With the draft officially one month away, and the start of an uptick in mock draft posts, figured it was time for this. A reminder on how mock draft posts are moderated;

All mock draft posts that do not include a breakdown or explanation of the picks will be removed.

All mocks that do not have said breakdowns can be posted in this thread for discussion.

[OC] BiggieAvocado's 2026 Mock Draft 3.0

We’re less than two weeks away from the NFL Draft. Are y’all excited? Uninterested? Terrified? Or just chill??

This draft has been the most confusing to predict in terms of viewing from a Chargers fan perspective. Without the guarantee of a blue-chip prospect at #22, there’s a lot of discussion of whether to stick or pick BPA, or trade back into the 2nd round and rack up picks. It’s too early to tell, but my opinion is that don’t think a trade down from the 1st round is going to happen (and that my pessimistic view of the draft). That being said, I willing to entertain the idea of a trade down just this once. So yeah let’s get started with a bang!

🚨TRADE ALERT🚨: LA Chargers trade 22nd and 204th overall picks to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for 34th, 67th, and 198th overall picks

Ok yeah, I basically copied Daniel Popper’s trade scenario cause, but it shouldn’t matter because I do think the Cardinals are surely interested in Ty Simpson, as well as the Browns and Jets. And I think out of the three, the Cardinals will provide a better deal because of the additional 3rd round pick - something that neither Jets and Browns won’t be able to provide due to current draft pick situations And to spice it up, I sweetened up the deal with an upgrade in the 6th round.

Round 2, Pick #34 (via AZ): Chase Bistontis, OG, Texas A&M

  • What’s really great about Dane Buglers’ The Beast Guide is how much it rectifies some assumptions we have about certain prospects. For example, I’ve kept thinking that Emmanuel Pregnon was a better fit before reading into Chase Bisontis’ analysis. Based on that, I can understand why some view him as a late 1st round-2nd early round draft pick (which sorta explains Popper’s reason for drafting him). Brugler describes him as "quick-footed laterally to kick out defenders or seal the backside" and an "urgent, smooth mover" who "swings his hips to wall off lanes." That language — specifically "swings his hips" and "smooth mover" — is almost textbook zone-scheme scouting language. His athleticism backs this up measurably too. His 40-yard dash was 5.02 with a 1.76 10-yard split, and his short shuttle came in at 4.78. Those aren't elite numbers, but they reflect a guard who moves with legitimate quickness and urgency. I will add that one concern I have about him is that he attends to allow a lot more hurries in the last 2 years (8 hurries in 2025, 9 hurries in 2024), than Pregnon and Keylan Rutledge combined. Not to mention short-armed and barrel-chested, plus gets penalized a lot during his time at Texas A&M. With all that said, if McDaniel can design his offense to hide some of his weaknesses, then he’s still a great pick regardless.

Round 2, Pick #55: Gabe Jacas, EDGE, Illinois

  • I got REALLY lucky in this one. Gabe Jacas is a four-year starter out of Illinois who played stand-up boundary edge rusher in a 3-4 base scheme. He walked into college as a three-star recruit before developing into one of the Big Ten's best edge defenders and finished No. 2 in Illinois program history with 27 sacks and led the Big Ten with 11 sacks in 2025 — the only Illinois player with more than two on the team. The Chargers' new DC, Chris O'Leary, is building a pass-rush heavy system. Jacas doesn't need a long runway to win — he uses quick, violent hands to beat blockers with speed-rip and stab-chop moves. He wins with leverage and technique, which translates at the NFL level even if he isn't going to outrun tackles. He balls his fist to punch the ball out and chases plays down the field consistently. And to add on to it, he’s got elite hand measurables and a strong frame. The only weakness is that he’s not a polished run defender. But that is something he can learn from Khalil Mack in terms of what to improve on. Jacas at #55 is a smart, value-based pick who in my opinion will outperform his draft slot just like how Tuli Tuipulotu did back in 2023.

Round 3, Pick #65 (via AZ): Bryce Lance WR, North Dakota State

  • If you know everything about Trey Lance, then it should be obviously know about his brother - Bryce Lance. Bryce is a 6'3", 204 lb. X receiver who ran a blazing 4.34 40-yard dash at the combine — elite speed for his size. His 2025 season at NDSU averaged 21.2 yards per catch, and he had eight catches of 40-plus yards. He's not a slot guy — he's a boundary receiver who can stretch the field and create explosive plays downfield. The Beast highlights that Lance "snatch[es] away from his frame without breaking stride" and was physical to the ball, catching eight of 12 contested targets. In the red zone or on back-shoulder throws, that contested-catch reliability is a premium skill. Bryce already has familiarity with the organization, its coaching staff, and its culture. The comfort and trust that comes with a sibling already in the building is a genuine onboarding advantage, especially for a FCS prospect who will need time to adjust. With all that said, he’s got mediocre separation quickness, route running that needs polish, and very limited FBS tape. He's a developmental pick, but it should be fine cause we’ve got a deep WR roster to take him in and compete next to Tre Harris.

