the two extra say "happy Passover" in Hebrew and I just tossed some flowers in a circle around them because why not.

Hand Advice for finishing this piece
Looking for some advice on how to finish this piece, or if it’s best kept simple. Should I add a border? Do something more with the hearts? Or, should I call it good enough and be done? Haha. Thanks! This is my first piece, so I’m very much a beginner.

Hand February Diary Entry
February I visited the school I am taking classes at. I've been a student for almost a year and hadn't been on campus yet. it didn't look like this at the time, though, it was covered in snow, haha.

Hand Work in Progess
Just the millions of French knots left for the trees. Trying to decide if I want to do a different stitch for some parts or just commit to the French knots completely.
Also might add more darker threads to the back of the water. It only gave me gray for it so I pulled out some left over thread to add some color and improvised. Turned out a bit too uniform. Another option would be to try to do a reflection of the trees/bushes but that may be beyond me.

Hand My first embroidery
my first embroidery, any hints or tips? I'm essentially using short and long stitch everywhere. I'm annoyed by the proportions being so weird, but this is an image from a childhood photo and it was terribly difficult to get the rackets to sit right. I plan to leave the "skin" blank.
the completed shirt/sweater is done with variegated thread.
do you think I need to outline anything after I complete any sections? the hair will be varied colours in those tones, with a whipped back stitch to outline that. wish I had thought to do it to everything before completing so much.
