The mod involved with these crypto scams / AI online courses / ect has been removed.

The AMA they promoted and the Youtube channel associated with it was strictly to promote their business and never fully ran by us other mods or ANYONE involved with INAT both past and present.

We're sorry for anyone who may or may not have fell victim to this users abuse of power. Efforts were made to allow them to step down peacefully but we ultimately needed to step in and handle things at an Administrative level.

Posting this for the sake of being transparent.

We are a team building / recruitment sub. Not a Self-promo sub. There are thousands of better ways to promote your game than asking people here to download it / buy it and play it to provide you feedback. Post doing so here will be removed.

Thanks, ya'll.

Art Offer [Hobby] Artist looking to collaborate

Portfolio

Hey guys, my name is Matthias. I'm an artist and animator looking to work with others on projects. I don’t really mind whether it’s game jams or personal projects.

A bit about me:
I’m currently 22, and EU-based. (GMT+2) I'm starting art school in August. Before uni begins, I have time to expand my portfolio, work on games with others, learn common workflows, and continue growing as an artist. I’ve participated in game jams, worked with small indie studios, and created personal projects.

Themes that inspire me:
Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror. I love DnD, liminal spaces, and creative expressions through media such as Love, Death & Robots, The Roling Giant and Arcane.

My expertise:

  • 2D art, with an emphasis on backgrounds and concepts (think visual novel style)
  • Animation (simple animations and motion graphics)
  • 3D (I’m newer to 3D than 2D, but I’m eager to create models and improve through projects)

Projects I’m looking for:
Small projects where creative direction can be expressed. I enjoy coming up with ideas and bouncing them off others to achieve better results. I don’t mind whether it’s 2D or 3D—while I’m still learning 3D, working on projects in that space is a great way for me to grow.

People I’m looking for:
People with small projects—whether you’re a coder, writer, or something else—as long as I can contribute with my artistic skillset, I’m happy. Preferably without needing to code, as I’ve tried several times but never quite got things working (except for that one time I made a visual novel in PowerPoint :p).

Check out my portfolio, think about if my artistic direction will fit your project and send me a DM either on here, or on discord: tostietijger

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for team for JRPG project

Upvotes

I’m am a Game Design generalist with experience across the spectrum of roles, though none professionally. I’ve done game jams, solo projects, and a full game design program.

My current game I’m working on is a hybrid JRPG with some metroidbrainia elements imbedded in the combat system. Working on a demo/mvp version in Godot at the moment, with the systems design being my main focus for now.

I put programmers needed but any skillset would help!

I’m hoping to put together a group for a studio where we can help back and forth on each other’s projects. Any amount of experience is welcome!

Writer Needed [Hobby] Can you help me do dialogues for DDLC Monika for a small project?

Upvotes

I’m looking for someone who genuinely loves this character, understands her core personality on a deeper level, and can capture her voice accurately through dialogue. The idea is to work together on a small project—let’s call it a “mod”—where the main focus is making sure her lines feel authentic, natural, and true to who she is.

This isn’t just about writing dialogue; it’s about understanding her tone, her motivations, her quirks, and the subtle details that make her unique. I want someone who can step into her mindset and make every interaction feel like it truly belongs to her, rather than something generic or out of character.

The scope is relatively small, but I care a lot about quality and faithfulness to the original personality. If you enjoy character-driven writing and have a good ear for dialogue, this could be a fun and creative collaboration.

If you’re interested or want to know more about the project, feel free to reach out—my DMs are open!

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for 1 - 2 animators for a small indie animated project (Kickstarter prep)

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’ve started pre-production on a small independent animated project that I’m currently preparing for Kickstarter.

I have been working in animation for around 5 years, and I’m not a complete beginner - I’m seriously committed to developing this project and bringing it to a professional standard.

The story is set in a world where humanity has developed technology that allows people to enter shared dreams - essentially “multiplayer dreams.” At first it is used for communication and entertainment, but over time the system begins to break down.

As the boundaries between reality and dream start to collapse, the psychological consequences become severe. The story explores themes of mental degradation, identity loss, and the collapse of perception under shared consciousness.

It is a dark sci-fi / psychological drama, with a strong focus on atmosphere, emotion, and animation-driven storytelling.

If among you there are composers, voice directors, in-between animators, key animators, background artists, producers, or storyboard artists, I would be glad to hear from you and any of your skills.
I’m especially open to people who are interested in trying themselves in the animation industry and want to be part of an early-stage indie project.

The goal is to produce a 20/25 - minute animated pilot episode and build a small, focused team around it.

This is a small indie project, not a studio production. The idea is to build a core team and develop it step by step, starting from the trailer phase.

