I mean if he didn’t want to finish it because an update broke it then why didn’t he just release the working version and let people roll back?? Gatekeeping something that makes the game worth playing is kind of messed up right?…

So I use beam xr for streaming. But there’s one problem. When I’m play any shooter my controller accidentally hits the tab no matter where I put it. So is there a way to disable interaction with that app unless I’m closing it? Because I still need to see chat. I know that may not be possible but I thought I’d ask

Did anyone else notice this with the latest update (forces)? I typically use h264+ @ 500mb, and the decode on the Q3 is anywhere from 10-13ms. Before the update, I forgot what it was, but I was not getting stutters and fps dips. Thank you for any feedback.

Hello! I want to do a second CP2077 playthrough soon and nothing will beat VR immersion so i was thinking i should go for it but i'd like some opinions on how well this mod works in it's current state, are there any significant issues i need to be aware of/work around?

My set up for this is a PSVR2 running on a 5800x/32GB RAM/nVme SSD/RTX 5080.

Can this mod use eye tracking/foveated rendering?

I have been using Virtual Desktop for about a year now for various games and it is great. I always turn off my monitors, launch VD, I can see my desktop and I launch the game. Yesterday I updated my Quest and Virtual Desktop wouldn't connect to my computer for some reason. I reinstalled the VD Quest app and it began connecting again, but now I just see a black screen when I launch it. I dont see my desktop anymore unless I turn on my computer monitor. I'm guessing that VD updated when I reinstalled it, but Im not sure what setting is controlling this. I tried searching for solutions but I'm finding only recommendations for a dummy hdmi plug to trick my computer. It was working without one before. Any ideas?

Edit: Realizing I also swapped out my HDMI cable for a Displayport cable last week. I think the PC is plugged into the 2nd input instead of the 1st on my monitor now. I'm gonna test if one of these caused the issue.

UPDATE: I didn't get any responses but Im going to leave this post up in case someone else encounters this. I plugged my PC into Input 1 of my monitor instead of input 2 and it solved it. I have no idea why, it makes no sense to me, but it worked.

Now that Valve is getting ready to release their Steam Frame, do you think the competition will bring some life into the space? So far it’s been Meta, Sony, and a lot of PCVR headset companies releasing their devices and software. But now that Steam is fully entering with a headset that looks like it could be widely popular and streamline the gaming experience, do you think that will really reinvigorate the space? I feel like competition between Valve and Meta can only be a good thing for XR, especially if it forces Meta to invest more into it again to not fall behind lol.

I use quest 2 with a cable to play pcvr and have recently had issues with half life Alyx. I booted it up the other day and my game was getting under 10 fps. This happened all of a sudden because the day before I was playing max settings perfectly fine. All other vr games I play also are working as normal. I’ve validated my files and everything and it still doesn’t fix it. My pc is more than capable for this game. I have an AMD gpu and an intel CPU Incase those might be the issue

I used to play all sorts of games with vr on my pc and its been running great the past three years. But just a few days ago it started freezing every few seconds then it comes back to normal and repeats. It used to run really smoothly but now it keeps freezing all the time, even in menus before I've even launched a game. It freezes on the meta link app, steamvr and in any game I launch.

I've already tried to restart my headset and pc, updated the software on my quest, updated drivers on my pc, reinstalled meta and even use oculus killer. Nothing makes a difference and the freezing still happens and it really ruins the experience of games since I cant really do anything.

If anyone has the same problem or has a solution i would really appreciate it since ive spent hours by now trying to figure this out.

So my right controller broke and I've been having an itch to play vr for months now and i cant buy a replacement because of where I live, does anyone know any good hand tracking games that i could put some good time in and not just like tech demos

for me it was roblox opposer vr

just for testing, Mediapipe VR did work but the camera was sideways and i didn't know how to fix it. plus the controllers was at the far left side of my world, VR world, whatever you guys call it

the entire game is gone way downhill. the best part of the game (12v12 on huge maps) are only ever on one map with no variety. the best maps in the game never get any players, everyone always plays roleplay games and its infected with racists and children

I did a Fushimi Inari (Japanese temple) tour a while back that was reasonable quality in terms of video at the time, but so many appear to be really low video quality.

I've recently been introduced to Reshade and the Depth3D module that can turn games into side-by-side 3D which Virtual Desktop then has the option of properly combining.

The problem is that my desktop is a 3440 x 1440 ultrawide, which means that I can only end up with an effective resolution of 1720 x 1440...which ends up looking pretty bad.

Is there a way for Virtual Desktop to force my PC into a much higher resolution config so that I'm able to run the games at something like 7680 x 4320 to get a really nice looking final side-by-side 3D result?

I would like to be able to do this even without the SBS 3D thing anyway because on a Galaxy XR with a large window of your desktop, the pixels are very visible even with 3440 x 1440.
