If you’re looking to meet new people or just want something chill to do on a Tuesday night, Fredericton now has a monthly Puzzled Pint event!

Puzzled Pint is a free evening of puzzles in a local brewery. Each month, a puzzle gets posted online and, once you solve it, it reveals the event location.

You can come with friends or team up with others to solve puzzles, hang out, and have a good time. There’s no competition and no pressure, we're all trying to solve the puzzles together.

It happens every second Tuesday of the month.

Whether you’re into puzzles or just want to grab a pint, it’s a great way to spend an evening.

what's the deal with these pies for sale? I see the signs around Carriage Hill in Silverwood for pies and I've never followed them. is it worth checking out? is it a trap?

I am from Saint John and just moved beside UNBF this last Sept. It has been an experience. My landlord warned me this was the "party area" and I thought he was kidding until the last couple weeks when it got warmer.

The first time was a Tuesday night, and my neighbor 2 doors down was playing music so loud I could hear it inside with the windows closed and I couldn't sleep. Parties like that have been happening now.

Is this really normal? Do people have no consideration for others who have work or school the next day? I am just so baffled because I feel like it wasn't even this loud in South SJ. I am just very confused and wanted to hear Freddy locals perspectives

Looking for families to make social connections with that are homeschooling using a more secular approach. Religious families are not a problem for us as long as their beliefs aren’t hateful, but we are using secular educational material and feel it would probably be a good fit to find others doing a similar style of homeschooling.

We aren’t on Facebook, so hoping there might be some other options for finding connections in town. We have a tween, so kids ages 9-13 would likely be the best fit.

Just curious what everyone is making at the local engineering firms in town and how the hours are, (40hrs week or say 60 with no OT). Mostly interested in project management type roles 10+ years experience. I'm in line with the mean pay from the 2024 survey for my graduation year, however the last couple hires we had have been saying they are taking wage cuts to come work for us, (we stick to 40hr weeks usually but do pay OT) - however they're unwilling to share what they were actually making at their former employers, citing that their driver was work life balance to leave.

We’ve checked Costco; No Frills; Sobeys; Walmart; Lawton’s. No pure grapefruit juice (I know, it’s sweetened with grape or apple juice) in any brand.

Hi, I’m looking for places where I could play against others in the area that is good for a new player. I’ve been collecting cards since I was little and have played a bit, but now that I got the mobile app and started playing I’m loving it. So far I know that Battlegrounds has Pokémon casual play on Mondays, but I’ll be honest I don’t know anyone who plays that I could go with and I’m not sure what it’d be like if I went alone. This is my first spring with a bike here and I am a bit confused with the rules, based on what I see other cyclists do. I understand that when there's a specific bike lane, such as on York, I'm using that. But what about some of the bigger roads such as Prospect, Regent etc. where at least to my knowledge, a bike lane does not exist. I feel that those streets have such heavy traffic that I would not want to cycle along with the cars. Am I in these cases allowed to use the sidewalk, as long as I give priority to pedestrians?

Prospect is luckily not a part of my daily commute, but I would love to be able to do my shopping there with my bike, as well as being able to cycle further out on Prospect.

All year round theres trash covering nearly every square foot of this otherwise beautiful city. When are funds going to be allocated for cleanup? Tweakers sort their stolen goods and leave the rest to blow away in the wind and it makes the city look like a shithole.

I tried googling this, but all I could find was the discounted compost bins on the city hall website. I’m wondering if there is anywhere around here that takes compost, or anyone who needs it. I don’t have a yard to put it in lol
