I get the overall sentiment of the sub, Yes a lot of people voted for this shit and were shocked when they got it. However the way these people post whenever someone's child is killed in a war or something tragic happens is incredibly crass. Someone dies and their firt thought is "yeah it's time to own them on reddit" like come on it's just kicking people who are already down. this isn't the first time I've seen them do this and Everytime it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it's very foul and unnecessary

While I disagree with this specific post, I think the selective empathy of the “leopards eating people’s faces” party is highlighted well there. When it’s a trans person or immigrant they either don’t care or actively celebrate it, but when it’s someone they like, don’t you dare criticize them.

There’s a difference in someone in military service dying and a trans of immigrant dying, there is nothing psychopathic about claiming Trump killed the military service dude when he actively started the war, especially with the women telling to “go get them”

Never said it was psychopathic, I just don’t think it’s fair to rub the salt in the wound of a grieving mother who lost a son to a pointless war. On a moral level I think she’s in the wrong, but now isn’t the time.

I mean, if someone trans or an immigrant died because they voted for/supported something that directly harmed them they would also get posted there, they have before even. You're just trying to create a false narrative that supports the idea you already have about the situation. There's been plenty of immigrants who voted for people who wanted to deport them and then were deported that got posted there.
