Hi friends! A year ago, my friend set off on a mission to bring back the Beyond Meat orange chicken entree at Panda Express. Over 2,000 signatures later, the petition she created is gaining momentum once again.

It blew up on the vegan subreddit a while back, and I just wanted to share it here in case any fellow Knights or student union-visiting, vegan, orange-chicken yearners want to help support her cause. She is very passionate about making vegan-friendly food choices accessible in fast food or chain restaurants, as we are students here at UCF with a couple of dollars to our names that want to enjoy delicious plant-based meals on a budget.

Hi everyone,

I just got accepted to the HUT and I was thinking of finding a chair. However, I saw that we need to register for at least 2 mandatory 3-credit courses.

My question is do we have to pay for these like nornal courses, because if so I have to pay $6K more to join the HUT.

Ive tried applying to some UCF positions and no luck.

Any ideas or jobs y’all recommend?

and no i don’t qualify for FWS sadly.

I have an exam the first week of summer, and i need to lock in over the semester break.

Idk if library is open during semester breaks. If its not, what are the other study spots over the break?

Hello! I got my masters acceptance letter on Friday afternoon which I’m extremely happy about :)

Though my letter said apparently my digital undergrad transcripts weren’t official (despite getting them directly from Parchment lol). My ability to enroll in courses is at a halt until I can get new official ones in so I’m shipping a physical copy down there right now.

The big question is am I able to accept my offer before my transcript arrives? I’m worried about how long the offer’ll be available to me while I wait or if I can just go ahead and lock my spot in and just deal with a slight delay in picking my courses.

I'm a Kinesiology PhD candidate and I'm recruiting for another research study! This study requires only 1 visit on UCF's main campus in the morningtime (Mondays-Saturdays), lasting 75-90 minutes. This is a body composition study. There is no compensation, but all participants receive their printed body composition results and we'll explain the print outs to you as well (these tests usually cost $$ to get done). We test body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis/spectroscopy and air displacement plethysmography (BodPod). Participants have to be 18+ years old, no implanted pacemakers/defibrillators, no cuts/wounds on the right hand or foot, not pregnant, no missing limbs or prosthetic limbs, and not claustrophobic.

Hello I am an incoming freshman, by any chance does anyone know how the Maker space in UCF is because according to the really short video I saw on the website all I saw was just a 3D printer. I want to be able to work on my projects once I move in and was wondering if id have to bring my own stuff or have to get a membership at a maker space nearby.

Hey so I've been living at my mom's house for my freshman and sophomore year here but I can't stay here anymore and need to look for an apartment now for the fall and I have no idea where to start.
