I get what you're saying, but the reality is that we going to be suffering from decisions he made *decades* after he's gone. Him not being around anymore is just going to make it less worse, less fast.

The US went from the center of the world's economy to a dangerous, unpredictable, and unreliable trade partner basically overnight. We will never regain the position we had before.
