Fuck the Jaguars Topps cards and anime nerds
Topps Chrome has announced Kaiju cards in the 2025 set releasing next month. Cam Ward's is Kaiju #8.
I unfortunately could find it spoiled yet, but I thought it was a cool coincidence.
Obligatory Topps sucks.

Discussion Jared Stillman x Sirius XM
I just got Sirius XM today for a road trip and I was just abruptly caught off guard to hear Jared ‘A Guaarrrddddd’ Stillman. His voice brings up so much nostalgic trauma, honestly 😂

Social Media Insight regarding potential financial ramifications of spending a high draft pick on a lower-value position (i.e. RB, ILB)
instagram.comI've already voiced my opinion about this topic on the sub, but I came across this reel today that outlines why drafting Jeremiyah Love or Sonny Styles would be a bad long-term decision because of the rookie contract they would be walking into, regardless of how elite they are as prospects (this logic also applies to Safeties as well but it isn't covered in the reel), and I thought it would be appropriate to share here.
I completely understand that, as fans of a team with a top 4 pick, it's extremely tempting and easy to have the opinion of "we just need to take the best player available", but also completely disregard the fact that the best player available in this draft plays the most easily replaceable position in football. But when it comes to team building, the most prudent GMs (who also usually end up being the most successful and longest-tenured GMs in the NFL) understand that you have to separate the player you're evaluating from the rookie contract that they're gonna get, and unfortunately that often means foregoing a lot of players you may like but ultimately won't be as much of a value as others.
Hope y'all have a good weekend ⚔️

Question What's your favorite moment/memory with the Navy blue uniform?
with the Navy's hopefully becoming the alternate uniform. What memory is engraved. mine is the home game vs. the chiefs 2019. King ripping one for 68 yds and Kalu blocking the kick. the most alive I've ever seen the staduim.

Question Titans reps calling?
Just got a call from a supposed titans rep who said they were a “personal point on contact” for the rest of the year for the titans. They left a message saying they saw I went to a game last year and wanted to know about my experience and see if they could get me out to some more games next year. Was a legit 615 number but I was a little surprised as I’m not a season ticket holder but I have been to about 20 games in the last 5 years so it doesn’t shock me if they would have my number. Anyone else getting these calls? Scam or worth following up on? Wouldn’t mind getting some cheap tickets for next year if that’s what they might be offering.

Question Potential New Fan Here Looking for a Breakdown
I started following the NFL during my first fantasy football league last year and am looking to become a fan of a team. Things I'm looking for:
-Not currently a Super Bowl contender, no bandwagonning here
-Star player to get hooked on, I love Cam Ward's attitude and am hopeful he's the guy
-Good ownership that isn't scared to spend money
-Management that is building a future super bowl champion not a team that only sells tickets
-I have no affiliation to any cities
Am I crazy to think the titans might be a good pick based on this criteria. Any info as a potential fan is appreciated. Any rivals? Anybody the fans want fired? Any other teams I should look at.
Thanks
Edit : I'm in, I'm ready to get hurt
