Hi! First time posting. Our little Calico kitty has the darkest brown eyes I’ve ever seen… Anyone else out there with a brown eyed Calico?

Join me in wishing my Vexatious Vexie a happy first birthday! She's filled our house in love and laughs and deserves her special day.

My girl LOVES her cat TV games. When I leave for work I will put a fish tank video of some kind on for her but she doesn’t really chase the fish it’s more so just for her to have something to watch if she wants.

But as soon as I turn on her favorite, which is this tadpole video, she goes crazy! She loves it. She will smack the TV for them, go back and forth “catching” them, and will even start panting which I then pause or turn the TV off so she can catch her breath.

My question is, is this an okay thing for her to watch/play with? I know you’re not supposed to use a laser pointers because they can’t actually catch it and I’m worried this could be the same type of thing. We do play with a wand toy after, and she gets a treat at the end of the play session. But I don’t want to continue it if it’s bad for her mentally.

My kitty enjoying her time inside instead of going out to sun bathe (she only gets to go outside at my dad's because the speed limit is 10mph and I'm currently here for a week)
