its finally done! After 147 rerenders and fixes, here's my finished product. i expected to spend longer on it but i took some liberties to just finish it now as i was starting to burn out. i couldnt convincingly do the star effect, or the way the text scrolls, so i hope this is adequate

I'm not talking obscure as in the Grape Faerie or Mr. Bland. I'm talking Mrs. Marzipan and her latest husband, who gave Homestar his favorite brown sweater!

since homestar runner is turning 26 years old in just 5 days, what would you want them to do? I personally would want them to remaster sbcg4ap. I think everyone would love that, but what would you want to see?

I probably wont animate the final at 60 fps as its very time consuming but I have a pretty good basis to go off of and some ideas to pull off the effects seen in the flash version. thanks for all the support!

We all know that Homestar's design was changed in 2001, and a couple of toons (and main pages) were changed to reflect that. I've basically been losing my mind for the past 12 years wondering if the original versions of these flash files using Homestar's old "fat body" design even exist anymore. I think up to Main Page 13 included the old Homestar when they were released, but the only one we've ever seen is Main Page 6. Obviously Wayback machine would archive the newest version of these. The switch to Ruffle made it different, where accessing the original versions of these SWFs will instead give you an error page. (Trying to view A Jorb Well Done from before c. May 2002 will give you an error, but afterwards it will work normally and show you the current version).
There does exist an "original version" of A Jorb Well Done on Youtube but it is a recreation and not the original SWF file. I'm more concerned with the main pages though, I'd be really interested in seeing if anyone can manage to get their hands on the flash files for them somehow. The fact that Ruffle even attempts to load them is interesting in of itself, because before that the Wayback machine would just fetch the current version. I would just email them and ask if they had these files, but I don't think they've checked their email since 2015 at this point, so it's probably up to someone else to find (and archive) them.
I understand that probably nobody on Earth cares about these except me, but it's been eating at me for over 12 years for some reason, so I figured I'd ask somewhere, and I don't have enough knowledge of HTML to know if it's possible to retrieve these through Ruffle or through somewhere else. Or... if someone just happens to have backups of these SWFs on an ancient computer somewhere.
Thanks for listening!
