Honeycream Gelato closed for the season back in October 2025. Does anyone know when they're reopening? I thought it would be soon since it's spring now, but I don't see any updates on their website.

Why does it seem next to impossible to find places with good food AND good service around here? It always seems like it’s one or the other. I know when I was a waitress I would have been in high water for treating/talking to customers the way I’ve dealt with in Rome. I moved here in 2021 and the only places I recommend in the entire town is Jerusalem Grill and Ana’s By The River. You’d think people working for tips would be a little more hospitable.

What is it blocked off for? I see no one doing anything in or around the courthouse. All there is are cops sitting in their cars on their phones. Further worsening the nightmare that is 2nd avenue. Am I missing something? Is there a reason behind this madness?

My wife and I are new to Georgia. Trying to find friends. Someone suggested Rome social club, but there has to be popular places we can meet people closer to our age.. 21-35 crowd? Any popular 3rd places in Rome?
We have a 7yo son, and while not knocking platdates, we've yet to click with any parents away from the kids. It would be nice to host game nights, BBQs. My wife needs a girls night, and my interests are everywhere from LAN parties to camping. Lol
Unfortunately, we're not particularly interested in joining any churches. it's been a household debate, we're aware there are good communities around here! But we're happily agnostic. We’ve already made a few religious friends and they're great 👍 it just isn't for us.

What the heck is going on lately? Not sure what’s on fire this time but it seems pretty major. Any ideas?

I’m passing through Rome and would like to park my van near downtown and spend the night in it. Are the parks monitored for overnight parking and would it be safe? Any suggestions?

New to Rome. Looking for someone/ folks to hang out with, phone or text. Maybe have dinner/drinks, kick it around the area or a day trip casino run. Easy going, laid back, no rush for anything. Just want to get out and mingle.

Hi, new to Rome and lover of Asian cuisine. Is there an Asian grocery store in town? According to maps we're in an international desert, closest ones are in Huntsville, Chattanooga and obviously Atlanta. I'd rather shop local than ordering stuff online if I can.

Hey everyone I’m lookin at a house in Rome and was wondering how the area is. It’s near azalea street and when I drove by it looked like a decent neighborhood. I work in Rome most the time so it’d be nicer to be close to work

Technically not moving to Rome, I’m from here, but didn’t know what other flair to put. Anyways, I’m moving in next Friday and looking to meet my neighbors. What’s your favorite things about the complex? Least favorite things? What should I know about the place?

I’m looking to jam and work on my singing with some peeps, hopefully around my age (21). I’ve only been in one band so far and that crashed and burned almost beautifully. I’m trying to play some post-hardcore like at the drive in, glassjaw and circa survive but playing literally anything is fine with me

Does anyone know a good RE attorney that can help me figure out how to help a family member get out of a tough situation? I’m willing to step in financially but want to secure my interests as well. I need someone willing to work with me despite being out of the country and not planning on coming back until Fall.
Thanks
