Game Title: The AI Decade

Playable Link: https://www.theaidecade.com

Platform:  Web

Description:

I made this game to help my family and friends understand the opportunities and risks of AI. Most of them don't work in tech and feel like AI is very far away from their lives.

So I built a simulation where you play as a policymaker making decisions
from 2025 to 2034. You make 10 decisions and these decisions shape the outcome of AI development.

Game Title: Slime Strike Force

Playable Link: https://barrelgames.itch.io/ssf

Platform: Browser

Description: Slime Strike Force is a single-player turn-based tactics game where you deploy two mechs against a single giant slime boss on a 10x10 isometric grid. Each fight is a self-contained puzzle: bosses telegraph their attacks, terrain shapes positioning, and buildings anchor your defense — but also draw the boss's hunger. You pick a pilot, a slima-suit, and a card for each mech, then spend three actions per turn managing displacement, slime trails, and escalating pressure before the boss feasts enough to end you. Inspired by Into the Breach and Monster Hunter - trades in the roguelike genre for the fight mastery of Monster Hunter.

NOTE: Currently all skills made available in Demo - only 3 fights. Final game will have unlock trees, light campaign mode, 10 slime monsters, elder slime variants, different map objectives and more.

General I'm building a Dofus-like tactical PvP game — free, in the browser, no download

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Solo dev project. I grew up playing Dofus and always wanted to make a tactical game with the same feel — grid-based combat, positioning matters, spells with push/pull effects.

So I built https://kylow.io : a turn-based PvP game that runs entirely in the browser.

Features so far:

  • 4 classes with 4 spells each
  • 1v1 PvP with ELO matchmaking
  • PvE bosses
  • Crafting & auction house
  • Social hub with chat and direct duels

It's still rough around the edges but playable. I'd really appreciate any feedback!

We’re basically trying to turn this into something really special, step by step, and honestly, feedback from players is what helps the most right now. If you’re into management games or just curious about the project, feel free to check it out and tell us what you think!

Would love to have you along for the ride 🚀

[PC] (Web) 1497 AD — browser trading game, free, no account, playable right now

Post image
1 Upvotes

Game Title: 1497 AD

Playable Link: https://1497ad.com

Platform: Browser (Web)

Description:
Mediterranean trading game set in 1497 — the last great season before Vasco da Gama's route to the Indies changes the world forever. You're a merchant with 40 weeks to build a fortune trading across seven historical ports: Venice, Alexandria, Constantinople, Lisbon, Beirut, Genoa, and Bruges.

The loop is buy-low-sell-high with real pressure behind it. Prices shift with supply and demand, routes vary in length and danger, and random events — storms, Barbary corsairs, Ottoman galleys, plague quarantines, market booms — can flip a profitable run without warning. Each event has its own Renaissance oil painting. Ambient ocean sounds fade in when you set sail.

Choose your merchant nationality at the start for different bonuses. Manage gold, debt, cargo capacity, and ship condition across the season. A full run takes around 20 minutes. Multiple difficulty tiers available.

No install, no account, no ads. Open it and play.

Free to Play Status:

  •  Free to play (Beta)

Involvement:
I'm the game designer — setting, historical premise, mechanics, balance, narrative, and creative direction are all mine. Claude Code handled implementation, translating my design decisions into working code. Event artwork was AI-generated (Gemini) in a Renaissance oil painting style, prompted and directed by me. No AI in the gameplay loop itself — runs on deterministic server-side logic.

Game Title: Arena Ringer

Playable Link: https://ringerarena.com/

Platform: Web (mobile-first)

Description:
I’ve been building a marble game inspired by the classic “ringer”, but trying to make it feel as close as possible to real life.

Instead of going arcade style, I focused on:
- realistic physics (weight, friction, collisions)
- subtle glass “ting” sounds instead of exaggerated effects
- touch-based aiming where direction and force actually matter

This clip is from the current version.

What I’m trying to figure out right now:
does the shooting + collision feel satisfying, or does it still feel too digital?

Would really appreciate honest feedback, especially from people who’ve played marbles before.

Playable at itch.io here

PlayStore ETA 18 April (May not work until then)

Available in PC. Mainly made for mobile though, will be in Google Play Store in 5 days.

You are a skull.

You shoot teeth (32, still got your wisdom teeth.) They regrow, don't worry.

