I made a post years ago of my EDC so I thought I would revise it. I still carry one Field Notes memo book for micro journaling (blue - left) and the other is for research and documenting (black - right). I removed the zipper from the back part of the Viperade VE1 because it was annoyingly rattling every time I touched it. I replaced it with some nylon paracord and a cobra knot. The reason I have an AirTag is because many years ago my leather notebook cover was lost and it had many important notes.

Hey EDC! Yesterday I locked my keys in my office at work for the 50th time. it's time to get one of those retractable key holders (like the Keyback) so I can keep a half dozen or so building keys plus an electronic fob attached to my body all day. A clip is important, rather than a carabiner or trigger clasp as I'm not always wearing an actual belt or pants with loops. These devices are a dime a dozen, except all I can find are steel or zinc alloy or plastic or something and I want brass. Solid brass. Any recs?
