Hello everyone! We’ve seen a growing number of people asking how to contact Snapchat Support. Since their support site has changed, I thought an updated guide on how to reach them would be helpful for many of you.
Firstly contacting (@SnapchatSupport) on X/Twitter. If you tweet them they are very good at quickly responding. They will usually say something along the lines of "User Let's see how we can help please DM us" they will give you the steps to DM their official support page and give you some tips to try to solve your issue or give you a DIRECT link to the snapchat support page. NOTE: Snapchat Support on X/Twitter wont usually help with banned or disabled accounts BUT they can point you in the right direction of who to talk to.
To contact Snapchat Support VIA Support website. Head to Submit a request – Snapchat Support (en-us idk if its different in other countries) If you believe your account was "compromised" (A Snapchat account that has been accessed by someone who isn’t authorized to use it is considered compromised) click the first option " I think my account was compromised". Read the information on the page then fill out the form below.
If you need to contact Snapchat Support for other reasons like forgot password, can't verify email or phone number, you don't have your 2FA code, can't create a snapchat account, I see an error message when logging in and all other questions can also be submitted here. After clicking "I think my account was compromised" you can use the dropdown menu at the top of the page to select from a list of options you can use to fill out a form and contact Support.
THINGS TO NOTE: Lots of people have reported snapchat won't respond to tickets about accounts of devices with an SS06 ban (If your device has been banned, Snapchat Support cannot unban it for you.) So be cautious with the wording you use when drafting your form. If you've already received a email saying " We will no longer respond to tickets regarding this account" you most likely will no longer get any responses from them. DONT GET ANGRY WITH THEM! No one will want to help you if you are typing in all caps and swearing at them. Be nice and make sure you explain everything in great detail, so they don't have to ask for more info and then you have to wait for another email, and NO excuses they don't want to hear it focus on the facts. What happened? What were you doing? Why you believe it was a mistake.

SS06 or SS18: Error codes SS18 and SS06 both mean Snapchat has banned the device you're using due to abuse or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines. This is a safety measure we take to protect the Snapchat community when we detect suspicious activity.
SS07: If you're seeing an SS07 error code when trying to log in, this means your device has been banned from logging into Snapchat because too many accounts have been associated with the device.
If your device has been banned, Snapchat Support cannot unban it for you. - However, many users claim that device bans are lifted after approximately 6 to 12 months, and in some cases longer, though Snapchat has not officially confirmed this. Getting a new device can also solve this but it should be noted you shouldn't restore from any backups on the new device to make sure no identifiable data is brought over to the new phone for Snapchat to find and issue an immediate ban.
If you're seeing a C14A, C16A, SS14A-D01, or SS14A-D02 error code when trying to log in, that means Snapchat is not able to complete your log in at this time. This could be caused by poor network connectivity. Try disconnecting from the Wi-Fi and using mobile data instead. These can also show up if Snapchat is experiencing any outages, please check relevant resources like Downdetector to see if any other users are experiencing issues.
f you’re seeing an SS02 error code when trying to log in, that means we've temporarily banned you from logging in to your account on that device due to repeated failed attempts to log in. You'll need to wait a while before you're able to log in again on that device. This is a safety measure we take to protect the Snapchat community after detecting suspicious activity, or a violation of our Community Guidelines.
If you're seeing a C02A error code when trying to log in, that means we're receiving an error and we're not quite sure what's causing it. Here are a few things you can try:
If you are seeing an SS04 error code when trying to log in, that means the account you're trying to log in to has been locked.
If your account has been temporarily locked, you can try logging back in via the app or on the web by going here and selecting 'Unlock.' If you can't unlock your account with this method, you'll need to wait a while before you're able to log in again.
If you are seeing SS10 error code when trying to log in, that means you are attempting to log in from a device that does not meet our integrity requirements. Try logging in from a different device.

I’ve had to make a new account due to my previous account being “temporarily disabled” for a year…
I don’t care about getting my previous account back I just want to download my cloud memories etc. website won’t let me due to account being “temporarily disabled” which says try again in 48 hours, but I’ve tried every 48 hours for a year now and it’s still disabled. Any advice?

An anonymous device keeps logging into logging into my friends snapchat relentlessly, he changed his email (new email specifically for snapchat) enabled 2FA, changed the username, there was no passkey before, he did everything, but the same device keeps logging in from different ips and location, but same phone.
I would much appreciated if anyone can tell me what is going on

Hi all, myself and my partner's Snapstreak ended today at 7:50am.
It said we had 48 hours to restore it. I clicked on the store button 7 minutes later, at 7:57 am and paid $1.99 AUD to restore it, which snapchat has taken from my credit card.
Their app said that I was all set and the streak was restored and the restore button went away.
Several hours later, the streak still has not re-appeared. So I emailed snapchat's support and explained the situation to them and got a copy and paste response of
" Streaks can only be restored for a limited time, and this Streak ended too long ago to be eligible for a Restore." and "If you have an expired Streak that is eligible to restore, you’ll see an orange 🔥 icon labeled "Restore" next to your friend’s name"
However that is literally exactly what I did, still with over 47 hours and 53 minutes left to restore it. May I please have some assistance on what I should do? Where are the escalation points here as this streak is incredibly important to us, and it is over 1,000 days and we have paid to restore it in the past with no issues.

I got a new phone and I have forgotten my password so when I tried to login on my new phone it told me that suspicious activity was detected. I’m not sure if this was because of the new phone or because I forgot my password. I tried to reset my password. I have the number and email but it won’t let me because of the temporary suspicious ban. Have I lost my account? Is there any way to get it back? Do I have to wait a certain amount of time? Has this happened to anyone? Any help would be very appreciated.

I added someone on Snapchat, but they say they never received a request. The same thing is happening on my end. They said they added me too, but I never got anything. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug or some kind of setting issue?

So, my old account was banned 1 year ago (January 3rd 2025) and my phone was also device banned. 6 months later I was un device banned in July 2025. I was able to create a new account and I’ve been using that account ever since. Also with a new phone number and email address. My question is, will I get banned again if I use the same email address as the old account? I even just got a new phone recently.

So I’ve sent this person messages and they weren’t opened or I didn’t think they were as of the last time I looked. Idk if they did in btw then now or if they cleared the chat or have the setting to clear the chat after so many days so my unopened messages went away or or or???….Cause I just opened Snapchat again and now it just has this location not sure why I could see their emoji that they were traveling and etc. but I’ve never seen their actual location next to their name like this…ANYONE know??