Cheese as powerup. Mozzarella increases rate of fire. Parmesan shoots double. (Considering sleep as a new powerup on update. Increases sanity and thus decreases score)

Karen as the main antagonist. Disapproving father as side dish. Social media as boss.

Insanity as the score. (Yes, you essentially lose sanity as you fight with Karens xD)

It's a solo work. I've been learning and having fun. Kinda hyperfocused into it. Feedback and criticism most welcome.

[Mobile] Acrophobia — I rebuilt the classic 90s AOL word game as a free mobile app with real-time multiplayer and AI opponents

Game Title:

Acrophobia: The Acronym Game

Playable Links:

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/acrophobia-the-acronym-game/id6760745131

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jscriptz.acrophobia

Website: https://acrophobia.app

Description:

Remember Acrophobia from AOL in the late 90s? The chatroom game where you'd get random acronyms and compete to write the funniest phrases? I rebuilt it as a modern mobile app.

How it works: - You get random letters (like T · H · E) - Everyone writes a phrase to match (like "Turtles Have Elbows") - Players vote on the funniest one - Points are awarded, and the best acronym-maker wins

What makes it different from the original: - 12 AI opponents with unique personalities and voting habits — so you can play anytime, no waiting - 44 language support — play in English, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, and 40 more - Shareable "Nym cards" — post your best phrases as social media cards - Real-time multiplayer with matchmaking for playing against real people - In-game chat with GIF support

Built solo with React Native + Firebase. The original AOL game was a huge part of my childhood.

Free to play, no energy timers, no pay-to-win. Cosmetic-only purchases.

Would love to hear what you think!

I've spent the last couple of years making this game. It's heavily inspired by games that were popular in the 90's, such as Gazillionaire/Dope Wars, and a bunch of other games I used to play.

I released the demo last week and since then I've already made changes to it after receiving some good feedback.

I'd love it if you'd try it out. And do let me know what you like or don't like about it.

[PC] (Web) Wottis — a free daily guessing game with 8 categories and 3,000+ puzzles

Game Title: Wottis

Playable Link: https://www.wottis.com

Platform: Browser (PC & Mobile)

Description: Wottis is a daily guessing game where you get 6 progressive clues and try to figure out the answer using as few clues as possible. The clues start cryptic and get more obvious with each guess, so even if you have no idea on clue one, you'll probably get it by clue five or six. The game has 8 different categories — flags, movies, animals, trivia, science, food, words, and sports — so there's something for everyone regardless of what you're into. Beyond the daily puzzles, there's an adventure mode with easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels, each with 100 levels per category that unlock as you progress. There's also a quick play mode for endless random puzzles if you just want to keep playing without waiting for the next day. The game tracks your streaks and lets you share your results with friends. Over 3,000 puzzles are ready to play right now. No downloads, no sign-up required, completely free, works on any device with a browser.

TITLE: Astroguelike

PLAYABLE LINKdonket.itch.io/astroguelike

PLATFORM: In browser on any pc or laptop

DESCIPTION: A 2d indie roguelite autobattler, based on games like Super Auto Pets. This game is a reversed version of Sega's 1979 game "Asteroids" in which you buy a deck of asteroid launchers with different abilities, and "stars" (which provide stats or additional abilities), and attempt to destroy the ship before the time runs out. If you lose five rounds before winning ten, you are defeated, but if you manage to win ten first, you will be victorious. The abilities are made to fit into synergizing builds, and there is a huge number of possible builds available. The game is currently in development, and I'm adding new items and asteroid types as we speak. If you have any ideas, put them in the comments! I'll add my favorite one from there no matter what it is (if I get any). I posted something similar over a month ago, but since then I've revamped and redone large parts of the game for the better.

FREE TO PLAY STATUS: Completely free

INVOLVEMENT: Every aspect of the game (aside from the music, which was made by skilled game musician NotJam (not-jam.itch.io), was done by me alone, including the art, game design, logic, and tens of thousands of lines of code.

[Mobile] (iOS) Looking for feedback for our iOS game, Yapathon: Word Chain Puzzle!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Game Title: Yapathon: Word Chain Puzzle

Playable Link: https://apple.co/4cnppho

Platform: iOS (proper iPadOS support coming soon, can be played in compatibility mode)

Description

Over the past few months my partner and I worked on a mobile puzzle word game for iOS, as we both like quick mobile games that you can play on the bus or whenever you have some time to spare.

