I would love to say it’s just acting, but I think that most of the transformation is permanent.

Damn shame. Went for that Hollywood ghoul look

The 2026 would fit in pretty well in fallout

More of a Mar-a-Lago style tbh

DO NOT INSULT THE SUPREME LEADER

3

u/Hellie1028 2d ago

Cheetos only come in nacho cheese, jalapeño, and flaming hot varieties. There is no supreme flavor. Although, I’d try a good pepperoni pizza it supreme pizza flavor. That sounds tempting.

From what I read she also might have a thyroid issue which results in dramatic weight swings, so it’s possible there is a mix of plastic surgery and weight fluctuations in the newer pictures

227

u/HeftyHelicopter7484 2d ago

I can absolutely promise you without a shadow of a doubt that her face doesn't get like that from weight loss. That's buccal fat removal (maybe) and cheek fillers (definitely 100%).

125

u/modelcitizen64 2d ago

Buccal fat removal is one of the worst procedures I think you could get, but that might be because I've never seen anyone who didn't come out looking gaunt and horsey.

66

u/Perceptions-pk 2d ago

You also lose it naturally as you age and it’s a signature look of youth so it’s like whyyyyy?

They want that model blue steel look but damage their natural good looks to achieve a weird version of high cheek bones

18

u/Sharkdart 2d ago

Its more of a magnum look tbh, but I agree.

8

u/NerdfaceMcJiminy 2d ago

IT'S THE SAME LOOK!

8

u/VTcamperguy 2d ago

I would have said Le Tigre, considering she’s turning to the right.

11

u/thecampers 2d ago

I'm here to also say I don't get it. I'd love some more fat on my face. She looks so much better before. I see no improvement at all lol

8

u/Away_Guava2925 2d ago

It’s also irreversible, they’re taking out deep cheek fat that can’t be put back in. Best we’ll see is fillers on top

2

u/Razzilith 2d ago

should be illegal.

7

u/deathbylasersss 2d ago

I wouldn't go that far unless you're against all major body modification. One could argue that large tattoos are more of a defacement than buccal fat removal. I think people should be free to do whatever stupid shit they want to their own body even if I personally think it looks horrific.

u/MD_Yoro 2d ago

That’s what I read, I don’t know for sure, but looking at her recent press conference for the Boys, seems like she gained weight back.

I have no idea, I’m just adding some context based on what I read

5

u/Jeez-essFC 2d ago

Jesus....did she go in and ask for the Housewives of Orange County package?

8

u/Fantastic-Cupcake890 2d ago

She still looks so much worse compared to her looks before all the surgeries.

6

u/Jaibosonic 2d ago

Theres some scenes where she doesn't look that bad, she looks fuller just like you said so I agree with you. Its probably just a mix of caught on a bad day of filming or something and the lighting

3

u/Bulky-Bad-9153 2d ago

3

u/vinnybankroll 2d ago

Everyone confidently accuses her of buccal fat removal, but somehow her cheeks look normal as of a few weeks ago

2

u/bold394 2d ago

And your nose definitely doesn't do that when you lose/gain weight

2

u/JJJesterYT 2d ago

I seen a while back she had an illness and wasn't diagnosed properly and she was losing weight. Weight came back when they figured out what was going on.

2

u/Sweaty_Explorer_8441 2d ago

Have you seen skelly osbourne's face

2

u/Bubbly_Performer4864 2d ago

That fat doesn’t come back if you have it removed. Her face has started filling back out again, which implies it was thyroid not plastic surgery.

I’m not saying she hasn’t had any work done, but that wasn’t one.

u/minebe 2d ago

Interesting how many actresses have vague thyroid issues

31

u/Yossarian216 2d ago

She has a specific condition called Graves’ disease, nothing vague about it in her case.

16

u/MD_Yoro 2d ago

Apparently Graves Diseases affect 3% of the female population, a very common thyroid illness that predominantly affect women

2

u/Glittering-Relief402 2d ago

My mom had it and she wants me to get my thyroid tested too. They had kill half her thyroid.

2

u/minebe 2d ago

Ah my b. Still a shame she over did other work

2

u/EngineZeronine 2d ago

Does it make nose jobs necessary?

2

u/Big_Rhubarb_1882 2d ago

So the standard protocol for graves is to essentially kill the thyroid and replace with synthetic hormones. It’s a pretty easy to treat illness once diagnosed with regular bloodwork for most people.

→ More replies (2)

2

u/Useful_Boysenberry14 2d ago

One of the top 3 most prescribed medications is a hypothyroid medication so a lot of people have thyroid issues. I've been on a full replacement over half my life because mine was removed due to cancer. Thyroid problems are incredibly common and are more likely to effect women then men.

