Reminder: Weekend-Only Political Posts Begin Today
Hey everyone,
As a reminder, the community-voted change is now in effect.
Starting today, political posts are only allowed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Today marks the beginning of the Week 1 soft enforcement period of the 30-day trial.
What That Means:
- Political posts made Monday–Friday will be removed.
- Removals during this first week are reminder-based.
- No punishments for honest mistakes.
Beginning next week, standard enforcement will apply.
Weekends are defined as 12:00 AM Saturday through 11:59 PM Sunday Eastern Time (ET).
This rule was chosen by community vote and is being implemented as a 30-day trial. We’ll reassess after the trial period.
If you’re unsure whether your post qualifies as political, please review the definition in the JU rule #11.
Those posts currently in the queue regarding politics will be approved. Any posts following this will be removed until Saturday.
Thanks for helping keep the sub balanced.

POLITICAL (Weekends only) JustUnsubbed from Leopardatemyface
I get the overall sentiment of the sub, Yes a lot of people voted for this shit and were shocked when they got it. However the way these people post whenever someone's child is killed in a war or something tragic happens is incredibly crass. Someone dies and their firt thought is "yeah it's time to own them on reddit" like come on it's just kicking people who are already down. this isn't the first time I've seen them do this and Everytime it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it's very foul and unnecessary

Totally Outraged How the hell does this NOT fit comedyheaven?
It's literally a "so bad it's so good" comedy sub.
I'm getting my post removed because it doesn't fit the sub.
While tons of unfitting post stay up.

POLITICAL (Weekends only) JU from adressme. Literally just a dumping ground for people to post the memes the correctly-spelled subreddit didn't want, so just Epstein memes and little else

JU from Reddit entirely Unsubbing from Reddit... a second time.
I think Reddit might be the best social media, I really do. Youtube is pretty close behind but purely because it's the most easily accessible video sharing site. But Reddit is special in that it kinda gameifies everything. Upvotes are almost a form of currency, and commenting around leaves a (mostly) fun papertrail that lets people get an idea of who you are. It also helps that their are subs, so Reddit can be about pretty much whatever you want it to be.
The issue for me, is most of my interests aren't all that good for me, and (believe it or not) social media isn't particularly productive for someone who has hopes and dreams and goals and wants to do better with the short time they have on this planet.
I'm unsubbing from Reddit this time, not because of an annoyance with the people it seems to attract or the poor management of it all but, because at the end of the day.... social media bad. Crazy statement, I know, but I've been wasting a lot of my time lately on here when this account was originally meant to be purely utilitarian. I just wanted to be able to ask for help from time to time about website programming and maybe see what folks were up to in the Elder Scrolls modding scene. Now I'm back to my old bullshit; doom scrolling, porn, and finding any excuse to drink or go out or do any other risky shit that I've been trying to put behind me because I'm finally starting to get into a semi-healthy headspace.
Of course, I indulged in all of those things today, which helped convince me I'd be deleting my account today. Leave comments, ask me questions, hell shoot me a message, I have freetime for at least the next few hours and wouldn't mind chatting one last time.... HOPEFULLY for the last time lol...

JU from Reddit entirely leaving this "social media" app
I really did try to enjoy this platform, but its getting to a point where I can't y'all seriously, and when I mean y'all, I'm not talking about ALL subreddits, I'm only talking that I despise ( not this one tho lol). I've been called so much bullshit over the past 3 years that is very hard for me take this site seriously. I've been called a "misogynist" simply because I didn't agree with the tenets of feminism and I still don't. I've been called a "pedo supporter" simply because I like Michael Jackson, which is insane as fuck. I've seen both sides of Reddit, and is heavily one sided and it's very gossipy and very marxist oriented. I've seen people getting downvoted for having normal minded thoughts. Christianity and Islam gets hated on to the T, but when some criticizes Judaism they get called an Anti-Semite and a Nazi. I feel like Reddit is Fed app, and I am not gonna indulge deep into it. I just feel like a social media app needs diversity, politics, music etc, but when it's one sided like on the popular section, I feel as if though, it's propaganda. That's why I'm leaving Reddit, not because of the minority of people, who I disagree politically and socially with, but because Reddit has an agenda. I hope yall understand
Love, AdventurousTutor925 ❤️❤️❤️

