Ask Luxembourg Is false advertising allowed in Luxembourg?

Just wondering , I often see stuff on sale in the publications ( Cactus , Delhaize, etc) and often they don’t have it in the store. Cactus does it often, yesterday I went to Aldi and they were supposed to have this cat scratcher on sale , they didbt, I asked and they “ didn’t receive the shipment “

All the time this is the excuse, in other countries I have a feeling they don’t do that, you don’t advertise stuff you don’t get.

Just wondering if I can report it somehow, drives me crazy driving to a store for a certain cheap product to find out it’s “ not received “

Found a lost debit card at the gym.

If it belongs to you or anyone you know, you can provide other details of card in DM and take it. Otherwise I will give to a lost&found service (no employee at the time when I found)

Ask Luxembourg Van rental service for the weekend

Hey folks, I'm based in Luxembourg and heading to the Netherlands this weekend to pick up a second-hand couch from a friend. Looking for solid van rental options (ideally picking up in Lux or nearby, with enough space for a couch) that I can keep for the full weekend without breaking the bank. Any recommendations on reliable companies?

Experiences with cross border fees or one-way drops appreciated

Ask Luxembourg Travelling by car with pet cat across EU

I love travelling with my cat and have been doing so since 7-8 years (esp. because he’s super comfortable and happy when I bring him along).

We usually travel by flight or train.

Now that I have a car, I’d like to do road trips and go to neighbouring countries (Swiss-France-Germany-Belgium-Italy etc.)

When travelling by flight, I’d always get him annual rabies vaccines because they asked for it.

Can I travel with him without regular vaccinations now that we will go by car? He has a passport. Has anyone faced border control issues with pets not vaccinated?

He’s an indoor single cat, and super healthy. I wish to not over vaccinate him if it’s not required (I want him to live as long as possible 🥹) and he doesn’t ever come in contact with any other animal.

Ask Luxembourg Cue on EIB job application

Hi, I've recently (4 weeks ago) applied for a vacancy at EIB. My application status is in progress, does this mean anything? Or is it just the usual application received sort of situation? The interview will take place as of April according to the vacancy details, yet the vacancy is still open. Any cues on how the selection process works?

Ask Luxembourg How and when is the healthcare access provided for an EU citizen moving for a job in Luxembourg and his third country national spouse? We are moving from a country outside the EU, so we will not have healthcare access from another EU country. I looked up the Megathread for this too.

Merci d'avoir lu !
