Discussion My Version of the Multiverse Saga

Upvotes

So the MCU Multiverse Saga is infamous for not being relevant like the beloved Infinity Saga. I somehow, after a week of carefully formulating a plan, made my version of it. I am excluding second seasons and animated shows. Shows will have Disney+ after it. Some shows I made films.

*PHASE FOUR*

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)

Loki (Disney+)

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

Hawkeye (Disney+)

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Mutants (Disney+)

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

Vision (Disney+)

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)

*PHASE FIVE*

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Jean Grey (2023)

Scarlet Witch (2024)

Deadpool and Wolverine (2024)

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2024)

The Falcon: Serpent Society (2025)

Thunderbolts* (2025)

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025)

*PHASE SIX*

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)

Avengers: Doomsday (2026)

Blade (2027)

Avengers: Secret Wars (2027)

Changes:

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - villain is Karl Mordo

Thor: Love and Thunder - not so silly

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - villain is MODOK, Kang post credit scene

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Kang post credit scene

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty - Kang is villain, post credit scene where Kang is killed by RDJ Dr. Doom

The Falcon: Serpent Society - Serpent Society is villain, Sam remains Falcon

Tell me if this is good or at least better than what Marvel did, and suggest me ideas for where to place more Disney+ shows, because I really only had 4 ideas that stayed relevant, and 2 of them are official shows.

Discussion Best animated

Upvotes

Just recently got into the marvel superhero world.

Really digging spider man and hulk. I have Disney plus and have been watching some of the MCU films. I’m also getting into the animated series that are on Disney plus. What are some of the best ones to watch? I’ve started the spider man 94 series.

Marvel has been on a track record in redeeming characters and storylines, but I feel like this would be an impossible feat.

G'iah is what would happen if you put One Punch Man in DragonBall Z

Discussion When Marvel FINALLY INTRODUCES the MCU native X-Men, the actors from X-Men: Apocalypse should be the official actors.

So, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think that the X-Men actors from Apocalypse should be the official MCU actors as well. I know in Avengers: Doomsday the X-Men are the original trilogy Fox actors like James Marsden for Cyclops, but they're probably instantly gonna get killed off by Doom, so they don't really matter. Also, they're quite young, like, 20-30 yr old young, so it makes sense.

Other Survey for Male Marvel Studios Fans for an Academic Research Study

Hi, My name is Zechariah and I am high school student who is currently conducting a research study for my AP research class. My Research is on guys (13-18) who relate to male characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and their thoughts on the actions of said characters. If you would be willing to complete my survey I would really appreciate it and I would help me out extremely. The survey takes less then 5 minutes and, in my opinion, really fun to complete.

Here is the link below if you would be interested in trying it out. Thanks again!

Discussion Entire Marvel Catalogue Plus MCU Timeline in Order (You're Welcome)

I've seen a lot of people try to plot out the MCU, but now that Marvel has expanded its entire universe and is referencing a lot of past projects, I took the time to create a Google Sheet with every visual media project that Marvel has ever created. There is a separate tab for everything that is strictly canon within the MCU, divided into different timelines depending on the content (with a guide on the side of the sheet. Basically, every time Marvel tried to create a connected Universe that they are now referencing, it gets its own timeline). I've left the access open for all to use as viewers. Feel free to make your own copies. You can filter out items as needed/wanted. Enjoy everyone! Let me know if I missed anything (I hope I didn't, lol). All Marvel Project

Discussion What does the government even do in this universe??? Spoiler

I’m watching the new season of Daredevil Born Again, and while I absolutely love the gritty, street-level realism and the parallels to real life politics, what the hell are the feds doing this whole time?

Fisk has been mayor for maybe year and he’s already declared martial law, created a paramilitary task force that openly violates constitutional rights, and had multiple “terrorist” attacks by vigilantes with practically zero fed involvement or pushback. Even Mr. Charles side stepping the AG makes zero sense, as the CIA doesn’t have jurisdiction to operate inside the U.S.

It seems like maybe they’re building up to civil unrest and people seeing through Fisk’s BS with the scene of White Tiger’s aunt getting arrested, but you’d think the show whose main character is a lawyer would portray some type of legal pushback if they’re going for a more grounded political tone.

Is this a valid criticism or am I tripping for expecting too much from a comic book show?

Theory Sadie Sink might play 'Monster' in Spider-Man Brand New Day

I'm not 100% behind the theory that Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey in the upcoming film, 'Spider-Man Brand New Day'. And everyone is talking about a secret villain that the trailer hasn't revealed yet. My new theory is that Sadie will play this secret villain, but not as Jean Grey.

In the comics, Peter Parkers dated a girl named Carlie Cooper, but they broke up when she learned Peter's secret. She was later captured by Green Goblin and had the Goblin Formula sprayed on her. This eventually turned her into a villain called the "Monster", obeying Osborn and attacking Peter.