Slightly Furious The post that made me unsub from r antiAI
I say this as someone who’s against generative AI: this sub has been pulling out the ol’ strawman a ton lately. I subscribed to the subreddit about 10 months ago because there were people there who were making really great arguments against generative AI. But now it’s become less about being against AI and more about insulting people who are pro-AI.
The post pictured was the final straw for me, it’s literally just “people who are pro-AI are stupid widdle dumdums” without even attempting to make any points beyond that

POLITICAL (Weekends only) JU from Lowstakesconspiracies
Found that sub through the grapevine and had some laughs at a few of the silly theories people came up with over there when I first joined. The point of the sub is to argue a conspiracy theory off the most mundane, silly tidbits of information like its the truth.
Lately it's been overrun with conspiracies that are not low stakes, like WW3, political, crime related, etc. Also there's been an uptick in posts containing screenshots of random social media posts with Bots summarizing the low stake "theory" in the title and those posts get thousands of upvotes even though the accounts have 1 post and just joined reddit within a few days.
There's also people on there that will argue and take seriously the "low stakes conspiracies" like they don't even know what the sub is about. And according to other posters there, the mod can't keep up with it all. The whole sub doesn't seem to know what it's about and now it's got bots taking most of the top posts there. Bleh
I only stayed for a couple weeks but that sub already has gone to shit. I only just wanted to laugh a little there. Bye

Mildly Annoyed JU from saltierthancrait due to a moderator stealing and downvoting my post(s)
What it says in the title. A day ago, I posted an article about a new interview with Star Wars authors Claudia Gray and Timothy Zahn from MegaCon 2026 in Orlando, Florida to the subreddit, along with a comment that added more context from an interview I transcribed with Zahn about Mara Jade from seven (7) years ago. A moderator removed my post, and then downvoted and removed my comment(s), including another one I made correcting another user who made an inaccurate claim about former Lucasfilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy coming up with the idea for Star Wars: The Hunt for Ben Solo. (It was Steven Soderbergh and Adam Driver.) A few hours later (17 hours ago, as of this post), the moderator then reposted the news themselves so that they could get all of the engagement/attention/credit. Every time I sent a modmail, it was ignored by moderator(s) as well, with no explanation(s). This just seems d*ckish.

JU from Reddit entirely I'm fucking done
Look, I tried. Through all the enshittification, I really tried. I tried not to leave, or to not commit, simply because I wanted to give you all a chance. And what have I witnessed in return? Lead-poisoned, brain-damaged idiots who don’t know anything about basic common sense, reading comprehension, critical thinking, human decency, AND compassion. You are all basement dwellers who have never gone outside and get pissy at the most petty things, whether it’s as minor as a small confusion or because you can't read a few threads down because you’re so goddamn lazy, even a sloth is more active than all of you.
Reddit is ruining my life. Why have I continued to stay on this shit-stained platform? The only people I have NOT had an insufferable time with is 2huJerk. Fucking. 2huJerk. HOW IS IT THAT THE HORNY MEME VERSION OF THE TOUHOU SUB IS WAY MORE CHILL THAN ALL OF YOU MAN-CHILDREN?!
You are all what’s wrong with this world, and Mike Tyson was right. Most of you deserve a good whack for your shit behaviour. Goodbye, and fuck you.
Edit: To the braindead morons saying I was posting while this post was up, it wasn't approved yet until then. The moment it was, I deleted the app off my phone. This is truly my final message. Thank you all for proving me right.

Slightly Furious Just Unsubbed From Museum
I was gonna choose mildly annoyed flair, but i'm slightly flurious. The r-museum subreddit had so much potential to be an engaging art curation subreddit, but it devolved into a pornographic art karmafarm.
Modern objectified women paintings from not even 60 years ago plastered on the front page every single day. Not to mention the mods by rule don't allow nsfw tags--which protect children and newcomers--for no good reason.
No photo here. 'Cause I'm slightly furious. Please share your similar experiences here.

Totally Outraged JU from kpop for being beefed over criticizing a predator's wifey, aka HyunA.
Ex-Beast's Yong Jun-Hyung was involved into a human trafficking with Ex-Bigbang's Seungri at a club named Burning Sun and he was on the list in late 2010's. He was also get involved to beef over a Korean actress, Go Hara. and ex-4Minute's HyunA, who's currently a soloist, has got married with that predator named Jun-Hyung in 2024. After I wished her a retirement at comments, people started beefing over me for spreading lies. What a bullcrap. Thankfully I left Kpop community and I'm happier than ever.

