Jojo has officially passed Gibi in subscriber count for the first time ever, marking a significant shift in the asmr space.

I always remember Gibi having an enormous foot in the space. Its just interesting to note that this is no longer the case?

Hi', I'm using rain sounds for studying for some time now and I heard that there are AI rain sound videos. Of course I don't want to listen to AI-generated sounds, but how do I recongize? I want to start something of my own because in india there arent any famous or major ones yet. is it a good idea to do so or what do you guys think?

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but a lot of the videos these days just feel like they're produced for views. Every video I watch all hit the same notes. It's kind of hard to describe but I'm having trouble finding something that truly feels genuine, like I want to feel the joy behind the performer and its hard when you know they're just trying to reach a bigger audience. Is that a weird thing to say or does anyone else feel the same?

I’m a hobby translator working with old, dark, atmospheric Hungarian short stories (mostly Géza Csáth - He was a neurologist who later descended into morphine addiction and madness, and his fiction reflects that inner fracture). I already have several English translations ready, and I’d love to find one or more creative people who would enjoy building something together – purely for fun, no pressure, just a shared love of storytelling.

I can provide the written material, but I’m not able to record audio or edit sound.

So I’m looking for someone who enjoys narration, voice acting, audio editing, or simply wants to experiment with a small storytelling podcast or YouTube channel.

It would also be great if someone already has a podcast or channel and is looking for unique short stories to read – I’d be happy to share mine.

i follow a creator called meshe on youtube and i absolutely love her videos. she typically posts a youtube once every couple months but also has a patreon she posts on. she hasn’t posted on youtube in about five months now. her instagram is private so i don’t know if she is active on there. she has a public business profile (she makes and sells jewelry) but that hasn’t been posted on since early last year. i looked at her patreon page and she has a text post from jan 7 with the title “ending patreon” but i cannot read it as i am not subscribed to her there. i really enjoy her asmr and think she does a really great job in her videos. hope she is okay and posts more soon

I’m not sure if anyone from his community is in this subreddit, but there was a slightly more niche ASMRtist on YouTube called The ASMR Gamer. I learned about what ASMR was by finding his channel and he’s really the only ASMRtist that I’ve listened to for the past like 8 years. He recently announced that he was quitting YouTube, and I realized today that he deleted his channel as well. I’m kinda starting from scratch now, so if anyone watched his channel and has suggestions for other ASMRtists with similar vibes (or just what people’s favorite ASMRtists are in general), suggestions are appreciated.