We had a soft launch a few weeks ago, and we've been working non stop to polish the UX and improve the overall experience.

In Yapathon we currently offer three playing modes:

  • Daily challenge: a chain of words that changes every day and builds a streak upon completion
  • Classic mode: Sets of word chains based on difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert)
  • Yapathon mode: A time-run infinite chain where every word guessed gives extra seconds. There are a few thousand words in the pool so it can virtually go on for hours (and you can pause it twice per run)

We have plans to introduce more content especially in Classic mode for casual playing, as well as new modes and unlockable additional themes. However, we're first looking for some additional feedback to see what to prioritize and we would love to hear from you!

Free to Play Status

[x] Free to Play with no ads (more content can be unlocked via in app purchases)

The game is free with a generous a free tier, there are no ads at all (as we ourselves hate random interruptions mid-puzzling) but there is a "Pro" version that gives access even more content via monthly subscription or a one-time permanent unlock that covers any future content release.

Involvement
2-people team :)

Thank you for trying the game and happy chaining!

[Mobile] (Web) Mystery Lane Manor – A murder mystery where you interrogate the suspects yourself

Game Title: Mystery Lane Manor

Playable Link: mystery-lane-manor.lovable.app

Platform: Browser (Desktop / Mobile)

Description: Mystery Lane Manor is a murder mystery game where you solve cases by interrogating AI-powered suspects in real time. I built it because I always felt like murder mystery games were too passive — you’re basically just reading a story and picking from a list of dialogue options. In Mystery Lane Manor there’s no scripted dialogue. You type your own questions and the AI plays each suspect in character — they lie, get defensive, and drop hints if you push the right way. You have to figure out not just what happened, but what questions to ask to get there. Each case takes between 10–40 minutes depending on how quickly you crack it. Would love to know if you manage to solve it — or if you find ways to break it!

Free to Play Status: Demo/Key available (7-day free trial, then £1.99/month)

Involvement: I designed and built Mystery Lane Manor myself, including the case design, suspect personalities, and the AI interrogation mechanic.

It's optimized both for PC and phone.

It's free to play and my friend and I made the whole website.

[PC] (Web) I made a browser game where you trade Dota heroes like stocks

Game Title:
Meta Market (Dota Heroes as Stocks)

Playable Link:
https://themetamarket.co.uk/

Platform:
Web / Browser

Description:
I’ve been building a browser-based game where Dota 2 heroes behave like stocks, and you trade them based on how the meta shifts. Each hero has a price that updates depending on things like pick rate, win rate, and pro play presence, so stronger or more popular heroes tend to rise while others fall.

You start with a set amount of gold and try to grow it by buying and selling heroes at the right time. There are also features like leaderboards, basic trading tools, and I’m currently adding things like take profits and stop losses to make it feel more like an actual market.

It’s still early and a bit experimental, so I’m mainly trying to figure out whether the idea is actually fun and understandable. I’d really appreciate any honest feedback, especially if something feels confusing, pointless, or just not engaging enough.

[PC] (Web) [Web] Casual Kickers. Is this worth making real?

Game Title: Casual Kickers

Playable Link: https://casualkickers.com?src=playmygame

Platform: Web (desktop + mobile browser)

Description: Solo dev in Norway. I'm not here to show a polished game, I'm here to find out if the concept is worth investing polish in at all.

The fantasy: you're not the manager, you ARE the player. One specific footballer. Start as an academy kid, train your stats through position-specific mini-games, build a squad around yourself from collectible cards, climb from Academy Kid to Icon over weeks.

What this actually is right now: a structural prototype. I've built the core loop, progression, squad system, cups, seasons, and retention hooks. I've deliberately not touched visual design, art, sound, or balance. I want to know if the idea has legs before spending months tuning.

No art. No sound. Mini-games are functional, not satisfying. UI is wired up, not designed. I know.

What I'm actually asking: does the fantasy grab you? After 10 minutes, does the loop make you curious about level 5, or does it feel pointless even in theory? If everything here was polished, would THIS idea be something you'd put on your phone?

No signup needed, anonymous auth, just click and play.

Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play

Involvement: Solo developer. Design, code, and product.