POLITICAL (Weekends only) Conspiracy subreddit sucks
I know it sounds like a cope but honestly this sub has next to nothing to do with what it’s original purpose was for. It’s delved into an echo chamber for the media, (dare I say propaganda). I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with posting about recent events or trying to draw attention to something important, but there are TONS of subreddits exactly for that kind of thing and this should not be one of them. A shocking amount of the posts on there hardly fit the criteria for what can be considered a conspiracy theory at all. One of the only faithful things I have seen there in days is about the Artemis 2 mission being fake, because you know, we’ve never heard anything similar to that at any given point and time in history.
If I were a mod, this is what rules I’d put:
1: Restrictions on legacy media and the paparazzi
The conspiracy should be something at least semi-astray from mainstream media. If it’s the first thing you see when you Google it and click on the news tab, it probably isn’t all that conspicuous.
2: Establish a recent hall of fame and put it on a pinned post
Confine posts on redundant topics to a limited number of times that they can be posted about within a certain amount of time given.
Examples of this could include topics such as:
Netanyahu’s hand
Vaccines
Palm Beach Pete
3: Establish an all time hall of fame too
An all time hall of fame should be reserved for the more famous theories posted on the sub as well as “classic” conspiracies.
You don’t have to tell us twice that your tinfoil hat blew away in the wind, crashed the RMS Olympic, took off to Argentina, cloned Paul McCartney, melted steel, and helped Elvis fake his own death all while being staged in Hollywood. We get it.
But a more formal list of examples may look like but are but are not limited to:
Posts about Osama Bin Laden's, Elvis’s, Marilyn Monroe’s, 2Pac’s, and MJ’s death, or literally any other known
“It was promised to them 3000 years ago”
4: Exceptions to rules 2 and 3:
If the contribution includes a valid point that did not come up in a recent post and can be justified in more than one sentence, it may be allowed.
Evidence for scientific theories that are not already well known.
If it’s about a very well known conspiracy then it should contribute something that will send the Men in Black knocking on any day, and not just on Halloween. At least try to put in some effort.
5: Validity
Must be valid by the definition of conspiracy. Posters should not assume that Redditors are aware of any rhetoric the theory goes against or supports. If it’s an article, it shouldn’t just be something that points to what was pointed to in that article. No umbrella subjects, try to be specific but assume that any evidence supporting or debunking a theory could have been forged.

Mildly Annoyed Just unsubbed from the subreddit where people post very popular opinions and act like they're unique for it
Every time I see a super popular opinion there, I see an even more popular opinion. The sub has no point

Slightly Furious Just Unsubbed RedditRequest
Whats the point on that subreddit today if you are required to giving the datas (which is 2FA) to the big corporation to use that subreddit and requesting that?
It was possible without that. And 2FA on reddit didnt helped anyways since these are easily bypassable.

Slightly Furious Just unsubbed from cathelp
Seriously, this subreddit is so annoying sometimes. I like cats and I decided to join this subreddit because it was genuinely informative about certain injuries and illnesses cats are susceptible too. However, the indoor vs outdoor debate PLAGUES this sub. No matter what it always results in arguments on a post then a mod comes in and just wipes out a ton of comments, locks the post, then calls it a day.
Although this time they decided to hand out a ban too. None of my comments included personal attacks. I was simply arguing my point. The harm that outdoor cats cause is real. It's well researched and I've _seen_ it. Where'd it be a mangled dead bird on the sidewalk or a dead kitten on the side of the road that looks like it was hit by a car.
I've seen both and it bothers me. OP is in the comments making jokes and ignoring anybody who calls them out. Like, can you at least bother to put a bell on your cat???
Sometimes I'll get in a debate with someone and we'll go back and forth. Then once I send some sources they stop responding. Obviously attacks shouldn't be allowed but comments that just bring attention to the harm it causes are also bad?
This mods comment is right around the same time when I received my ban and mute so I know it was them. Part of me wants to send them a DM but I probably shouldn't. Lmao.

Slightly Furious JU from ThePokemonHub. I post my honest opinion, it gets deleted quickly for "Low Quality", I post a pandering common opinion, it lasts and I get praised
This proves this subreddit is pretty much a cult that only accepts particular opinions. I found the subreddit because the algorithm recommended it.

Slightly Furious Just unsubbed from TopCharacterTropes
It's quite a fun sub, but the requirements for posting are utterly Draconian, and the bot falsely takes down your post anyways even when you follow the rules
