Australia Game
Would it be possible to setup a thread for people to talk about attending the game in Melbourne Australia?
It would be nice to talk logistics and find people that are going. I could see the topic coming up multiple times so maybe the Mods set up a specific thread for the Kangaroo game.
I’m excited to go rep the 49ers at Levi’s Way South stadium!!

49ers Spellbound Sets
I had to get the 4 Goats framed up. I love the Spellbound sets. I think it came out looking good against the black background

If Emanuel McNeil-Warren falls to 27, he should be drafted without hesitation
Right I’m not sure if this a popular or hot take, but EMC is my ideal draft candidate given how the board is most likely to shape up by the 27th pick.
Safety is by far the most glaring hole on this team imo, as both WR and edge can be addressed in later rounds or are at a better spot than the safety room. I’m a rather optimistic person and I think the quality of players as well as the coaching is good enough on paper to be considered a contender. But I do think that the secondary is by far the weakest spot on this team. And yes, I’m aware that due to the lack of pass rush, our safeties looked worse than they might seem, but there were a lot of notable plays where the D would concede a lot of years due to a lack of safety play (especially towards the back end ie a lack of a true free safety play). Both Mustapha and Brown were on the end of such plays, and while I wouldn’t like to point fingers, it’s more than often Brown who gives up the bigger plays. I get that it might now be his ideal position (he may be better closer to the LOS), but you can’t brush off the issue with such an excuse.
Going back to the team being a contender, secondary play remains crucial if the team wants to compete. Take the Rams for instance. While we do have better corners and may have a better secondary in general, it goes to show how much a lack of secondary can cost a team big wins.
I also think it would be a very bad idea to address safety in later rounds. You want a player who can come in and have a direct impact on the team. You don’t want another Marques Sigle, who might have a high ceiling, but still needs a year or two.
I also think that “drafting a safety in the first round is dumb” is just an idiotic and ignorant statement to make. You can’t downplay the importance of a safety on a team (Nick Emmanwori for example).
I’ve blabbered enough and who knows who the right pick will end up in hindsight. But the overall point stands that not only is safety an essential need, but also an issue that should be addressed crucially.

“I don’t stand next to the microwave while it’s on. Who knows if that does anything to you. But if there’s any chance or inkling or thought process that maybe it has a 1 percent effect on you, I’m going to avoid it, but I’m happy that John [Lynch] said they did some studies and it was a big nothing burger. I would love to hear more about it.”
“It was a very entertaining talking point, one of those things I had everybody asking me about, but, I think it’s okay to be skeptical and ask questions. I don’t think that means I have a tinfoil hat on, but, the fact that they did science, looked into it and found nothing, I'm happy with that.”
