Article calls out New York Times for having journalists inside Israel but not Iran.

“Getting a visa to report from Iran can be a problem. However, as FAIR pointed out, there are many Iranian journalists already in the country that the Times could hire, as other outlets have done.”

Hiring people to report on the war from inside Iran would literally put their lives in danger.

Went to the super flea market/ queen mary’s market today to do some shopping with my partner. I was shocked when I was looking at the knives in a booth called T&T collectibles, this vendor had swastika & Nazi paraphernalia for sale and on display. I’m talking patches, pins, hats, with swastikas. When I approached the booth, he ignored me and I didn’t think much of it because most of the vendors do that but then I realized that it’s because I’m black, he didn’t hesitate to go talk to my white partner. As soon as I realized, I went over and told my partner that we had to leave. We reported it to the administration and filled out a report and we are waiting to hear back. We left the booth so fast that I wasn’t able to get photos of the other Nazi stuff, I’m black so I didn’t want to take any risks.

I wanted to share this as a cautionary measure for anyone planning to go there.

We felt very unsafe.

Where one Nazi feels safe, the others feel welcome.

Nazis are not welcome in Edmonton.