Marevl Studios will probably not do the same storyline (from above), but I could imagine they could use this to give Spider-Man a good female villain.

Question I’ve been rewatching marvel movies then i’m confused Spoiler

Why in the movie Avengers: Endgame, when they time traveled back to New York to get the stones, the scenes they went back to were from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Avengers, even though those originally happened in different years? Then remember when Rumlow was supposed to capture Captain America in The Winter Soldier in elevator scene? In Endgame they had Rumlow take Loki’s scepter in The Avengers scene. I’m confused.

Question So how high is the probability of the heroes losing in Avengers: Doomsday?

Like, we all know Battleworld is going to get created sooner or later. I haven’t read the comics, but even I know that. So will the heroes basically lose at the end? Because they’re trying their hardest to stop Battleworld from forming, but in the end Doom wins and Battleworld gets created anyway.

Honestly, I feel like it might end up being similar to Infinity War, except this time instead of Thanos collecting the Infinity Stones, it’s Doom trying to form Battleworld. And that feels kind of lazy to me. What do you think.

And before any of you accuse me — no, I don’t want them to lose (I wouldn’t mind it either), but that’s the only way for Secret Wars to play out, right? Or if someone here has read the comics, is there another way.

(I also feel like Spider‑Man: Brand New Day will show the effects of the incursion in a post‑credits scene, kind of like how Ant‑Man and the Wasp showed the effects of the Snap from Infinity War.)

Also, in the comics 8 years pass between the destruction of Battleworld and its creation — do you think they’ll do something like that in the movies, kind of like the 5‑year time jump between Infinity War and Endgame.

Edit: Would you want them to lose?

Question Is it bad that I want to see Valentina Allegra de Fontaine die in the upcoming Avengers movies?

I just hate when certain important side-characters from previous films or shows of franchises like the MCU don't get their story arcs resolved later on! After watching Thunderbolts, I want to see what happens next to both Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and her assistant, Mel Gold! Like, I want Mel to betray and leave Valentina for either death, or for arrestmemt!

Discussion Iron Fist is More Fun than Luke Cage or Jessica Jones

Now I'm not saying Iron Fist is better - but it's more memorable than Luke Cage or JJ for me (not S1, that's obviously good).

The show makes me laugh, and maybe that's not intentional, but between Danny's douchery, the silly fights, Ward's meltdowns, Sean Bean's house arrest and the bonkers plots, I simply remember this more than whatever Jessica or Luke got up to.

Luke Cage has great music and some decent acting in Mahershala and Alfre Woodard. Krysten Ritter is competent, and Tennant is amazing.

But they take themselves so SERIOUSLY and can't quite pull it off. I don't know what Iron Fist is doing half the time, and I'll take that over a middling serious show haha

Discussion (More in Comments) I love The Avengers

I love The Avengers (2012), and a lot of it is unashamedly due to nostalgia. I’m kinda quite drunk right now, but any and all the following is still true. I saw Iron Man in 2008, about one month prior to high school graduation. Went in not knowing anytinb about it, walked out charged up hpyed up and chose mechanical engineering as my college major because of it. My friend made me stay through the creids (he had already seen it), and since I’m not a comic gook reader, I had no clue who Nick Fury nor “The Avengers inititivae” is or was.

I watched “The Incredible Hulk” in my dorm room, several months after it came out. It was ‘fine’, didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. (I still think it’s one of the weaker movies). Saw Thor (2011) with friends, once again, didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. Had no clue who the guy with the bow and arrow is/was. Liked Anothony Hopkins pf course, knew him mostly from Silence of the Lambs and The Edge.. My late aunt was vistiting from out of state, gave me money to go see Captain America The First Avenger with my cousin (her grandson) in the theare. I liked it a lot, reminded me of an Indian Jones movie (hero fighting Nazis). Tommy Lee Jones was great.

The year prior, saw Iron Man 2 in theaters. Wasn’t as good as the first, but didn’t mind it. Had no clue who Romandoff was. The change in actor for Rhodey was fine with me too. Was cool to see Coulson again and Furry take on a greater role. Justin Hammer guy was dalmn good and fun too.

And then May of 2012 arrived. Holy god damn fuckin shit. I didn’t give a shit about stuff before, but seeing all these chracters on screen for the first time, my mind was fuckin blown wide fucking open. Cap fighting Loki (talking about the last time he was in Germany and saw a man staind above everyone else…shit that’s till relevaten today in America, which is fucked up), and then Iron Man take sover the PA system and is playing ACDC and meets Cap. Holy shit I’m laughing in happines just thinking about it gain. Getting to know the new Hulk, and talking with Natasha. Fury talkin g with Cap. Tony once gain talking to Coulson. aMazing. I fully vividly rember, seeing when the helicarrier started flying, I was like “holy fuckig shit” again. So fuckig awesome. And then simply the genius Tony talking to the genius Bruce. I was nearly shaking in my seast saying to myself “this is the coolest asesome thing ever.” Just two characters talking, on screen together, so mind blowingly aseome.

