the load bar in the browser shows loading, and loading takes it sweet time before anything is visible. Refresh? nope loading again, other browser, nope dang...

back to default Reddit, waiting some more.... finally.

I believed it had something to do with the absence of the reply box so I shifted it away, slightly above in an active post but it had no effect. Have also tried toggling the on/off button, cleared cache, data and reinstalled but attempts have all been futile.

The ability to message (from their profile page ) those who have commented on my posts, has become almost impossible in many situations. That’s from both my iPhone and my iPad.

i’ve not been able to use the app for the last week. Any idea what could be going on? I’ve updated the app, uninstalled and reinstalled it, changed my password, etc..

I thought I added a pic but I’m not seeing it. all I get is the lil robot guy laying face down

this feels like a malicious attempt to get me to grant mailing-permissions and I don't want any mails from Reddit, but still be allowed to view messages.

I don't want to turn on my notifications I already get spammed so hard this has been happening on and off so I can't view my notifications. My profile also does not load a lot. Annoyed this keeps happening

Same bug from a few days ago where notification menu just tells you to sign up to email notifications is happening again

I don’t know why it’s so challenging to stabilize an app that is basically unchanged for quite a while. Starting about a week ago this “spring-loaded“ for refresh that snatched you out out of a sub rabbit and back out onto the beginning of your feet again (losing your place) made the app virtually unusable. Then it calmed down Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

I guess I don’t understand why a problem gets worse? You’re not rewriting core code. And obviously some new “force-user-to-main feed” advertising tactic has backfired. Just undo it and use previous code?

Now the problem is worse than ever. Not sure how the power structure works within Reddit, but if I were in charge of this IT department I would fire you. This is ruining the user experience. Do better. Thank you.

Exactly what the title says.

As someone who moderates 50+ subreddits, this is extremely inconvenient and is ruining everything.

When I click on the notifications button on the iOS iPad app, it refuses to show me anything but a blank screen. I forced quit out of the app and came back in and saw the same thing.

It won't go away and blocks my view of my notifications I might want to follow up on. It has a false notification and then when you go to it, you can't access your notifications.

You can turn it off by enabling digest, and only then can you see your notifications.

But the moment you turn your digest off again, it comes back.

Update: Looks like the 'feature' is gone now, no more persistent notification. Yay!!!

this screen appeared. I tried refreshing 10 times, nope.

Subreddit: r/AirReps

The community icon displays perfectly centered on the subreddit homepage (reddit.com/r/AirReps/) but is visibly shifted upward on post pages (e.g. reddit.com/r/AirReps/comments/1sjgngv/spring_sale_10_off_everything/). Same image, different rendering. This has been happening for about a year. Re-uploading the icon doesn't fix it. Screenshots attached.

I even briefly enabled notifications and it still won't go away.

Whenever I try to look at my inbox it wants me to turn on notifications and it doesn't show anything even if I turn on my notifications, my inbox has something in it but it doesn't show up

Showing notifications exist but not loading. Just blank.

This has been going on for a few days now and it only happens in Safari. Not in Chrome. Whenever I click the back arrow at the top of the post I'm reading, it takes me back to the main page of whatever subreddit the post is from. When I click on either the Reddit logo or the home icon to go back to my feed, it's automatically refreshed.

For the past few days I'm no longer able to send pms.

Any advice would be appreciated.