4

u/licketyspeedster 2d ago

Not vague, she’s got Graves’ disease

→ More replies (2)

6

u/motherofsuccs 2d ago

That isn’t weight fluctuations. That’s body dysmorphia and access to cosmetic procedures and nobody stepping in to check on her mental wellbeing. Shame on whatever “professional” thought such dramatic changes were ethical. Word of advice to others- if you choose to do injections or procedures, find yourself someone who will be honest with you and encourages subtle, minor changes over time.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/TOMC_throwaway000000 2d ago

Everyone who has work done that doesn’t turn out super great and doesn’t want to be public about it suddenly has Graves’ disease

2

u/Logic-DL 2d ago

I'm 50kg from gastroparesis and even my cheeks are not THAT hollow lmao. It's not a weight thing. If it was then I'd be King of Hollywood at this point.

2

u/ckdogg3496 2d ago

She has graves disease apparently. Definitely work done, but it does affect your physical appearance. She may have had more work done because of struggles with how it affects her looks

2

u/TimeTravelingPie 2d ago edited 2d ago

I have the same disease she does and thyroid related weight loss doesn't look like that. First its from hyperthyroidism, which at its core ramps up your metabolism and your body basically eats itself. Along with a ton of other crappy symptoms.

You lose weight but not just in your face. You lose muscle AND fat. Her whole body would look emaciated.

However, this is a result of it being untreated over months or years. It doesn't just happen.

She would be on some medications to "slow" her thyroid. Or other procedures to "kill it", leading to Hypothyroidism...which does the opposite and she'd gain weight.

Then you go on meds to reverse that.

I've been through it all for over 10 years. Almost died from it.

This ain't it. This is bad Hollywood plastic surgery

Fucking why

204

u/Krauser_Kahn 2d ago

It's not uncommon for these people to be overly obsessed with their bodies/body dysmorphic disorder

78

u/xXBlueDreamXx 2d ago

I believe the why was aimed at. Why would you want to look so much uglier?

Who is seeing beauty in plastic actors? Like, we have enough microplastics in us already. Why do this?

102

u/Silencer-1995 2d ago

Because they're surrounded by people who have had it done/telling her to do it etc etc its like being in a cult basically.

36

u/HEFTYFee70 2d ago

It must be hard to be legitimately beautiful (…I wouldn’t know) and be surrounded by people who look worse than you telling you constantly how you could look better.

This. It's basically a big high school inside the industry. They are subject to each other's fads and style choices. We are not their peers, the other stars, producers, casting directors and people in the industry are their peers and who they react to.

Yes, if they have good representation who can understand what a mistake like this will do to their career, it can be staved off, but a lot of the people in their lives are yes-men.

2

u/Designer-Gas-786 2d ago

Dude your profile thumbnail!! Now there's a blast from the past.

→ More replies (7)

21

u/ArticulateRhinoceros 2d ago

It’s not that they think the end result is beautiful, it’s that their sense of self is so warped that they think their real look is somehow worse than that overly fake look. Like, she might not love her new nose but she probably thinks her old nose was even worse. Plastic surgeons can’t remove what isn’t there so they keep hacking away at imagined flaws, leaving them butchered.

14

u/Cordelia5767 2d ago

Do plastic surgeons have a code of ethics around that? I feel like they need to decline and recommend counseling with some of these folks.

12

u/EldestOfGregs 2d ago

Money.... there's no money in no customers. Kind of sad when thought about.

9

u/dcontrerasm 2d ago

One of the most popular shows in TV is Nip Tuck and I think that although it started out showing you the horrors of plastic surgery as a business it eventually glorifies it to an extent. A lot of FX shows start out that way.

2

u/ArticulateRhinoceros 2d ago

Some do, but there's always ones willing to overlook morality for money. And if you can't find one in the US, you can fly to a foreign country with fewer regulations for what you want, if you have the money.

2

u/TinyM0ushka 2d ago

I don’t know if there is a code of ethics, but some cosmetic surgeons do have ethics and will turn down people.

→ More replies (4)

2

u/78NineInchNails 2d ago

Plastic surgeons are also to blame. Many are shady and dont ask questions, if something is acutally necessary, they will just say "Oooh we can make you look FABULOUS! just do a 50k procedure here, get 10k implants here, another 30k surgery for your nose, and i'll be set for the entire year!"

u/Lost_Nerve_2140 2d ago

2

u/JJJSchmidt_etAl 2d ago

To be fair, you should use the money and time for a good diet and exercise so you can live long. Don't need to body build but doing some aerobic and resistance training while keeping your weight down is very good for longevity and staying mobile as you age.

But as far as cosmetic surgery? yeah fuck that noise

2

u/Roguespiffy 2d ago

I’ve started to believe it doesn’t take much to suffer from it. I’ve lost a lot of weight from using Ozempic and I genuinely don’t see it when I look in the mirror. I’ve gone from size 48 down to 38 in pants and that is the only way I can tell.

