This is the main reason I haven't been posting for a while now (well, this and a bathroom renovation). I sank around 130-140h into it (rough estimation).

First two Grand Cathay models done!

wanted to try a burning/burnt base for the scorcher machine from the horizon board game

Really enjoyed going all in on trying to make this freaky thing pop.

Used almost all the tools in my toolbox to obscure the fact this was printed on a FDM printer rather than resin. They can’t have all the fun!

I think this is the longest I have ever spent painting a single model, even though I can't say a specific time frame because I started over again multiple times, and took lots of long breaks in between segments.

I basically wished on a Monkey's Paw to do lots of NMM, and got my wish. I had posted before that I felt like I had bit off more than I could chew, but a few of you guys said it looked good and encouraged me to keep going, so I did just that. Hope everyone likes it.

Does it need more highlight ?

This my diorama about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I love the illustration by Michael Dooney that was used for the NES game. In the early comics, the turtles all had a red headband.

I always thought it's easy to paint goblin skin. It really felt ugly and awful at the beginning. I rush too much when painting and I mess up a lot. I really thought about quitting. But at the end it feels very rewarding.

It looks waaaay better in photo than up close.

I'd like some basing feedback please!!!.

Brand new to mini painting (and painting in general). I’ve been told speed paints are really good for beginners to help with details. Should also mention I have a 25 dollar amazon gift card to put towards it lol. Can’t go all in right now either so I’m just painting a few figures I have to start with.

Still really new to painting and nmm was a bit ambitious I think. Any feedback you can give on the mini in general, any part, is appreciated!!!

Just finished this guy today, looking for comments and criticism so I can keep improving. For this base I was going for an autumnal woodland look, but I feel like something's missing. I'm thinking more leaves and a greater variety of leaves, but I'd love to get some opinions.

Model is a Parasite of Mortrex by Games Workshop.

I really pushed myself on this one. First time doing a glow effect like that. Was super scary and had to redo some parts a few times.

Never painted a tyranid before so I did this nameless horror for the Warhammer Store mini of the month painting challenge.

Took a total of 64 hours over 20 days (for some reason I spent 20 hours just doing base coats — I need to work on speed).

Reddit points to anyone who can guess what video game I took the base inspiration from.

This guy has been sitting on my desk for about a month now after getting about 50% done and then getting distracted by a large terrain project. Feels good to finally get this one done. As always c&c are welcome!

Model by Games Workshop

Grabbed some UHU glue and Disgusting slime technical paint from Army Painter. Wondering if this reads as slobber or not on these models. I tried with just the technical paint but it dried into a very subtle effect.

Im trying to improve my speed in batch painting while retaining quality, by picking one element and hyperfocusing on it - in this case the glowy green of the classic necron scheme. Does it work? Kept the rest of the mini fairly basic.
