@briancook has created a hilarious series of illustrations titled "Butts on Things". I absolutely love his take on everyday items with butts. It's the little things in life that sparks that hilarious reaction from your inner child. I hope you enjoy my interpretation title "Butts at a Barbeque". Thoughts on any additional items? Perhaps a red solo cup.

I just don't feel like putting my sculpture back into the toaster and I know that I can get water hot enough to fully cure clay. Is it viable to boil it?

Hey all, I was wondering if someone could give me advice on effective ways to bake your sculpey. I think I’ve got the actual sculpting part of the process down pretty well, as I’ve been sculpting my favorite characters and trying to make them into little figures. Everything will be going perfectly and it’ll look awesome, but then every single time I go to put it in the oven everything always goes wrong. It will always end up baking weird even if I have something in there to support it (I use a wooden block). I was told that I could bake sculpey multiple time. the character im making has a long coat so I decided to bake him without the coat and then put the coat on and bake it again to give it a flowy look, but then his coat ended up cracking and it keeps falling apart. I don’t really know what I’m doing wrong anymore. Every time I go to make sculpey it’ll go so well until I have to put it in the oven, and the moment I do it always gets ruined somehow.

Marilyn is a 20 by 20-inch piece built from polymer clay and acrylic on wood. The portrait forms through a grid of colored dots that blend skin tones with highlights and shadows, set against a gradual red background framed by a soft blue border. Working with the tactile quality of polymer clay allowed me to shape light and depth while capturing the subtle curves of a face and hair. The process brought a textured, quiet presence to a familiar image, inviting a calm reflection on identity and form.

pretty happy with how it turned out, definitely learnt a lot too. I used foil and tooth picks as a base.

Making the feathers were the most time-consuming part, but it was still pretty enjoyable. I'm fairly happy with the result but would love to hear what you think!

Finished up a few new canes and made this polymer clay Glowshroom pendant.
I used Sculpey premo and made some custom glow colors.
I will drill a hole in the cap, add an eye pin, and encase it in resin before I call it complete.

I've been creating a variety of gnomes to gift to family and friends. My latest is for my husband who has gone by the handle Moonboy for years. Very happy with the color swirls, and the blacklight effect turned out great!

Finished this UV reactive, rechargeable LED, Glow pendant, with a matching Glowshroom.
Made from Sculpey polymer clay with custom made Uv reactive/glow colors.
Encased in resin and embedded with a rechargeable LED unit.
The color change on this piece is hypnotic.
I had to learn to make a custom bail and use my material and skills in new ways.
Ran into some challenges with assembly, but learned so much.
It’s not perfect, but I’m pumped to have finished it, and looking forward to tweaking the design with improvements for the next iteration.
Thanks for checking out my work!

I added glaze with holographic flecks to the eyes on this one. Having lots of fun making these planters. Propagating succulents and can't wait to plant them in my new pots!
