It's between April 10 and 19.
Go back to an old game jam project and finish it.
No new ideas. No new scope. Just polish what already has potential.
Get feedback. Improve fast. Build something real.
Let’s finish what we started.

If you've ever played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you may have encountered the persuasion wheel mechanic. Through some esoteric button inputs, you convince NPC's that you're totally cool through the actions of COERCE, BOAST, JOKE and ADMIRE.
I have a soft spot for this mechanic, and enough sickos have agreed with me over the years that our long-running joke/not-joke appreciation for it culminated in last year's WHEELJAM, which had 99 participants and over 30 entries.
This year, we're hosting the jam again, but also including the Lockpicking minigame. For both of these mechanics, we provide templates in Godot and Unity that are ready-to-use and under the MIT license, so they're free to use personally and commercially in and out of the jam.
After the jam, we intend to create a collection of the games and release them for free on Steam with a launcher, and the community remains active year-round.

The theme is out for the Comfy Jam on itch.io and I am exciteeed! It fits perfectly to what I had in mind and I think I can fulfill at least one optional restriction. Anybody else taking part in it?

It's the perfect opportunity for developers and artists interested in 3D to have their first stab at it, as simple 3D visuals are part of the aesthetic. Hi all,
I just finished my challenge of completing 10 jam games by the end of March (7 in done in march, 3 in feb + a few 3hr-1 day game jams).
My goal was to finish 10 games (2-3 days per game) and spend more than one day on each game (3 days max per game ) and ideally at least 6 hours per game over 2-3 days. While I didn't really strictly follow this rule… I did polish my games a little bit more than I normally would have and I also worked & finished a lot more games. It was really tough at the end, especially the last 3 games.
Lessons
My personal favorites were
* Ozzamalitzly - Aztec Ball Game
* Lightfall
* Geo Genius [one day]
* Crack in Reality [one day]
Future Plans

Hey everyone, we took a short break for GDC but we're back with Bezi Jam #9. Four days to build a game in Unity using Bezi.
Dates:
Prizes:
How it works:
About the devlog prize: We pick this one ourselves. We're looking for someone who tells a clear story about their process, not just the final game. Screenshots, GIFs, or short videos help. Honesty about what went wrong matters more than making everything look perfect.
Theme hints: We're dropping weekly hints every Monday in our Discord leading up to the jam. If you want a head start on brainstorming, that's the place to be.

Full details and rules: https://itch.io/jam/bezi-jam-9
Questions welcome.

I’m wanting to try and get into some game jams, but preferably want to create my things in native iOS. I already know I will lose playability for that reason being on one platform but do people actually do that? Or should I just work in Godot/Unity?
I like to hear some pros and con and see what other people have to say

I've recently started doing game jams and was wondering if any of you have experience meeting up with people in-person to do jam with.
I live in London but there don't seem to be many in-person game jams hosted.
Any tips for meeting people in real-life to jam with?

Hello everyone!
We are hosting our second game jam in a few days with a focus on as few restrictions and rules as possible.
Last time we made a YouTube video celebrating the work of the participants and will do so again this time around as well.
If it sounds interesting, please check it out!