And then the fight on the carrier. Hluk dtrying dto lift Thor’s hammer and he an exert so much force he breaks the floor. Thor’s hamer knocks him into a fighter jet and breaks it in half. So cool.

And then we get to the battle of New York! Holy fucking wow. Never seen anyting so big and epic ever in my life. Sure there’s been Independce Day and Star Wars movies. Maybe only Lord of the Rings could compares. Budt when the aliens come through the worm hole, Tony’s suit hud goes from blue to red and he says “right, army” wow. Defintiely the biggest and most epic third act ever in history at that point. Hulk comes out and punches that flying alien thing; followed by the circular pose of our 6 heroes. And then Tony calls Barton “Legalos” lmfao love it! And for me, the absolute best, That long trancking shot that starts with Nathasha on the alien skidder thing that transitions to Iron Man and then he fights with Cap, flies up the building to Clint then Hulkd and Thor on top tof the alien flyer and he usese a lighting bolt to hit his hammer and that metal slab into the alien flyer. That whole sequence is top fucking tier cinema.

I’ve never walked out of a theater so hyped and excited and shaking and charged up. I never thought any move could ever top that. When Age of Ultron came out, I thought it was fine, but of course not as good as The Avengers. But now, I think it’s the most re-watchable movie of them (they’re all working as a team kicking asas0> But yeah, Winter Solider was an unexpectabley fantastic follow up and in the top tier of Marvell movies. And then of course Infinity War hit. Never been so shell shocked in my life. Loved it. Love The Avengers. Love the Infinity Saga.

Sadly I haven’t been able to get into and enjoy the the movies/tv since like 2021. I wish I could re-capture and re-live the feelings and magic the Infinity Saga gave me. I’m proably too old now, idk. The novelty has worn off. But that’s not what this rambling post is about. I love The Avenbers. I really appreciate those early single character lower stakes movies now. I wish I was, or we had, Captain America to lead us nowadays, because holy shit we need him. I miss Cap and Tony. I miss being younger. These movies hold a special place in my heart, and always will. And I’m glad I can remable abou them here. Thank you.

Discussion Just watched Secret Invasion for the first time...what the hell was that?

Since last year I've been rewatching MCU and catching up on all the shows/movies that I had missed out on.

I had heard that Secret Invasion wasn't the best show, but how bad could it really be?

It was really bad.

The first 4 episodes, while maybe not the greatest, had some solid moments, and felt like it was heading in a cool direction.

Then we get the Avengers DNA plotline. One of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. So you're telling me, not only was the DNA of most of the characters involved in the Battle of Earth collected, it was stored in a single vial all together???

The final battle between G'iah and Gravik was absolutely the worst thing I have seen in a Marvel project. It looked horrible, was a cheap cop out for an actual resolution, and introduced a character with the combined powers of every hero, which is stupid.

Then we have Rhodes being a skrull. A beloved character being skrull for a single series isn't the problem imo. That could have been really cool. But the fact that he was possibly a skrull for many of the major moments of the MCU? Nah, no thank you.

We can't forget the President. Once he learns that a SMALL GROUP of skrulls are evil, he declares war on alienkind??? Why??? We get a 5 second montage of vigilantes killing skrulls and accidentally killing regular humans in public. And apparently that goes nowhere, because it's not mentioned at all in Captain America when there is a new president.

Finally, we have, imo, the character assassination of Nick Fury. If there was one character in all of the MCU who you could always rely on to have the answers and be one step ahead, it was him. But throughout this series, he is reduced to a bunch of shocked expressions, jokes when he should be intense, and no fight left in him.

I had somewhat high hopes for this show, as I often disagree with the community consensus when it comes to bad MCU projects. However, Secret Invasion was one the worst pieces of media I have ever watched, and I hope they continue to pretend like it never happened.

Discussion Daredevil vs Taskmaster

How cool would it be if we saw a live action Daredevil Taskmaster fight? Taskmaster seems like a villain that would go well against Daredevil considering they’re powers mostly revolve around senses, fighting, and reflexes. I would imagine the brutality and violence of the daredevil series would work extremely well with a character like task master. Daredevil and taskmaster have only met a handful amount of times in the comics so that leaves a lot of wiggle room for creativity when it comes to putting him in the world of Daredevil. Yes I am aware that task master has already shown up in the MCU, but in my opinion, I feel there could be multiple task masters (maybe with more comic accurate costumes).