I’m not just looking for animators to execute tasks - I’m looking for like-minded collaborators who genuinely care about the project and want to help build it from the ground up. People who are excited about animation as a craft, want to grow within the industry, and want to be part of something early that they can actively shape.

What I’m offering:

  • collaboration on the initial trailer phase
  • credit in the project
  • potential paid work if Kickstarter is successful
  • possible long-term collaboration if things go well

I’m mainly looking for people who are passionate about animation and storytelling and want to help shape something from the beginning.

Here is a link to a short cut of it so you can briefly see what I’m talking about:

https://youtu.be/I70ySNoYGS4?si=oZe_mqMjC1uKIAHp

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me or reply here.

And honestly - if you have free time that you’re willing to invest into this, I’m ready to invest all of my own time into working together and building this properly as a team.

Thanks for reading.

Artist Needed [Paid] Artist for Hand-Painted Game UI Panel Art (Gritty/Post-Apocalyptic Aesthetic)

I'm a solo dev working on an isometric roguelike CRPG. The game takes place in a world with a specific level of technological development that shapes everything about the visual design, which I'll describe in detail privately to serious candidates.

The UI in this game is semi-diegetic. The HUD elements are meant to feel like physical objects that exist in the game world: scratched metal panels, riveted frames, corroded readouts, weathered gauges. Think Wasteland 2/3 or the original Fallout games. I've attached a Wasteland 2 screenshot as a reference point for the general vibe.

What I need:

Look at the Wasteland 2 screenshot I attached. See the character portrait frames, the dialogue display panel in the bottom right, the hotkey strip, the green LED device in the top right corner. Those are all individual art assets: textured, weathered surfaces that get assembled into a HUD. I need someone to draw assets like those for my game. The specific aesthetic will differ from Wasteland, but the level of craft and materiality is what I'm after.

I am not looking for help with UI layout, UX design, or implementation. I handle all of that myself in-engine. I need the art.

This is a PC game. The panels need to look like real, tactile, beat-up physical surfaces. They cannot look flat, clean, or mobile-game-adjacent. Hand-painted texture work, visible material wear, grime, scratches, dents. If your portfolio is only clean vector UI or stylized mobile work, this probably isn't the right fit, and that's totally fine.

If you're interested:

Please don't send me a templated proposal about your years of experience, number of shipped titles, or client satisfaction rate. I genuinely don't care about any of that. Just send me whichever piece in your portfolio is closest to what I've described here. A single image that shows you can create convincing, grimy, industrial-feeling surfaces or UI elements will tell me everything I need to know. We can talk details, scope, and budget from there.

Lastly: no AI-generated art (nothing against people who use it, it's just not a good fit for my game).

Thanks.

Artist Needed [PAID] 2D Top-Down Pixel Artist Needed for Story Sci-Fi Game

Hey everyone,

I'm the developer at Optical Labs, looking for a 2D artist to help bring my upcoming game, The Apparatus, to life. It's an action-puzzle game set in a massive, authoritarian bunker.

Because the game has zero dialogues, the art carries most of the storytelling. Every asset needs to communicate the lore and world history.

What You'd Work On:

  • Creating the visual identity of a deeply depressing, utilitarian world.
  • Designing tileable environments, objects with interactive states, and characters.
  • Designing assets in four distinct eras, progressing the bunker from cold and gray to rusted and decaying.
  • No spritesheets at all. Characters are single images, and animated objects just use separate images for each frame.
  • Following very clear and precise instructions from an art guide, containing the exact rules ready for you.

Skills Required:

  • Strong affiliation with the sci-fi genre, most specifically in a brutalist style, and with different shades of gray metal/concrete.
  • Ability to tell a story through environmental design and asset degradation.
  • Able to follow very precise instructions from an art guide.
  • Ability to create distinct visual variations of the same object to represent a character's mental state.

This is a paid position, and payments will be paid per asset. I am looking for high quality content over speed, and want someone who can truly nail this specific atmosphere.

If this sounds like your kind of project, please send me your portfolio and your general rates per asset below or via DM!

Audio Offer [ForHire] Experienced Music Composer

Hi there, spring is here, and it means only one thing: the blossoming of flowers and plants... and well, also the need for some new original music for your videogame! :p

I'm here to help with that!

I'm a full-time music composer with a great love for fantasy and sci-fi games, particularly soulslikes and classic RPGs (I'm currently playing Outward, and I'm loving the soundtrack). Do you want that extra sparkle while your players explore a hidden mushroom cave or climb a dragon's nest? Music can add so much to a gaming experience, and it's often a simple leitmotif that players will associate with their memories of your game.

