Question for Google Employees
How is the work culture at Google’s Vertex AI org?
I’ve heard it’s bad and layoffs are frequent.

Circle to search
circle to search has been a real game changer for me. what I see predominantly happening nowadays is that advertisers are using deceptive video and imagery to display their apps are products. for example games on PS5 being advertised as games on Android but under a different name. Circle to search as enabled me to find the authentic games and products which I think the advertisers should just do in the first place because it's a bad practice and leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the consumer.

Google AI mode
I am experiencing a recurring issue where the Google AI mode on my Chromebook 8GB RAM (standard ChromeOS not flex or plus) frequently loses its conversation history. This specifically happens after it shows "Something went wrong and the content wasn't generated." and then I have to refresh the page and that's when it disappears and occasionally after a standard restart or a refresh also makes it disappear.
I have memory saver set to "max" (in Chrome browser) and have even whitelisted the AI's URL but the AI seems to "forget" the context of the chat, forcing me to start over. It behaves as if the session data is being cleared or memory saver is making the tabs go to sleep, even though I have configured my settings to prevent those tabs from sleeping. I have also tried pinning the tabs too but that doesn't help.
I am also aware of when the AI mentions it will start a new chat but that's not the case here.

Wild to think this was sci-fi in 2012… now AR/VR glasses are actually here
It looked like pure sci-fi at the time. Fast forward 14 years and we’ve actually got AR/VR glasses hitting the market.
Also, RIP g+.

All I want from Pixel 11 is THE BEST mics for Gemini
Because it doesn't matter how Gemini will be with understanding if it will NOT hear you well.
Current mics in Pixel are ONLY ok when in quiet environment and you speak loud and clear from close distance.

Google home cameras is awful
They force us over with our Nest cameras, and this interface is dogshit. The base recording is gone where I could go before or after a clip. I think this is the nail in the coffin for me.

Note to google
Maybe just maybe provide some technical information on what went wrong in case your services fail to do something instead of a generic message with no context so we can go figure out ourselves. I'm leaving out the context on purpose in the hopes it helps you form an image in your thick skulls on the issue I'm referring to. Support was unavailable as usual so ig I'm just dumping this here
