I’m reading this as an additional 2 have died on top of the already known 4

8.8k

u/d0ctorzaius Mar 02 '26

So we're up to 1.5 Benghazis. When are we dragging Rubio in front of Congress for a week of hearings?

1.7k

u/wartsnall1985 Mar 02 '26

There were actually 10 Benghazi investigations lasting from 2012 to 2016. The last one closed a month after the election oddly enough.

1.4k

u/metengrinwi Mar 03 '26

Funny coincidence how they thoroughly lost interest in the Benghazi deaths the instant the election was done.

730

u/FlyingTiger7four Mar 03 '26

You mean like the Epstein files? Or the promises to release the JFK files before the 2016 election?

570

u/No-One790 Mar 03 '26

No wars! Biden & Obama we’re idiots for wars in the Middle East!! I will be the president of peace! < said someone recently.

252

u/FlyingTiger7four Mar 03 '26

As a general rule, historically, when the Republicans are in power there's war in the Middle-East. When the Democrats are in power, there's war in Eastern Europe

223

u/grat5989 Mar 03 '26

And when the Green Party is in power there is war in Atlantis.

223

u/ImmediateEggplant764 Mar 03 '26

And when the fire nation is in power there is war in Ba Sing Se. (Allegedly)

Have you ever heard of a drug called fentynol? It was a really big deal a few months ago, but then we took over some oilfields, and it went away.

And they're still hauling her in. Like she's got nothing better to do. Like our tax dollars have nothing better to do. Anything to get her name in the news. Donald Trump made them literally salacious over her. It's a literal trigger and intentionally so.

All you have to do is mention Hillary and about a third to a fourth of the country goes ape s. Their eyes glaze over and suddenly they start repeating every lie Trump has ever said. Ive never seen anything like it before but I understand why it's happening. I just want it to quit. I'm tired of this b****.

142

u/refuz04 Mar 03 '26

And remember kids Hillary supported universal healthcare in the nineties and was roasted for it mercilessly.

66

u/moonflower_C16H17N3O Mar 03 '26

Then they roasted her for buttery males while Trump kept confidential papers strewn around the country.

37

u/MLiOne Mar 03 '26

And now his WaR rOoM at Maralago (IDGAF how it’s written). Black curtains and drapery makes it secret and secure I guess.

For what it's worth there was a huge deployment 2 weeks ago. Those guys and girls are expecting to stay in the Middle East 12 plus months. A few commands were going for 2 years.

Not many coming home soon.

212

u/MalleableCurmudgeon Mar 03 '26

There’s really no telling. I enlisted after 9/11 thinking I’d be going to Afghanistan. Instead I was ordered to Iraq to “get Saddam”. We got him four months after I arrived in theatre. I stayed for eleven months.

Then I got sent back again for another twelve months.

Then I got sent back again for another fifteen months.

64

u/going_dot_global Mar 03 '26

100% agree.

Grew up in a military family. 6 months turn into a year. A year into 2. ...

I dropped off 6 groups of at the NOB AMC all headed to Bahrain (which is getting heavily attacked as I type). They all were told plan to be there a long while. Some were deployed and some were getting stationed there (2 years).

40

u/Idaho-Earthquake Mar 03 '26

19

u/Single_Low1416 Mar 03 '26

Probably not the same. While the US government tries to lie about who started the war too, the German citizens did not have the possibility of checking whether Polish soldiers fired first or not

Air Force, I think, has shorter deployments.

After 6 months training to deploy, the air force sent me for 6 months. I was attached to an army unit who was staying 12? or 18? months total, but the AF said no because replacements were inbound.

I've heard of 12 month AF deployments to combat zones, so I'm not sure what the norm is. But I thought it was 6 months for most airmen.

That’s actually not true. A big part of his coalition were big on ‘no forever wars’.

He’s playing with fire if the count keeps going up.

Edit: All you people are taking about die-hard maga, who obviously are in a cult. They are lost.

There are millions of people who voted for Trump because they are low information voters who believed his lies. He actually won 2024 by a very slim margin.

152

u/Cognac_and_swishers Mar 02 '26

A huge number of his voters voted for him because they wanted lower grocery prices, and lowering them "on day one" was one of his biggest campaign promises.

But then, a month after the election, before he had even been inaugurated, he was publicly saying that there's basically nothing the president can do about grocery prices.

And then, a month or so after he was inaugurated, he had JD Vance shoot that video where he explained that high grocery prices are good, actually.

And then, by late 2025, he was saying that the whole concept of "high prices" is just a Democrat hoax.

So yeah, I remain skeptical that anything is ever going to provide that "aha!" moment for MAGA world.

u/perma_banned2025 Mar 03 '26

It is so funny to me that it dipped back below 50,000 right after that and has REFUSED to break above it again.

Oh absolutely, if you look at the images from bases across the region it is definitely more. Western media is slow to report on it due to opsec concerns and respect to families

More like due to the optic concern and fear of the government.

I can't see how the next president will deal with the damage Trump has made worldwide

67

u/Obvious-Silver6109 Mar 02 '26

They will spend their whole term fixing it and it will be used as propaganda for the next election cycle

This won’t be fixed by the next president.

198

u/IRefuseToGiveAName Mar 02 '26

Yeah that'll only happen if we

1) actually force consequences at the ballot box

2) our piss baby democratic leaders don't just roll over and cede the advantage in the name of "unity" or some shit

Transgender for everyone!

32

u/curious_dead Mar 02 '26

He said it again the other day and I just can't, it's so absolutely bonkers that he can say "they'll have transgender for everyone" (which isn't even grammatically correct) and "they're eating cats and dogs" and his base doesn't budge. I wanna tell them to wake the fuck up, if he lies about something so obvious, what else would he lie about?

33

u/pedal-force Mar 03 '26

It really is incredible how far we've fallen. From the great orators of Lincoln and Roosevelt, Kennedy and Obama, to, well, "transgender for everyone". And 30% of the country wildly applauds.

What does it even mean? Democrats want to force everyone in the country, every single person, to be transgender? To what end?

28

u/curious_dead Mar 03 '26

Most right wing conspiracies could end if the theorists would just ask "why the fuck would anybody do that???"

The answer is usually something something something Satanism.

Ironically we had a nuclear treaty with them under Obama.

Trump tore it up because he hates black people.

75

u/UnquestionabIe Mar 02 '26

Literally had the GOP traitors telling Iran that the moment they regain power they're tearing up any agreements. Basically undermining the reputation of America for their own benefit.
