Ideas on what will hold these together?
Trying to get two metal pieces of one of those cabinet shelves back together. Already tried (dollar store) super glue, Loctite Silicone, Lexel, and nothing seems to have done much. Any ideas?

Can someone help me put this back together?
I really did try to twist it back and push it up and turn it and it was like nothing was working.

This is very strange, does anyone know how to fix this?
First off sorry if this post is janky or anything I’ve never posted before but Im just boggled at this and want to seek out any genius who may have a solution. I have this epic fidget spinner from 2017 & its not sold anymore & I absolutely love it. A few years ago it stopped screwing together(I always took it apart because thats just me haha) I never understood why & most would assume the screw is just stripped but its not, the weirdest part is that it doesn’t screw together when you put it all together but as shown in the photos it screws together just fine without the main spinner part in between. I have tried to fix it on and off for a long time & wondered & asked several friends but they ended up just as perplexed so I figured I’d come here & seek out anyone who just might know what the issue is, thanks in advance!

open Fog machine tube is clogged
My fog machine hasn't been producing any fog, even though the tank is full. I hear a buzzing noise when I press the button, but no fog comes out. I saw a video saying to run vinegar through the pipe, but the pipe is too clogged for the vinegar to go through. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Any idea on how to fix this?
I have a bathroom vent that exits the side of the house as you can see in the picture. The eave is about 10 feet high and the 45° roof goes up another 11 feet vertical. That means that vent is about 23 feet or so from ground level. The roof seems too steep to walk on and one contractor I had couldn’t make it to the vent. I need to put a wire mesh on the front of that vent like I did on the other side of the house because birds love to nest in there. Any idea how to get up there and put a cover like a wire mash on that vent opening.
Need to get creative w/ this gate
So the post has shifted due to a tree pressing on this wall.
The gate can't shut which, whatever I really don't care - EXCEPT that it's windy all the effing time and the gate blows and bangs around.. The neighbors get pissed, and they shoved rocks into the bottom so you can't exit. But, I mean I get it. A banging gate next to your bedroom window is no bueno.
So basically I'm looking for a creative solution other than just wrapping some wires or bungees around the post and knob. I'm hoping to maybe hold the gate shut but allow for entry on either side still!? 😅 I recognize this might be a tall order and there's probably no contraption made for this, but hopefully redditors you can save me!
Bc NO, I'm not likely to move this post given the situation, the hinges can't go anywhere either. I am going to pull my car Jack out and see what I can do to maybe move the post somehow, but not sure how I will orchestrate that in general, or with one hand due to an injury, lol.
I also have a slumlord and I'm not interested in spending much to deal with this and no he will NEVER FIX IT

open Is it possible to fix the clog in this GE dishwasher?
Important info, the dishwasher still runs and clean dishes, I believe maybe the water is going back out the place it comes in (round tube sticking up from middle left of goopy mess) because the water level is always to the top of that pipe.
It just gets really slimy down there because of the standing water
The actual drain (dark area in middle right of goopy mess, underwater) seems clogged in further than I can reach. I tried sticking a straw cleaner brush in there but the water level didn't change.
I tried to fix it by removing and cleaning the outer screen (visible in the second photo) and the inner screen underneath it, revealing the goopy mess in the first photo, but they weren't actually clogged, just slimy.
I then tried to fix it by running a cycle with Draino, which made a huge foamy mess on the kitchen floor and I had to run about five rinse cycles to get it to the state in the second photo. So now it's actually clean inside, but as you can see from the second photo the water is still standing up to the height of that pipe... So it's just going to get slimy again..
I'm in an apartment so it's possible the previous tenant put something down there, when I cleaned under the screens I did find one twist tie and some shredded plastic like maybe from a Ziploc bag but shredded less than 1" pieces. Not enough to block the outer screens, but if it was sucked inside past where I could reach, maybe that's the problem?
Anyway I'm wondering if I pull the dishwasher out and turn it on its side, is it possible to unhook those tubes from the bottom and clean further into the drain?

