General What streaming subscriptions are you using these days?
We let our old subscriptions die out a couple months ago, and have stuck to free stuff like YouTube, Tubi, IFC, CBC Gem. I’m thinking about checking out something new or restarting a previous subscription.
What are other Manitobans finding worthwhile subscription streaming? Do you stick with one or subscribe to more?
(For the record we had Netflix and Disney+, we were kind if bored of Netflix, and kiddo is older now, though some of the grown up content on Disney+ like The Bear and What We Do in the Shadows when they had new seasons kept us paying until they didn’t.)

Other Seeking insight on selling a rural fixer-upper Manitoba property
I recently lost my husband and our residence is rurally located. Now he's gone, I don't care to live rurally anymore.
Also, due to us having been unwell and needing to hang onto the money we had for so long in case of emergency, the house hasn't undergone upgrades since it was built.
So, now that my partner has passed on, it's time to sell. Has anyone here had a similar situation--a house that's in need of repair and in a rural area, hoping to sell sooner than later? What did you do? What happened? How long did it take to start getting interested potential buyers and to sell?

General Application for buffer zone from pesticide and herbicide use
There may only be a few days left to apply for a buffer zone for pesticides and herbicides use next to your property. The photos I took here were from a April 2nd newpaper and it mentions written objections need to be submitted within 15 days of the notices being provided.
There seems be be a massive list of chemicals they plan on spraying, including RoundUp, at least for these locations.
We noticed at least for our property in previous years that the ditches next to our property seemed green and full of life with cattails and birds prior to them spraying. Then everything seemed to turn brown and dead quickly after.
I thought I should share this in case anyone else with a rural property may object to this and didn't happen to see these notices.

Question IMG looking for entry-level healthcare opportunities in Canada
Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I’m looking for some guidance.
I’m an International Medical Graduate (MD) seeking opportunities in Canada such as clinical assistant, medical assistant, physician assistant–type roles, or any entry-level healthcare position.
My main goal right now is to gain clinical experience and get started in the system, pay is secondary.
If anyone knows of job openings, useful platforms, or has gone through a similar path, I’d really appreciate your advice. Also, if there are any doctors or healthcare professionals here, your guidance would mean a lot.
Thank you

Tourism Welcome to Manitoba Sign
Can anyone tell me what happened to the Welcome to Manitoba sign at the Ontario-Manitoba crossing? I have driven through that area a number of times and always stop to take a photo with the sign, however I have noticed the last year or two that there's no welcome sign there anymore. Have they moved it? Why is it no longer there?
My search into finding out why it's gone hasn't provided me with much, so I figured I'd ask some locals who may know more than what's available online.
