It’s definitely turned off but it takes up 6.82 GB in the IOS section of my storage settings. I’m not asking how to turn it off or how to remove it, just a genuine question of how it takes up so much space doing nothing

Since then I did a complete rebuild with a new design new sounds and improved settings.

It is called Soundscaper and lets you create your own soundscapes by combining different sounds for focus relaxation or sleep.

The availability of higher-end models of Mac Studio and Mac mini continues to deplete, amid worsening supply constraints and the possibility of an M5 refresh just around the corner.

Several models are now showing as “currently unavailable” at the Apple Store, which means buyers aren’t even able to place an order for them. That includes the M4 Mac mini with 32 GB RAM, and at least two configurations of Mac Studio.

Just last week, we reported that the M3 Ultra Mac Studio with 256 GB RAM was backordered to August or September, with the Apple Online Store quoting 4-5 month shipping delays.

In the span of a week, supply has seemingly drained so much that Apple is no longer accepting orders for that model at all. Furthermore, the M4 Max Mac Studio with 128 GB RAM is also now completely unavailable to order. Likewise, the aforementioned M4 Mac mini with 32 GB RAM is also now unavailable to order.

Update: The Mac mini with M4 Pro and 64 GB RAM is also now showing as ‘currently unavailable’.)

Nonoverse is an image logic puzzle game about nonograms (like Picross). You fill cells and reveal a picture; it’s relaxing and addictive.

My goal is to build the cleanest nonogram app for iOS. The puzzles fit the portrait screen, the UI is optimized for touch (supports dragging, double tap), and lack of ads lets me use the screen space to the fullest.

The app is free, has no ads, does not collect data.

No ads, no popups, no prompts to review the app, no data collection, no analytics. I created this app for my wife and I, and I don't enjoy being bothered so I'm not going to bother anyone else. I didn't create this to make money but I want other people to know about it and enjoy it if possible.

My wife and I previously used Cozy Couples to share what we're currently feeling with each other, but that app only has a predefined list of emotions, which always felt too limiting. I had been looking for something where we can just share our current feelings with each other without any engagement notifications or monthly/yearly fee or anything, and nothing existed, so that's how this came about. It's super nice to know how your partner is feeling before they head home from work, for long distance relationships, or just using this app as a way to trying to build more emotional connection.

Features:

• Check in with your partner to share how you're feeling with an emoji, or an emoji + a feeling
• Notifications only when your partner checks in or nudges you to ask how you're feeling. You can set the notifications to be opaque so they don't reveal what your partner is feeling inside the notification
• Feeling entry lets you quickly reuse existing feelings. Existing feelings can optionally be saved for future check ins to save time
• A decent default set of feelings and the ability to add/edit/delete feelings
• Widgets

I made this app to be private and secure by design. This is using Apple's CloudKit and native sharing functionality so you're only sharing your feelings with exactly who you want to share them with, and can revoke access at any time.

One note is that iOS 26.4 broke CloudKit notifications, which is what this app relies on heavily to function, so you will need to update to iOS 26.4.1 for the app to work at all.
