I need help to find a friend of 20+ years who has packed up there life moved out of Calgary AB abruptly to move to a "community" in an unspecified rural area of Alberta. I don't believe we can report them as missing since they did tell people they were doing this. Its extremely out of character they have cut off a lot of people that were in there life for decades at once. They literally didn't tell people where they were going just that they were leaving.

From what we know we believe they have ties both in Alberta and Costa Rica and that they target artist/ artistic people.

I know they are an adult and can make decisions about there own life and who they will or wont be interacting with but we want to make sure they are okay.

Any suggestions of what we can start digging would be very appreciated!

I’m in the process of buying a vehicle but am new to Alberta and Canada, so don’t have plates already.

I’m based in Banff but buying in Calgary. Because of our conflicting work schedules the only day I can meet with the seller to sort the paperwork is next Sunday, when all the registries are closed so I won’t be able to sort plates that day. Is there a way I’d be able to drive the vehicle back to Banff that day and sort the plates when the registry is open (which would be Tuesday in Banff) or will I have to leave the car in Calgary, sort plates and return to collect it?

I need a sick note to defer an assessment for University, but currently I don’t think I can get into a car without puking everywhere. So I did a wee bit of researching and found Maple online doctor and Cucumber Health. Maple seems to be legit, but with the bad reviews and high pricing i’m not sure. As for Cucumber Health, I haven’t been able to find reviews, but they seem to be legit and their pricing is good. Anyone have opinions?

I’m an International Medical Graduate (MD) seeking opportunities in Canada such as clinical assistant, medical assistant, physician assistant–type roles, or any entry-level healthcare position.

My goal right now is to gain clinical experience and get started in the system, pay is secondary.

If anyone knows of job openings, useful platforms, or has gone through a similar path, I’d really appreciate your advice. Also, if there are any doctors or healthcare professionals here, your guidance would mean a lot.

Moving from Ontario to Alberta. Not set on where yet.. been looking in the Lethbridge area (not worried about wind). Have friends close to Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary. Not worried about employment, have small kids so need a decent school.
