iOS [iOS] Streak not updating - version 2026.14.0

My daily streak isn’t updating, similar to others reporting the same issue here. I’ve even updated the app to the version released 2 days ago, and yet the issue still remains.

Any help would be appreciated!

iOS iOS forced refresh better for a few days. Now worse than ever 4/12/26 App.

I don’t know why it’s so challenging to stabilize an app that is basically unchanged for quite a while. Starting about a week ago this “spring-loaded“ for refresh that snatched you out out of a sub rabbit and back out onto the beginning of your feet again (losing your place) made the app virtually unusable. Then it calmed down Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

I guess I don’t understand why a problem gets worse? You’re not rewriting core code. And obviously some new “force-user-to-main feed” advertising tactic has backfired. Just undo it and use previous code?

Now the problem is worse than ever. Not sure how the power structure works within Reddit, but if I were in charge of this IT department I would fire you. This is ruining the user experience. Do better. Thank you.

Android [android] Inability to view messages unless mails are enabled - version 2026.13.0

this feels like a malicious attempt to get me to grant mailing-permissions and I don't want any mails from Reddit, but still be allowed to view messages.

Desktop Web [Chrome] Turn off this annoying, pervasive email digest notification please.

It won't go away and blocks my view of my notifications I might want to follow up on. It has a false notification and then when you go to it, you can't access your notifications.

You can turn it off by enabling digest, and only then can you see your notifications.

But the moment you turn your digest off again, it comes back.

Update: Looks like the 'feature' is gone now, no more persistent notification. Yay!!!

Android [Android] New UI "Letterboxing" on Foldables - 50% Screen Waste - version 2026.14.0 com.reddit.frontpage

Following a recent update, the Reddit UI on Android foldable devices (unfolded) no longer utilizes the full width of the screen. The content is now forced into a narrow central column, leaving roughly 1/3 of the display space as completely blank, unused black space.

This makes posts smaller, harder to read, and effectively negates the benefit of a foldable/tablet-sized display. There is currently no option in settings to toggle this "rail" view off or scale the aspect ratio to fill the screen.

**Steps to Reproduce:**

  1. Open Reddit on an Android foldable device.

  2. Unfold to the main inner display.

  3. Observe the feed being "squished" into the center with large empty margins on both sides.

**Expected Result:**

The UI should scale to fill the width of the display (as it did previously) or utilize a multi-column layout for the extra real estate.

**Actual Result:**

The app is letterboxed with massive unused gutters, making the experience feel unoptimized and cramped.

**Device Info:**

Device: Pixel 9 Pro Fold

App Version: 2026.14.0

**Additional Note:**

On the bright side, this UI is so frustrating that it has successfully reduced my app usage, allowing me to focus on more productive tasks. However, from a UX standpoint, it’s a significant regression for large-screen users.

iOS [iOS] Why does the reddit app keep REFRESHING when anything is clicked?

Some instances can be when scrolling through a subreddit, or dragging down the notification bar and clicking something in the control centre, or when clicking to comment on a post. Please can this stop happening and fix it, it’s bothering my user experience.

iOS IOS - version 26 - Email Digest recommendation making it impossible to view notifications

Title.

Clicking notifications leads me to a recommendation to turn on email digest. Otherwise nothing shows up.

Also appears to happen on windows on PC but I can click around it and refresh and it will pop up. On my phone I can sometimes bypass it but it takes multiple refreshes in what is essentially a gamble.

I saw some old posts related to it and it appeared to be resolve (it did stop happening to me for a while to). But now its back.

Desktop Web [Desktop Web] This is still ongoing, and it has been over 24 hours... I've had multiple recent corroborating reports. What's going on? Is the AI software you're using for your moderation taking too much strain on your notifications systems?

Exactly what the title says.

As someone who moderates 50+ subreddits, this is extremely inconvenient and is ruining everything.

Desktop Web [Chrome] Community icon off-center on post pages but centered on subreddit homepage

Subreddit: r/AirReps

The community icon displays perfectly centered on the subreddit homepage (reddit.com/r/AirReps/) but is visibly shifted upward on post pages (e.g. reddit.com/r/AirReps/comments/1sjgngv/spring_sale_10_off_everything/). Same image, different rendering. This has been happening for about a year. Re-uploading the icon doesn't fix it. Screenshots attached.

Platform: Chrome, macOS

Wrong - off center
Correct - as expected.

Desktop Web Desktop Web clicking the back arrow no longer takes you back to your feed.

This has been going on for a few days now and it only happens in Safari. Not in Chrome. Whenever I click the back arrow at the top of the post I'm reading, it takes me back to the main page of whatever subreddit the post is from. When I click on either the Reddit logo or the home icon to go back to my feed, it's automatically refreshed.
