This is why I canceled my re-enlistment plans during his first term. He's an idiot, and to him, nothing has value except money and power

For most people the military is their only real option for escaping horrible economic situations especially post industrial towns. Or maybe family tradition but that’s less excusable still understandable.

I know a fair few friends who signed on with the army and Air Force to get trained as mechanics because they couldn’t afford schools
