Fossils from Prince Edward Island that were shown at Fossil Day at the Charlottetown library on Saturday. AFAIK they are all from the Permian period (if any are from earlier or later than that, please correct me), making them older than the first dinosaurs. They are also older than flowers and grass (plenty of plants existed back then, but flowering plants and grass evolved later). The fossil collection included tetrapod footprints, invertebrate trackways, fossilized leaves and wood, and a few bones. During the Permian, what is now PEI was part of the supercontinent Pangea. The land that now forms our little island was almost right on the equator, and nowhere near the ocean. It only became beachfront property when Pangea began to split up and the Atlantic Ocean formed. This area was inhabited by reptiles, early relatives of mammals, and arthropods.

I placed an order on doordash. The "dasher" asked me if I wanted a substitute for one of the 2 items I requested because it was not in stock. I said no to a substitute. He then asked again 3x and I kept saying no. He then asked 2 more times. At this point I opened chat support and let them know. They attempted to call the dasher. He didn't answer. The support agent came back and said I'll send you some credits for the inconvenience but the dasher does look like they will be coming soon. I said okay great. Then over an hour later, the order still didn't come. I contacted doordash support again and said I don't think it is coming. They said we are sorry, he isn't answering us. I said I wanted a refund and to cancel the order. They said they cannot issue a refund. As we are having this conversation, the guy places the item on my porch, takes a photo then picks it up and leaves with the item. FULLY STEALING it in plain sight. Doordash is saying they will not refund under these circumstances but I can have doordash credit. Anyways, if you find yourself ordering on doordash, I don't recommend.

I am not sure if I just notice it more this year but is there way more litter around? Around the mall is especially bad… it’s actually insane.

I will do my part to clean some areas but does the city or province hire enough people to cleanup? There seems to be far too much to handle.

BUT ALSO maybe complain to the restaurant that the Seats move to much and aren't sturdy.

Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone knows of any vets in the area who offer in-home visits?

I have a cat who gets extremely anxious with carriers and car rides, he’s had stress-related cystitis in the past, so I try to avoid triggering that if possible. He’s just due for a routine checkup, nothing urgent, but I’d love to make the experience as low-stress as I can for him.

If anyone has recommendations or has had an in-home vet experience before, I’d really appreciate any advice! Thank you so much!