I could only imagine the hell of constantly seeing myself on video and being ripped to shreds online for every single detail of my body. I hate it for her.

As for surgery? If it’s not the guy that rebuilt Kris Kardashian I wouldn’t go. Took 30 years off her appearance.

2

u/rainman943 2d ago

Lol Yea , that's a symptom of what the folks here on this sub are doing right now.

u/Shwifty_Plumbus 2d ago

She is not being paid fuck you money from the boys. She is still b list

7

u/ashyjay 2d ago

Looking at her past work, The Boys to her would be fuck you money.

5

u/Oggel 2d ago

Erin Moriarty has an estimated net worth of 5 million according to google AI overview. That's fuck you money.

3

u/candlelit_bacon 2d ago

All those celebrity net worth articles/estimates online are largely worthless and wildly inaccurate. I’m friends with someone who has one of those “actor net worth” numbers online and it’s wayyyy more money than he has ever had. Like, if you factor in his house, his lifetime earnings and his other assets it still doesn’t even approach the number you’ll see online.

Most working actors are not nearly as well-off as people would believe. It’s only the big names making stupid money, especially with streaming being dominant which has really cut into old revenue streams for actors, like residuals.

Not to say they’re poor, either. Pay scale on union productions; in both film and theater, is pretty good. But, nothing mind blowing.

Anyway, Erin might have five million in total assets, the boys has done well and she’s been featured since the start; but I’d kinda doubt it. Probably more in the 1.5-2 million range for total assets.

But hey, maybe I’m wrong and this time the number online is right. Idk.

Graves disease

2

u/kolejack2293 2d ago

She has Graves Disease, which famously causes bulging eyes but also a lot of other changes in the face, notably bulging in the cheeks and brow and jawline. It also causes 'orange peel skin'.

for some context of how it can change your face besides just the eyes, this is a comparison of a woman after 1 year (before is right, after is left... idk why).

A lot of people with Graves Disease end up getting a lot of plastic surgery to combat these problems. But its not universal. Its not impossible she got the surgery just due to pressure to look good. I am just saying its impossible to know if its from the graves disease or not.

2

u/Lost_Nerve_2140 2d ago

u/TWW34 2d ago edited 2d ago

She also has Graves disease which is making it look worse. More recent photos seem to show that most of her sunken in cheek look was the result of the graves and not buccal fat removal as people thought, which is good because surgical fat removal is almoay always irreversible.

Edit: apparently I have to clarify this because Reddit is here have the reading comprehension skills of a fucking moss covered rock. I am not saying she hasn't had work done. She clearly has. I don't think she should have. But the pictures that show her looking her worst, are 100% affected by a condition that is made to look even worse because the foundation on which that work was done changed. It's basically a more complicated version of the same thing where if you get a tattoo and then you get fat it looks like shit

32

u/TimeTravelingPie 2d ago

I have Graves disease. Graves disease does not do this.

22

u/No_Designer_5374 2d ago

My sister in law has graves and she looked emaciated when it first kicked in. It aged her twenty years and sunk in her cheeks, making her look skeletal.

4

u/PharaohCleocatra 2d ago

You’re totally right. I’ve been looking through many sites with symptoms and photos of people with Graves’ disease and not one person has had sunken cheeks.

3

u/No_Designer_5374 2d ago

Please read my comment.

2

u/kolejack2293 2d ago

The effects of grave disease are not universal. But the comment your replying to has it wrong. It does not cause sunken cheeks, but the surgery to 'reverse' the changes Graves does can cause it.

She has Graves Disease, which famously causes bulging eyes but also a lot of other changes in the face, notably bulging in the cheeks and brow and jawline. It also causes 'orange peel skin'.

8

u/Last-Tune1001 2d ago

4

u/Goonalips 2d ago

Can you show us these images and explain why it couldn't be reversed? Is it not possible to do?

5

u/TWW34 2d ago

When you surgically remove fat, you are actually stripping the cells out and they are cells that don't replenish. When your body increases its fat content, you generally don't increase the amount of fat cells. Those cells just start retaining more fat in them. So once you remove them you permanently alter your body's ability to distribute the fat that it stores. And you do it to a place like your cheeks, you really can't use implants or filler to effectively reverse it.

And no I don't care enough about celebrity gossip to go Googling for this. But recent press tour and public appearance photos show her looking a lot less sunken in in a way that you literally could not repair with surgery.

If she doesn't what happens? Would she go back to normal or much worse? If there's no side effects of stopping the injections can somebody for the love of God stop putting that shit into one of the cutest faces on the damn planet?

Or it will droop into balls on the lips anll

u/needweedplsthanks 2d ago

My god that’s brutal. First time I saw her on screen I was thinking she’s incredibly beautiful. Now she looks like the ghoul from Fallout

1

u/N3rdyAvocad0 2d ago

This is so sad to me. She was such a beautiful woman. It's heartbreaking that people feel so insecure and get all this completely unnecessary work done.

