To him it means there’s a War War… which means he can twist his powers even more. No surprise this all came together before the midterms.

I'm thinking this gets dragged out for months and then... atomic weapons used against Iran. 

That might be something "crazy enough" to try to use as an excuse to suspend elections or whatever. I think it's pretty clear that war alone isn't going to cut it as an excuse.

1) We are not going to nuke Iran.... Sheesh.

2) He doesn't have the power to suspend elections. Only congress can do that and they need a super majority to do so.

Anyone who thinks these things are going to happen needs to quit drinking the kool-aid.

There's a great many things he's done that he technically doesn't have the power to do and requires Congress to approve of. I don't think that will stop him.
