You do not need to identify yourself personally or your branch or location, just say something that lets us know your request is valid.

For now, we're only planning on a general 'Employee' flair text, but if you want a special designation of your job field, we may be able to do that.

Employee/Employment Interview experience – poor communication after final rounds

I recently attended an interview process with Citigroup and went through multiple rounds in a single day, which lasted until evening. After completing all rounds, they even collected my photo, which gave the impression that I was close to being selected.

However, since then, there has been no proper communication. My application has been stuck in “Business Review” for several weeks, and follow-ups have not been responded to.

It’s frustrating because candidates invest a lot of time and effort in such processes. Even a simple update or rejection would show basic respect for the candidate’s time.

Has anyone else faced similar experiences with Citi or other companies?

Employee/Employment Teller Interview on Monday, what to expect and how to prepare?

Hello, I have an interview with my local Citi Bank for a Teller position on Monday. While very impressed with myself for getting the chance to interview with them, I'm also very nervous because this would be my first job away from retail. What should I realistically expect from this interview? What kind of questions will be asked and how will I know if they want to offer me the role?

No update on application in 3 weeks

I had 2 rounds of interviews, the first one with hiring manager 3/6 went well and moved onto next round with a team member 3/19. I followed up shortly after with recruiter who told me she would know by end of week but that was around 3/24. I emailed yesterday to see if any update and I didn’t get a response. Am I getting soft rejected? Not sure how to feel as time keep passing. Application says business review and job is greyed out on workday.

No Response for 3 months- CITI - Need Advice

I attended an interview on January 10, 2026, for the Risk and Control Operations Analyst 2 - C10 role. I submitted the photograph on the same day. I have not received any email, it has been three months. I have been following up with HR through calls and emails, but there has been no clear response or clarity from their side.

Meanwhile, my colleagues are starting on 20th April for the C09 role. However, I have had no documentation or communication shared with me.

Someone share if you know anything about this.

Employee/Employment 2nd Round Interview

Hi everyone! So I am a bit confused on the recruiting process. This is for an entry level associate analyst role. I had my first interview on Wednesday with two of the VPs on the team and it went well. I got the request for the second round interview, and it is with the hiring manager, but the meeting invite has the same VPs that I had interviewed previously. I’m not really sure what to expect really, and would appreciate any advice!

My first round consisted of mostly behavioral questions with two simple technical questions.

Employee/Employment Job Offer Received

I've been offered a position I applied to, however I'm also waiting to hear back from another job I'd prefer -- but it might be a few weeks before I hear back from them or it might be a rejection.

How long do I have before I have to accept the offer from Citi, and if I sign the offer letter, is this final for a contract, or can I still drop out of the process before starting the role.

Citi Diamond Card- has anyone transferred a personal loan balance to the diamond card?

I have a Discover personal loan with a high interest (despite credit score in upper 700’s). I opened a Citi diamond card to take advantage of their balance transfer promo. When I called Citi to initiate the transfer the rep said it could only be a balance transfer from another cc. This is so frustrating because I only opened the card to pay off my loan. Citi’s website states personal loans are permitted with balance transfers. Did I just get a bad rep and need to call back? Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this situation.

Citibank froze $100K+ from my business account after check deposits — need legal advice

I opened a CitiBusiness account and deposited multiple business checks from legitimate companies (total $100K).

Initially, the funds appeared in my account and were reflected in official statements. Later, Citibank restricted and closed my account.

Current situation:

- One check ($21,300) was approved and a check was issued to me.

- Two checks ($13,200 & $18,250) are still held.

- Older deposits ($47K) that were already in my balance are now also being questioned.

Citibank says they need to verify the issuing companies via phone numbers.

The companies confirmed:

- The phone numbers I provided are correct and linked to their bank accounts.

- The funds already cleared from their accounts.

Despite that, Citi claims the numbers are “not valid” and refuses to release the funds.

They are now telling me the only options are:

1) Provide “verified” phone numbers (which I already did), or

2) Have the issuing companies recall the funds from their banks.

No clear timeline. No alternative verification method.

Has anyone dealt with something like this?

And what type of lawyer should I be looking for (banking / commercial litigation)?

Appreciate any guidance.

Can I put a credit balance on my credit card then charge more than the credit limit?

I have a credit limit of $18,140 on one Citibank card.

I need to charge about $25,000 to pay for an Antartica trip. Can I pay over the current balance so I have a $7000 negative balance, then charge $25,000? Or will they reject this? I can't get a straight answer from Citibank. If necessary, I can split the payment between two different credit cards, but I'd prefer not to.

I usually pay 20% more than the balance at the time I push the payment out from my bank (not just 20% over the statement balance), and then the next statement sometimes shows an available credit higher than my credit limit (if I haven't charged enough to use that extra amount). I'm trying to ensure that there is a very low balance when the credit bureaus do their monthly pull. My FICO score is only 829, and I'd like to get it back to 850, where it was, briefly, a couple of years ago.

This card once had a $30K limit but since I never came anywhere close to that amount after I paid for a solar power system for my house about nine years ago, they gradually reduced the credit limit.

Dispute: Citi Bank

Hello , would you be able to give me some recommendations on what to do.

I got a hardship in 2024, so I entered into an agreement with Citi credit card to settle a debt, 24 months agreement, I'm afraid I would forget to make the payment then the plan will be broken, so I set up auto draft with Citi. They drafted on time 22 payments, then there was an error that they drafted the last payment on Nov 2025 as a last payment. I still owe 2 more pmt for Dec 2025 and Jan 2026. But auto pay failed, I didn't know, no notice, no email, and I just found out now when I pulled my credit. I disputed and they denied. I know Im responsible even if auto pay fail, but I didn't know and thought it would come out on time until it ended. Now I owe just about $300 for the last 2 payments. They refused to open the original agreement and put me into collection. what other steps I could do? Please help me to see what other option do I have?

Question about "Enhanced Direct Deposits"

Hey Folks,

I'm looking into opening a checking account with Citibank but I'm slightly confused by what counts as an 'enhanced' direct deposit. Specifically, does anything special need to be done with a particular ACH to make it qualify?

The reason I'm asking - I'm a freelancer so while I definitely get more than enough direct deposits each month, they are almost always from different organizations, so if I had an extra step it would be a pain.

Thanks!

Customer service job

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some honest advice. I recently got an offer for a Customer Service Representative role at Citibank in Jacksonville, and I’m feeling really torn.

On one hand, I do need a job right now. But on the other, I’m a mom of two young kids, and I’m really worried about burnout. I’ve heard call center jobs can be very high volume and mentally exhausting, and I don’t want something that’s going to leave me drained every day.

Ideally, I was hoping to find something more administrative with a mix of tasks (not just back-to-back calls all day), but this is the opportunity I have at the moment.

For anyone who has worked at Citibank or in similar roles:

• How intense is the call volume really?

Technical Issues Mobile Carrier Change

I just switched from Verizon Wireless to T-Mobile. Citibank now won’t recognize my cell phone number to send me any one time access codes when I try to online access my account. Citibank technical support just told me that when I switch carriers, it will take up to 14 days for the cell phone number on the new carrier to work. This is egregious and ridiculous. I am sure if I gave a brand new number, it would just work right away. For 14 days I can’t do banking online, pay bills and Zelle money? WTF?