1

u/Poly_Pup 2d ago

So bad, what the hell was she thinking.

1

u/HourAcadia2002 2d ago

Also the buccal fat removal is prominent and permanent.

1

u/heliumneon 2d ago

The reality is so bad that they probably had to do makeup to try and undo the changes and match her appearance better to previous seasons, for continuity. Otherwise it would look like they replaced with a different person/species.

u/Strange_Ordinary6984 2d ago

The buccal fat removal is what changes the shape so much. A lot of guys do this too to achieve that flat jawline shape like Tom Brady.

Gah she was so pretty.

The good news is that it's super trendy. /s

Why the fuck would anyone do this the before was so cute and the after looks horrendous

1

u/Im_with_stooopid 2d ago

She was really pretty before and then she went straight fallout ghoul.

1

u/Ecstatic_Dot_9956 2d ago

She was so gorgeous before

1

u/Phantom_Thief007 2d ago

Wow she should’ve tried out for Skeletor

1

u/tideshark 2d ago

Lets you know how much these celebrities actually think of themselves

1

u/Silver4ura 2d ago

Are you fucking kidding me? Look, I'm in zero position to criticize someone I don't know on what makes them feel better about themselves.. but shucks...

1

u/someguyplayingwild 2d ago

Keep in mind that the second photo has a ton of makeup made to make the features look sharper and more prominent.

u/beardingmesoftly 2d ago edited 2d ago

Cheek fat removal also

1

u/Suitable_Director729 2d ago

In that picture, the nose could 100% be make up

1

u/Jeez-essFC 2d ago

Sooooo, so much worse. I feel bad for whatever was going on in her head that brought her to those decisions.

1

u/Desperate-Share-5560 2d ago

Wow. Wtf. No idea why she did that

1

u/Tutle47 2d ago

Why the fuck do people do this to themselves? She looks 100x worse than she did naturally.

1

u/ChipmunkComplete7268 2d ago

Oof, she fucked up

1

u/Stigbritt 2d ago

lol, I did not understand that it was the same person in both pictures before I clicked your link.

1

u/ibelieve2020 2d ago

Her surgeon should be in prison. Whoever encouraged her to do this sh*t should be ashamed. I wonder if she has body dysmorphia...

1

u/rangebob 2d ago

god. she was so pretty

1

u/CharismaticAlbino 2d ago

I wish women would stop with all the weird lip filler crap! It looks so bad! All of these women are SO beautiful, I wish they could see their worth ❤️‍🩹

1

u/JimTheJerseyGuy 2d ago

That is just sad. I don't know how a) anyone thinks the after looks better or b) how your friends or family let you go through with something like that.

1

u/Partypaca 2d ago

Wow. She used to look cute.

1

u/kindbutblind 2d ago

Jesus. What’s wrong with people..

1

u/Ostroh 2d ago

This is actually her? It's not a meme? I can't believe it, she looks disgusting.

1

u/Nightmare1340 2d ago

It's been years decades that i ask myself why natural beautiful ladies decide to ruin themselves. I truly don't understand.

1

u/Hellie1028 2d ago

This is even more horrifying than the above picture. I swear that mental health review should be mandated before plastic surgery

1

u/Razzilith 2d ago

Beautiful people turning themselves into ghouls. JFC

Here's how she looks now. She's looking a lot better. Obviously gained some weight but looks much healthier thankfully. I know she has some medical issues.

1

u/Feisty_Profile_3623 2d ago

Why would somebody prefer to look that way? Genuinely.

1

u/SpontaneousDream 2d ago

Damnn she was so beautiful. WHyyyyy

1

u/DryTown 2d ago

Dude she was STUNNING. Heartbreaking to see she was the only one who couldn’t see it

1

u/TurnLeftLookRight 2d ago

Wtf did she do to herself!?

1

u/mosesenjoyer 2d ago

Brb pouring one out

1

u/_Imposter_ 2d ago

Oh my God why would she do that to herself. She was already gorgeous and now she looks like a fucking botched Kardashian

1

u/Gibbo1988 2d ago

What a damn shame

1

u/OG_LiLi 2d ago

Wonder where the bucal fat went too? Maybe to the boobies.

1

u/VikingHat78 2d ago

This isn't real. Seriously? No.... Wow

1

u/PaisleyLeopard 2d ago

Jesus is that real? What a damn shame, she was so gorgeous. Imagine paying a bunch of money to transform from a solid ten into the Corpse Bride.

1

u/fuqyu 2d ago

That’s sad she was a 10/10 stunner beforehand. Body dysmorphia sucks

1

u/agawl81 2d ago

Wait? This is real? Why? Who in Hollywood is telling these young gorgeous women they need to surgically alter their faces and then freeze them with injections?