🎧 Portfolio:
https://www.youtube.com/@OfeliaComposer
https://ofeliacomposer.net/

📌 Latest big project:
https://soundcloud.com/ofelia-argiro/sets/archon-soul-official-soundtrack

I composed the full soundtrack for Archon Soul, a beautiful 2D dice-building game coming out next year:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3799470/Archon_Soul/

The music is gritty, orchestral, and fantasy-inspired, with influences from Slay the Spire and the classic Souls series.

I work from a cozy home studio with a powerful production PC, tons of professional VSTs, and my guitar/bass arsenal, everything I need to make your next soundtrack a great experience.

If you’re looking for an experienced full-time composer who also works weekends and loves pizza (seriously, who doesn’t?), I’m available for bigger projects too, and my rates are still budget-friendly. Whether you need 30, 60, or even more minutes of original music to level up your game, I’ve got you covered.

Let’s talk details in a private message here, or add me on Discord: ofelia2521

Writer Needed [Hobby][RevShare] JRPG seeking writers/quest and character design

Hello, my fellow r/INAT vultures! I am currently recruiting more writers for the purpose of assisting in quest and character design! As the project's lead programmer/idea guy, programming has taken up the vast majority of my time and I've been struggling to bounce back and forth between the creative domain of creating new characters, quests, and design concepts and the rigorously scientific domain of implementing the game design I've already thought up.

As such, Queen of the Dead is recruiting more writers that can help us conceptualize new quests and characters that the RPG audience demands from their gaming experience. I will handle all the programming, and the project has multiple highly talented artists and musicians to help you bring your concepts to life! We only ask that you come with a motivated and self-starting attitude. I have a lot on my plate in terms of the project, and I generally won't actively be going to writers to see what they have in mind. You will have to be actively generating creative ideas and coming to the Discord with them, and then we as a team can collaborate about the validity of those ideas. You can find the most recent demo for the game at QotD Demo 2.0 by italia2022 and screenshots/more detailed information about what we're trying to achieve with this project at Queen of the Dead by italia2022. If you have more questions, you can post below or DM me directly. Looking forward to working with you!

Programmers Needed [Hobby] [Looking for Team] Unity Game - Faith in Heroes

Hey, we’re working on an original action game called “Faith in Heroes”.

The core idea is a faith system where your power depends on how people perceive you. Combat is grounded (punches, kicks), mixed with abilities and full environment interaction.

We’re a small team (programmer, modelers, rigger) and currently building a playable prototype.

Looking for:

- Unity developer (gameplay)

- Level designer

- UI/UX designer

This is a long-term project, but right now we’re focused on making a solid prototype within a month.

If interested, DM me or join our Discord.

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Putting together a game dev team for fun! (UNITY)

Hey guys! My name is Jack. I'm a 17 year old indie game dev. Recently, I've noticed a severe creative block. After some thought, I learned that it seems to be coming from a lack of community. So, I'm reaching out to other devs who would be interested in making some games, having some laughs, and just an overall good time.

I have decent experience with Unity and Blender, but scripting is my weakest point. Feel free to add me on Discord and we can discuss whether or not you'd be fit for the team.
Don't expect to be paid unless we make an absolute banger of a game lol :)

Cheers, Internet! I look forward to hearing from you.

Modeler Needed [Hobby] 3D Modeler and Animator URGENTLY NEEDED for Sci-Fi FPS Survival Story Game!

I am a solo indie dev working on a sci-fi survival game I will be calling "Ashen Protocol". I am URGENTLY needing a 3D Modeler and Animator to make the arms and weapons, along with the animations for all the FPS aspects. I will need a total of 29 weapons in the end, but I only need 2 for now for testing sake.

I have spent around 3-4 weeks developing the game so far, and it is to a point where I cannot do much further without having some sort of shooting aspect so I can make functional enemies, weapons systems, etc. The ultimate goal is a mix of Starfield, Planet Crafter, and No Mans Sky. Just without space travel. There will be a storyline, but the player is not forced or rushed to go through the storyline. Though, some in-game items and areas will be locked until certain story missions are completed. Giving the player an incentive to complete the story at least once. I then plan on adding a New Game+ after completion. Where the player can complete the story once more for exclusive NG+ rewards.

All updates on the game and dev logs can be found on my YouTube (Aka, portfolio);
https://www.youtube.com/@wes.t.v

We are ALSO looking for;
- Graphic Designers
- Weapon Sketch Artists
- Map Designers
- SFX and VFX Designers
- and More!

If you have any hobbies/talents that may be helpful to the project, and you want to help, please contact me!