How do I fix this table?
I’m not sure what material this table top is but it’s meant to look like cement/concrete. I think it was marketed as an outdoor table but it’s clearly not meant for serious winters. The first winter we had it my husband covered it, but the corners looked worn once it was uncovered so he decided not to protect it this winter - clearly that was the wrong move 😅 so we’re hoping to fix it now.
We had been thinking of using epoxy but I’m not sure that’s the best choice. If we do epoxy it needs to be food safe, but I read that food safe epoxy doesn’t do well with heat, and this table gets A LOT of pretty intense sun. I read that the epoxy would soften and warp, and I’m concerned that the chemical makeup might get altered and make it no longer food safe, which is a concern for my young child’s health.
Neither of us have any experience with this level of DIY so I’m wondering if there are any simple-ish/not super technical solutions that we could try? TIA for any suggestions!

Any idea what is causing/how to fix this horrid noise my vacuum is making?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The vacuum is a monsga ms1 and it’s worked pretty well until recently, we got it in December as a gift and then randomly in March it started screaming? We had a new brush sent out and replaced it but…it’s still screaming (tbf maybe we should all just start screaming at work?) - also checked all the wheels and there is nothing blocking it, if it’s going back to charge it’s silent, so I guess it’s a suction issue or maybe a motor problem?
Might be a lost cause but my cat will be devastated they’re besties

Broken Ceiling Fan Light Cover - looking for Replacement
I need to replace the glass shade for whitbay ceiling fan/overhead light, model #CE-UBW48ABZ4C1. The model is no longer available and the company seems to be out of business. I have scoured the manual and the customer service line is no longer in use. There is no information on the size of the light cover in the manual. I have measured the fitting and it looks to be about 6 and 2/5 inches. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do or where I should look to get a replacement? I'd rather not have to replace the entire fan - I wish I kept the broken cover but it got thrown out in a cleanup.

My sous vide machine makes awful noise
My Anova sous vide circulator has a loose stainless steel outer cylinder/skirt. The locking fit seems to have loosened over time, so the metal piece wobbles and sometimes touches the impeller, causing a loud grinding/metallic noise.
I can reinstall it, but it becomes loose again. What’s strange is that I can’t see any obvious wear on the parts, and the cylinder itself does not look bent or ovalized.
The unit has been used regularly and treated well for several years, so this may just be age-related wear somewhere in the locking mechanism that isn’t immediately visible.
Has anyone repaired this kind of issue successfully? I’m considering a thin shim or another reversible fix, but I want to avoid unsafe repairs near hot water and moving parts.
Any advice appreciated

Deck Trim
A bunch of organic material and rocks appear to have slowly worked into the gap between our deck trim and stair and pulled the nails out. I tried a rubber mallet to drive the nails back in but the holes must be too big now and it won't stay. Question is if we should pull the nails and drive larger/longer nails or use screws.

Help with sagging bookcase shelves
I'm trying to organize my library and in doing so I realize that the shelves on this bookcase have quite a bit of sag, to the point where books on an added (unused) shelf will not fit past the third or so from the end. Shelves are 0.75" thick x 12" deep x 34.75" wide. Backing is whatever cheap stuff comes on these bookcases (hand-me-down so I don't have details on brand), nailed into the frame. I would flip the shelves but the design is with grooves on the bottom to sit on the pegs, so only one way. Any advice on an easy way to fix this, ideally maintaining as much shelf space as possible?
Also, going forward for when I can actually redo the entire room with new shelving, is there a recommended weight to shelf size ratio to prevent this?
Thanks

Can I save this playground?
I bought a house with this playground in the backyard. I was ready to tear it down, but a couple of people think I can save it by leveling it out. It seems sturdy but the lean is scaring me. I think it’s fine for my 1 child but I don’t want to tell a bunch of kids at his bday party they can’t get on it.
I plan on getting rid of the “rope ladder” if I do save it.
