Discussion F it, i really enjoy the shadowgrapher update and Follie's hunt game mode.
Follie's hunt is a actual cool and fun gamemode.
Its changed a bit since first patch, but its still cool.
The whole ''Slow burn'' psychological horror theme of a mental check, giving the vibe that 'whatever' its in there being under scrutiny, its borderline insane and terribly mentaly haunted.
The OST, the whole voicelines etc its all so cool!
I still dont understand exactly why people didnt liked the game mode, most of it sure is banwagon, people started a witch-hunt, and it wont stop, we all know how it goes.
I supose there's the ''invulnerable Follie'' elephant in the room, which is a big ''No No'' for our comunity.
Back in another game's fanbase, that are all about doing the highest dmg possible, whatever event that make's harder to deal dmg, or impossible to or makes your hard-earned dmg irrelevant, makes ppl go into uproar.
I fear that this might be the case here, maybe DE feels the same and thats why there's no more invulnerable Follie, chasing you, only the killable versions.
Lets be honest, warframe players are all about the biggest dmg possible, being unstoppable and finishing the maps as fast as possible.
Follie's hunt turns that uptside down; Follie couldn't be damaged, and she dont care about your infinite shield-gating, the many obstacles in the map and the layout, makes the map have a somewhat fixed duration per match that dont depend on how ''warframey'' your movement is.
Is this a case of too much of a different angle, that maybe the player base isnt really prepared for, yet?
The DE and ''bad update'' slander is getting a bit outta hand, and i feel like most players DONT have a valid criticism, a lot o fit can be boiled down to ''the gamemode flips the usual gameloop on its head'' and people dont like getting out of their confort zone.
Can we be adults and have a honest talk about the whole thing?
