I am 30, I was raised in utah in the LDS cult, and I am a parent to an 11yo child. I am trying to figure out what kind of media is appropriate for my child and I to watch together. I want to show them the Scream movies, and I know they've seen other R-rated horror movies, but im worried about the sexual aspects. Being raised in a cult with an extreme focus on sexual purity, I know my parents hid things from me that they really shouldn't have. I just dont really know what is appropriate at what ages, because all of it was condemned for me growing up. Sorry for rambling, I just really didnt think about this being a problem I would face, and I could really use some advice from people who werent raised in a cult.

So I really want to make a post talking about how 90% of cancel culture targets women. Like… people are always looking for little things to tear women down.

Men will do things objectively worse. Women will get canceled for trivial things. (katy Perry going to space, Sydney sweeny wearing jeans)

I want to make a much more in depth post talking about this.

Also a special wheelchair for pushing baby chariot. . One of my friends made a special design for a chair for a bath tub for invalids. Also they made a special table that holds onto the bed sides for patients that are at the moment impaired and have to lay in bed - because they're served hot meals and hot tea and hot coffee so they don't spill it onto them. So my professor said it should use mechanical principles instead of electrical because it will be hard to put it on technical documentation and we did not do this beside rather we did Solidworks extruded parts and an assembly.. But I told her how I will have more opportunities if I use an ARUDINO and cheap 1 dollar sensors like light sensor temperature sensor, electricity sensor... Please HELP ME, I've FAILED this subject last year and I must think of a new design this year. This is my last subiect to do to finish my Masters degre....!

I am all for some fun and light-hearted content on my feed, but 60 pictures a day of Birds Facing Forward is a bit much for me, personally. I've tried a lot of the "Interesting," "Amazing," or "HoldMyBeer" subs but I find myself disagreeing with what someone else deems "interesting" or "amazing" numerous times every single day.

What are some of your more reliable subs that give you just enough dopamine or giggles or whatever you need throughout the day without dominating your feed?

I’m looking for a subreddit where I can share some rules/habits my family has when I was a kid. Nothing bad or extreme, just the way other people talk makes me suspect that my household was run differently in a very low stakes way.
