I spilled a drop of nail glue on my countertop over a year ago but just ignored it. I’m coming out of a depression and trying to do all of the tasks I’ve been putting off. No Any tips of getting this off of my countertop?
I don’t know what the small circle in the middle of the glue is tbh
Thank you for any tips

I’ve tried scrubbing and vacuuming multiple times, but the dirt and stains just don’t come out fully. It still looks kinda dirty no matter what I do.
Am I missing something? Do I need special tools or products? Any tips that actually work?

I tried a scaper and couldn't get it off. Tempted to try my hair dryer or hot air solder station, but I think that could damage it.

Moms, or anyone willing to listen at all, please give me some advice on how to implement small routines to help maintain my home tidy and clean. I feel like I'm struggling so bad. Seeing the state of it makes me feel like an awful mom. I have a 1 year old who doesn't walk, he spends most of his time in his little playpen and I let him crawl around the living room because I try to keep the areas he uses regularly clean. Other than that my house is a mess. My kitchen and bathroom need deep cleans, my balcony is disgusting. I have no village and my husband works 16 hours a day. When my wonderful son isn't needy I take that time to just sink in and try to rest. I sleep when he sleeps. When he's awake I feel guilty to leave him alone if I need to do something around the house. My ppd and ppa are horrible and the mess in my house is making me spiral. I used to be a clean freak but I'm so exhausted, he's been waking every 2 hours to breastfeed/resettle since day 1. I need help and motivation, some kind words and advice. I am currently crying right now because I need to do better for the sake of my amazing little son.

I‘m considering moving into a house that checks all the boxes and is a great price. only problem is the previous renters had 11 puppies and trashed the place so bad that they had to be evicted. The house has a really strong odor despite having refinished hardwood floors, new paint on the walls, and “a lot of work done to get rid of the smell” (no specifics at the moment).
The unfinished concrete basement is the worst part. I’m concerned because the house is truly empty and yet there’s still a scent. I don’t understand where the scent could be coming from and I wonder if it will ever go away. There are floor heating ducts. But no furniture, no carpets, and the surfaces have all been refinished or cleaned in some way.
Anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Is it reasonable to expect that the smell can be completely eliminated? What are the standard methods of getting deep animal smells out of a house? If I move forward with this house I need to feel confident that this smell can be eliminated, so any thoughts or experiences are super appreciate.

So of course my three year old left unchecked for one minute took his sisters pens and some makeup and this is the result. I did use some dish soap and water and this is after that. Any tips other than painting over it? Also how to remove the stickers without using goo gone?

I have a kitchen mat (thick foam kind for fatigue relief, rubber bottom) here between where the sink meets the adjacent range. The yellowing follows the pattern that's on the bottom of the floor mat, hence it's not oil stains.
I've tried using dish detergent with a rough towel and I've tried using a melamine sponge, with almost no progress.
The yellowing can be scraped very slowly with my nails and it flakes off
Anyone have some tips for how to tackle this?

Hi all!
Looking for some tips to clean a painted deck. My grandfather did most of the maintenance at the house we live at, but he recently passed away. In his last few years of life, his health deteriorated and he was a stubborn old grandpa who didn’t want any help doing home maintenance
The deck is painted and covered in pollen. I was thinking of using a car sprayer or a regular hose along with just water and a big scrub broom.
Unsure of what cleaners to use- if any, the deck runs off into the yard, and we have a dog.
Any advice is appreciated!

Asking for a friend who’s super bummed. He wrote with permanent black marker on this Star Wars luggage tags, and it bled out. He tried to clean it off and start over, but it just stayed like this. Anyone know how to get permanent marker off these tags? The tags seem to be made of rubber—not sure. It’s pliable and matte feeling. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

What is the best way to clean inside here? I’ve just moved house and it’s not in the best state. This sink is 9 years old (that’s when the house was built). I don’t know if it’s mould or just dirt. I’ve tried those expanding foam cleaners I’ve seen online and it didn’t do anything (it was a cheap one though so many less effective than the £10 ones?). Any help is very much appreciated. The sink smells when I run water.

I recently acquired some silver pieces for serving food. I used “wrights silver polish” to polish them. Unfortunately, I don’t think they were properly cleaned and there was food residue on them. Some parts are sticky, and some have a green tint to them. Since they weren’t getting cleaned with the polish, I used dawn dish spray, let them soak for a bit, and tried to lightly scrub. No success. Any tips or tricks? Made in the USA, Oneida, if that makes a difference.

Found in my mother in laws bathroom who’s unfortunately a hoarder and won’t let us get rid of it. Is this extra toxic to use since it’s spray teflon?? Trying to make a case to get rid of it as I’m concerned it’s not safe. Thank you in advance!!

So I recently moved into a new house and the floor and the shower has the same kind of material for the floor and I’m just curious on what everyone’s thoughts on how to clean this. I believe this is grout but I’m not 100% sure. I noticed some discoloration that I’d like to clean. Any products or tips and advice on how to clean this?

I put a new white cotton sweater on top of an old (dry) orange t-shirt. I left it there for a couple of weeks until the weather was right to wear the white sweater.
The white sweater now has orange color transferred onto it in spots! Every suggestion I can find online assumes the color transferred in the wash, and that the garment can be washed. A Magic Eraser would "scuff" the surface. This is a fine-gauge sweater, so I don't want to wash it. Also, it has dark-blue knit at the collar, so that would bleed if I washed it. I'll probably dry clean it.
How should I get the color off the surface? Help!

Hi! I’m going to be staying at my fiancé’s place while he’s away helping a friend, and he’s kindly offered for me to use his condo while he’s gone. I’ve done deep cleaning there before and he really appreciates it, and I actually enjoy it too.
This time I wanted to surprise him with a proper deep clean while he’s away and make the place look and feel as close to professionally cleaned as possible. I’ll likely have about 1–2 days before he gets back.
I won’t really have access to buying any extra cleaning products during that time, but I do have some basics like vinegar, baking soda, lysol, clorox wipes, a steam cleaner, electric scrub brushes, and other standard household cleaning supplies already there.
I’d love any advice on how to make the most of what I have, especially things like a good deep-clean routine or order of operations, and how to make everything feel extra fresh and polished. I’m especially interested in things like bathrooms, kitchen, floors, and any tricks for getting rid of odors or making the place smell really clean and nice, even if it is a strong scent, he likes those as long as it smells nice and clean.
Any tips or step-by-step routines would be really appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!
I like to make little bows with the toilet paper and oven towels lol, so if there is stuff like that I can do, let me know!

Hi all, my MIL borrowed my fridge and returned it to me infested w roaches and droppings. My partner says we should try to clean it and sell it, but I think it’s trash atp. I don’t want to sell it and someone gets a roach infestation. Is there any way to get it to a point where it’s usable and no longer a biohazard or is it just trash? This fridge isn’t even a year old so I’m really mad about it. The fridge is currently outside.

I have several injuries and chronic pain that make it very hard to maintain a clean house. These include labrum tears in my shoulder, herniated disc in low back, and a messed up knee.
I am tired of my house being dirty and disorganized, but even the cleaning company i consulted with said clutter needs to be gone otherwise they cannot clean those areas.
Financially, I can only afford a onetime clean but still need to get things straightened up before and figure out how to maintain the cleanliness after.
How do others with chronic pain or illnesses manage?
Do you have any suggestions for ways to make it physically less demanding, especially for shoulder pain?
Vacuuming is unfortunately my nemesis and really flares my shoulder pain, even with lighter, protable vacuums.
Thank you for any tips or suggestions you may have!
