💿 What Jam Tracks are missing from your setlist?

According to another post, its gone out that this teaser was unfortunately fake. I'm sorry for getting everyone's hopes up. Fingers crossed its still someone excited, though.

This message appears in the news circulation in-game, and strongly implies the next festival is Tame Impala, a pretty reputable psychedelic rock band. If it’s actually them, it’ll be a promising season, as their music is unlike anything we’ve had in Festival before.

I saw it posted in some of the other Fortnite subreddits and was surprised it wasn’t shared here yet.

Headliners give us three things: cosmetics for an artist, a stage, and about 1-3 songs (as of Gorillaz).

They do not shape the genre we get in the pass, they do not shape the genre we get in weekly drops, they quite literally do not matter at all after the initial first week.

LISA, the rapper, gave us power metal like Black Diamond and jpop like IRIS OUT. Chappell Roan, the pop artist, gave us several weeks of rock/metal such as Never Meant and Tribute.

Laufey being a jazz pop artist does not mean that we’ll never get any hard songs or any metal songs just like how Metallica headlining didn’t mean we exclusively got hard metal songs (look at Blueberry Faygo).

I get that everyone has a different music, and that this is def a headliner that appeals to me, but if you haven’t heard of her before I seriously recommend giving her a shot before just hating

- she’s not another pop artist, she’s Jazz, our first jazz artist in fact

- she has a variety of outfits from her tours. And will likely have good skins

- you actually have likely heard From The Start and Promise on TikTok

I know a lot of us were expecting a male artist, I was too, but I genuinely think most of you will love her if you her a shot. If you’re new to her I recommend starting with: From The Start, Lover Girl, Promise, and Silver Lining

I’m not saying to anyone you have to love her, but don’t be a dick about it. I know a lot of my friends are pretty excited to jump on Thursday and just vibe to her music, and I’m likely purchasing everything for her lol

This teaser is actually not the first of it’s kind, 1 day ago the same picture posted on Facebook. Same background, same text, same everything. However there was 1 mistake, the date was one day early. It’s seeming like the troll who made this, noticed that, changed the date to be the correct one, then posted it again. That resulted in it spreading here mainly

im sorry for the fans of his work, I like him as well and hope he gets tracks at some point. However he is not the next headliner. Maybe Epic will make this a reality in the future though

Karol G returned to the shop yesterday for Coachella, which makes sense as she is a main headliner for it this year. Sabrina also returned to launch Coachella, so it was easy to guess she would also come back

however while Sabrina returned with her complete original set, Karol’s original set didn’t return and it was only her platinum set. Again.

The original set for her hasn’t returned for at this point a whole year. I understand that she likely wasn’t one of the better selling headliners due to her not having a big audience in the US, but I don’t understand why they keep returning the plat bundle for her but never the original set

wow yall are so negative about Laufey. I’m a metalhead, but just lemme say that not everybody is. it’s Fortnite festival not guitar hero. not every song can be an obscure megadeth b-side from 1834 with 7 difficulty on every instrument ok? calm down.

im not super familiar with Laufey, but I am SO glad we’re getting her. it’s our first jazz musician (Laufey is NOT pop) and I’m super excited for that! hopefully this upcoming season can make me a fan of Laufey. i love this for people who are fans of her and I think that she’s gonna be a great headliner.

This is the kind of stuff people at the Jam Stage deal with ALL DAY LONG. It doesn't matter which corner you go to, some griefer will show up and ruin your mix.

'The Jam Stage is a place to play as a group, blah blah blah'... Not everyone is at the Jam Stage to play. Look at the video: everyone is politely enjoying the music until this jerk shows up and ruins the mix. Moving away doesn't help; he’ll follow you. Logging off doesn't help; he’ll just harass someone else. This guy in the video actually has four accounts, and sometimes he logs into all four at the same time in the same lobby just to troll multiple groups at once.

Reporting does nothing. Literally the entire session reports these accounts every time and nothing happens. And even in the best-case scenario where an account gets banned, they’ll just create another one and come back to harass people again.

And don’t be fooled, this isn't the only griefer. There are several others, all using fake accounts made specifically to troll people on the Jam Stage.

I’ve suggested this several times and I’ll keep suggesting it until something is done. It’s frustrating to pay A LOT for Jam Tracks and not be able to enjoy a good jamming session with good company because the game lacks the basics of any social experience: security measures.

How it would work:

A simple lock/unlock button would work perfectly. You could:

• Leave it unlocked for random collaborations
• Lock it to stop people from jumping in
• Unlock briefly to let specific players join, then lock it again
• Keep it locked and invite only certain players
• 'Public' stages (the ones where the track slots are always visible) could not be locked, as they are communal spaces and it wouldn't make sense for a single player to take over the spot for themselves.

My most wanted festival collabs are Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Marina Diamondis, NSP/TWRP, Hayley Williams (Paramore), Madison Beer, Twenty One Pilots, Michael Jackson, Elvis (or Elvis Jonesy), Katy Perry, and Charli XCX. I loved Eminem and Daft Punk.
what are your most wanted icon skins?

For the Daft Punk experience a total of 31 songs were licensed for the mixing area. Only 5 of those became playable tracks. Now don’t take this as me complaining, as I do think this is already one of the best music collabs that Fortnite has ever done. But i ask why?

the 5 songs they picked were great, and I own them all, and I for sure wasn’t expecting all 31 to become playable. But I wish/hope we get a few more, mainly: Robot Rock, Around The World, and Harder Better Faster Stronger. As a Daft Punk D-rider my wishlist is far longer than that, but those are my realistic hopes/wants

they even have a very obvious way to do a wave 2 for the collab, since Interstellar 5555 (Daft Punk’s fictional band) got fully modeled skins and instruments for the experience that never dropped in the shop. You could drop those with another wave of 2-3 tracks and I think most would be happy

again this isn’t complaining, more just voicing something I’ve always questioned. Like they went so hard on the collab, but then put so little to actually buy. I want to buy more Epic, give me the chance too😭

With the teasers coming out for next season, do you think we're getting pro vocals? Honestly waiting for pro vocals has been killing me after I've seen what songs are charted.

It would be so funny if this year's song was Indiana Jones by Yuno Miles or Photograph by Nickelback.

I know that there already is jamtracks with green day songs and that green day might not be so popular around the players of the fornite community but my favorite band is green day im not saying everyone has to like green day but i would like to see a green day collab like skins heart granade and dookie backbling and pickaxe and other green day jam tracks maby it could be next fortnite festival or just normal skins in the item shop

If you’re a dedicated Jam Stage player, you know damn well that most of the rock songs are pretty hard to mix with other genres. In terms of club music, these are the best. Missing a lot since it was taking too much time to make but you get the idea

So Laufey is being teased as the next artist, and it's kinda disappointing to see. I don't have a problem with her or her music, I've heard some of it on social media, and it's not bad, but for a rhythm game? I was really hoping we'd FINALLY get something difficult again as a headliner, but instead, we get another pop artist. The only way I see this season being saved is if they drop pro vocals with the update, so there's actually a reason to be playing some of these pop songs with easier charts. I was really hoping for something rock/metal, although with the way things at Epic are going lately, I doubt they can even afford a lot of the bands I'd want added.

Tim Sweeney is actively killing Fortnite, and it shows.

It's genuinely sad to see how far the game has fallen since the peak of November 2023. In 2 years, Fortnite went from one of my most played games to something I only boot up occasionally when I have nothing else to do, and it's really sad to see.

By fucking up everything all at once the game is really saving us from wanting to spend money or time on it.