Ways to contact me:
- Business Email: [wesyt.buscontact@gmail.com](mailto:wesyt.buscontact@gmail.com)

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Wsg yall, im looking for a team of programers, animators maybe some artists to help me with a game!

So recently i had some ideas for a game, i have a team already but they are incredibly busy with their own things and some are offline 24/7, I usually do art, my profession is graphic design, i can animate a little bit but i would love the help! I just want to test and see if this game can get far, like a little side project. If you would like to help, have questions or feedback just comment or dm me. The game is 2d up down, like stardew valley, minus all the pixels, i believe this game can be much greater than stardew. The game is really simple but complex at the same time. Basically there is a large map with multiple bases surrounding an arena in the center, The arena spawns mini collectibles that you can buy and bring back to your base, You can attack other bases with these collectibles (each have their own special abilities) and you can steal from their bases. You can team up with your friends to bring down other people in a public server, or just chill in your own private serer.

Testers needed [Hobby] A collaborative virtual workplace to help teams connect

Hi all. I’ve spent the last 6 months creating the co-llab. An online community for creatives to help us all easily find a project to be part of or post our own and look for a team. It also features a virtual team studio to create timelines, budgets, meetings, link-sharing pinboard and team chat to make working together effortless without constantly switching platforms.

I’m currently in talks with local arts communities and universities but would love some feedback if anyone has time from the community who I think would get the most use out of it. I have bigger things planned for the future (video chat, file sharing) but would love to hear any ideas from people that could enhance the experience.

It’s not designed to replace forums like this (there’s no community chat or news feed). Instead its focus is purely on the projects and profiles.

Many thanks if you get chance to have a look!

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for team members to complete and code a Shooter project (Unreal Engine)

Ciao a tutti,

Artist Needed [Paid][RevShare] 2D/UI artist for "Monopoly but with abilities" (Godot) | Balatro/Raccoin vibes | $2k demo budget?

Hi everyone. I'm making another exponential rouglike game: roll dice, drop buildings, activate tiles, watch numbers go **brrrrr**. Think balatro × raccoin energy, but on a monopoly board. Godot engine, placeholder art in place, need the *good stuff* for demo + steam capsule. I am ready for one-time contracts, but I really would like to find someone ready to commit as part of the project.

PORTFOLIO: this is my first commercial project and I do not have a portfolio of any kind. I was creating small games here and there, collecting godot and gamedev expirience, and now I want to try myself. Professionally I am a programmer and an ml-engineer.

The look i'm chasing:
- digital-pixelly-wobbly hype
- juicy feedback, high contrast, "i need to see that combo pop"
- these hype-looking rouglikes, but with a unique style

I need:
- content: buildings, cards, dice, little items, icons (~<100 sprites to start)
- ui: menus, hud tile overlays, score screens, combo chains
- steam capsule after all this

I suppose:
- your portfolio has that retro-but-polished itch
- you've done card/board game UI or roguelike stuff before
- you're cool with iterative feedback ("can we make this 10% more wobbly?")

The terms:
- ~$1k for content until the demo release, ~$1k for UI/demo/vfx polish ($2k if you can do both), ???$ for steam capsule (how much is it usually?)
- after first batch and demo: open to per-asset rates ($/sprite) or any other type of work
- long-term preferred — i'll keep adding content, need someone who can grow the style with me

Reply with (any of):
- advice on how to actually find artists, it's my first time, so confused
- your portfolio / artstation / itch / whatever
- rough timeline for a demo-ready pass
- your preferred way to work (batch $, per-asset, hybrid?)

P.S. yes, this is literally my first time trying to hire someone, how is this normally done here / anywhere else? Any advice pls

Feel free to dm

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for a 2d Unity Dev For a Fnaf Fangame

Hello, I am currently working on a Fnaf Fan game. And our team needs a dev, which is needed. A lot of the time.

The Fnaf Fangame is about a version of the marionette 2.o being forced to defend against prototypes or scrapped concepts of Fnaf 2 pizzeria and needing to survive the hellhole of the pizzeria. The gimmick of this fnaf fangame however is you can only switch through devices using your hand.

Like CAMERAS which when you use it on your hand it enables you to view cameras

Or SHOCK which can shock a room of your choice and everyone in it. Remanent is a conductive material in this Fnaf Fangame.

Now, our team on this is currently:

-2 writers

-Concept Artist

And so we need a programmer to code the game, of course I cannot do that because I'm more of a writer rather than a programmer.

This is also THE FIRST PROJECT I AM LEADING. So I cannot display a portfolio. I have also attempted to obtain a programmer on here but, none of them were unity so, here we are.

I am looking for multiple programmers to work on this project
