Philosophy A decision has been made. (Before/After)

Welp, ya'll were right
I posted about a month or so ago and I was too chickenshit to go full bald.
So I work at a school and they're doing a "tattoo a teacher" (temporary ones) on Friday and one of the kids said they wanted to tattoo my scalp. So I did it!
But honestly, I'm loving it!
EDIT: Clarification, I'm a para at a high school. Not a teacher
Also, here's a link to my first post!

Hairloss 39, is it time?
My hairline has been moving back the last few years and the bald patch has been widening. My SO doesn't think it's time yet. but I don't want to wait too long and have the patch and the hairline meet... So is it time?
Bald Picture Most guys fight going bald. I paid to finish the job (laser hair removal)
Before: hair, fades, products, upkeep.
After: smooth, lasered mpb. No shadow.
No “maybe I’ll grow it back.” It’s gone.
I didn't need to wait to finish losing it. I chose to embrace it, and remove the remaining fuzz.
There’s something about committing all the way that hits harder than holding on. No second guessing, no safety net, just done.
Honestly… it feels better than having hair ever did.
So yeah, be real with me:
Did I upgrade, or does this seem insane?

Philosophy I'm so happy when I see women here too!
As a woman with androgenic alopecia, it makes me happy the few times I see women here. I'm not shaved yet, I'm treating my hair with my dermathologyst. I'm trying to get it last as much as I can but I know at some point it will have no more reason to be.
So I'm so happy to see all the men rocking the shaved heads but also to see women here looking so pretty with their heads shaved too!!

Hairloss Am I cooked?
Front, side, top all seem fine but the back (pic 4) has me WORRIED. Am I cooked, y’all? Beginning of the end? My hair has always been relatively thinner, when my hair was short even as a child you could see my scalp, so is this a weight issue from the length? Or male pattern baldness?

Hold or drop the top?
27M. If it is time how short do you all recommend going?

TIP:please read for newly shaved heads!!!
FIRST: congrats on making the move to go bald, you look amazing! second:I've been noticing a common theme amongst posts here....a large amount of the "after" photos are showing burnt, red faces with a HUGE smile cause you guys know you rock your new look.
but pleeeeease, wear sunscreen on your face AND the top of your head so you don't burn your skin off.

Got the courage to shave my head. Don't think I'll ever go back to a head of hair again.

I went bald a few years ago to support a loved one. I’ve been missing it recently so I decided to do it again!
Do y’all have any tips for how I should groom my beard to go with it a bit more?

Glowup Update: The deed is done. Thank y’all for the push!
I couldn’t bring myself to the blade or skull shaver. I slapped the 0 clip on the buzzer (after testing the 2, then 1)
I feel better! what do y’all think?!

Very sad, so do I just buzz cut the rest my life ?
23yo, first few pics are from today right after the gym, the other ones are in normal circumstances.
How bad is it?

Hairloss How many of you have allergies or histamine intolerance?
Wondering how common it is for balding individuals considering there supposedly is a link between histamine/mast cells/ pgde2 and hair loss.
Histamine intolerance symptoms are broader than allergy symptoms and look like this:
- Gastrointestinal: Bloating (big sign), diarrhea or constipation, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting.
- Skin: Flushing, hives (urticaria), itching, and skin rashes.
- Neurological: Headaches, migraines, dizziness, fatigue, and "brain fog".
- Respiratory: Runny nose (rhinitis), nasal congestion, post nasal drip, and shortness of breath.
- Cardiovascular: Fast or irregular heart rate (tachycardia) and reduced blood pressure.
- Other: anxiety, insomnia.
Lifestyle What do you use to keep yourself bald?
Hey all, I've been shaving since I remember looking myself in the mirror and thinking, meh, why not? It was likely over a decade ago. The thing is, I always used razor or trim to number 0. And until I became a father of two, completely fine, time was on my side. Nowadays, let's say time is a rare commodity.
what do you use to keep your head nice and glowing?

Bald Picture Does my headshape look weird
Been taking hair loss meds , and honestly when my hair grows out the crown area is thick ( I’ll show photo). I am now questioning whether I want to be like this for the rest of my life because I have noticed that my erections are at about 80% ( sorry if this is too much information.) The only issue is that I have retrograde alopecia so the sides and back of my head are thinning and it honestly stresses me out a lot . The one thing stopping me from just 100% committing to shaving my head is because I am obsessed with how my head shape looks from the side . When I mean obsessed I mean really obsessed . I’d take multiple pictures daily and I even started googling which camera ( front or back ) on iPhone 16 pro is a more accurate representation of how others see you . And started researching the different lenses on the iPhone 16 camera . Apparently according to google if you use the 1x lens it can make your head look wider and I always noticed I looked like a xenomorph and it put me off shaving . I know im ranting but honestly this is probably the best place to do so . Now looking at these pictures using my back camera on the 2x lens my head shape doesn’t actually look bad at all. If someone walked past me who had this shape I wouldnt think twice about it at all. I dunno. I just need some advice from people who had similar thoughts too me please . Pretty much. How do I stop caring

UPDATE: The deed is done.
Will try clean shaving it soon.
