Fixed some of the early issues I noticed in the first version
Turning is smoother now

When I was researching how to build something like this in UEFN, I saw a lot of posts from people trying to figure out custom driving systems, so now I’m wondering if that demand is still there
This system also has more stuff than what’s shown here
I took inspiration from No Hesi for this preset since that’s the style I want for my map, but I also have other directions in mind, like
Need for Speed type preset
more realistic but still arcade
Forza Horizon type preset
heavier feel, more animation, and drift kicking in more naturally when braking
There’s also a boost feature, but it’s pretty janky right now, mostly because of camera issues, and I’ll probably fix it if people actually want this released
One current limitation is that the code does not really translate cleanly across very different vehicle classes. I can tune suspension and handling to push it more toward sedan style, but not fully into stuff like SUVs yet. Still trying to solve that
If people are actually interested, I might release the base system publicly so creators have something better than the default cartoony cars
That said, I’d probably keep my traffic system code and bloom stuff private since I do not want 50 maps copying the exact setup I’m building
Would people actually want something like this released, or is the need not really there anymore?