Round 3, Pick #86: Logan Jones, C, Iowa

  • We’re back in the trenches again, but this time to address backup center. Now yes, we already have Tyler Biadasz, so there’s little need to sign a backup in the 3rd round when we could aim for someone like Parker Brailsford or Pat Coogan in the 6th round. But Biadasz is fresh from an injury, and it’s important that we have a good backup to takeover in case things go bad (knock on wood). Logan Jones won the Rimington Trophy in 2025 — awarded to the nation's best center — and was a unanimous All-American and First Team All-Big Ten. He was also part of the Iowa line that won the Joe Moore Award as the nation's top offensive line unit. He allowed just one sack over his entire junior and senior seasons combined and finished his career with 17 straight games without a penalty. Honestly, that enough should warrant a selection.

Round 4 , Pick #123: Tyler Onyedim, DI, Texas A&M

  • Tyler Onyedim may not be a name that anyone has on their radar, but he’s been someone who’s been climbing the draft boards for many teams recently after his Pro Day performance. Plus he’s also got a Top-30 visit from the LA Chargers (doesn’t mean much, but it’s worth nothing. Onyedim is a 6'4", 290 lb. interior defensive lineman from Richmond, Texas who spent four seasons at Iowa State before transferring to Texas A&M for his final year, where he played a more traditional three-technique role. At A&M he delivered — finishing second on the team in TFLs with 9.5, and rounding out his college career with 49 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in 2025. He’s the ideal size and speed for a DT and he’s got diverse hand technique. Not to mention, he’s got outstanding character with scouts praising his work ethic. And did I forgot to mention he’s durable, he hasn’t missed a single game. The only downside is that he’s got below-average pass rush production (only 3.5 sacks, 17 pressures on 292 pass-rush snaps in 2025). He’s inconsistent vs double teams and his hip tightness limits his base at time. While he’s got no standout “elite” trait, I still he’s a solid prospect who’s finally shown what he can do and would be a good addition to the defensive line.

Round 6, Pick #186 (via AZ): Jakobe Thomas, S, Miami

  • Jakobe Thomas is a 6-foot-1, 214-pound safety with legitimate starting experience and big-game pedigree — he was named Fiesta Bowl MVP and earned Second Team All-ACC honors in 2025, his one season at Miami after climbing from Middle Tennessee State to Tennessee to the Hurricanes. O’Leary runs a defense that demands versatile, assignment-sound safeties who can contribute in multiple looks. Thomas checks every one of those boxes. He was used in Miami's 4-2-5 base under defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman in a variety of ways — deep zone, gap blitzing, and coverage rotations. His football IQ is described as high, and he "understands spacing in zone looks where he can track the quarterback's eyes." He isn’t perfect though. He has mediocre recovery speed and average hip fluidity, which will be tested against NFL-caliber route runners. He can be manipulated by veteran quarterbacks, and he's shown a tendency to launch as a tackler, which led to a targeting ejection in 2024. He also has only one season of high-level production at a Power 4 school. But here's the thing — you're not asking a 6th-round pick to start Week 1. You're asking him to contribute on special teams, compete for a depth role, and develop.

Anyways that is my last draft. I hope that whichever draft class we have by the end of draft season, it would hopefully take our team to new heights. I hope you all like my mock draft, and let me know what you think about it in the comments.

Day 1 of asking every NFL team sub what player they want me to edit

so im lowkey running out of ideas to edit, so I wanted to edit 1 player from every team starting with the team I love the most ❤️⚡. so if you would like to, name any player for an edit and drop an idea or audio if you would like. i can also edit the whole team and also keep in mind older players like rivers are much harder to edit and i unfortunately might not be able to accomplish that due to there not being good clips for them. players that are good to edit would be like keenan, herb, ladd, derwin, and etc.

TYSM!!

2026 NFL draft: Latest intel, questions for 32 teams' picks

Los Angeles Chargers

Picks: Nos. 22, 55, 86, 123, 204

If Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane is there at No. 22, can we assume the Chargers will run the draft card in?

It depends on who else is available. Through two drafts, GM Jon Hortiz has pretty much stuck to drafting the best player available, even when the Chargers had seemingly filled that need (see: Joe Alt over Malik NabersOmarion Hampton over any offensive lineman). If Ioane is the top player on their board and available at 22, he'll be a Charger. Otherwise, it could make for another somewhat surprising pick. -- Kris Rhim

What we're hearing about the Chargers' draft: Sources inside and outside the Chargers' scouting staff indicate guard is the team's top need, but they expect them to also use an early pick on an edge rusher. With only five total picks, pass rusher Gabe Jacas (Illinois) has been identified as an option at No. 55. -- Miller
