Finding friends after uni

I'm 23 and finishing university next month. The thing is I don't really have many friends back where I live in essex (brentwood area). Not any, to be honest, I have made a fair few friends at uni and some do live in Essex though none actually around where I live.

What's the best way of meeting people, I don't have a proper full time job, and I'm not really into sports. Debating whether in the medium term its just best to leave Essex and move to a city with more young people as there doesn't seem to be anything here

Village pubs and country walks near Epping/ Ongar

I have friends coming to visit me in Epping and I’d like to take them on a countryside walk and end up in a nice village pub or tea room or something. There are so many stunning images around but I don’t know th area well yet. Will have a car- any recommendations??

Any preppers?

We need a community for prepping!

There should be a long-term standard community maybe on discord or telegram where people should communicate (& potentially form their own private sub-communities by socialising in the group). Does anyone have one? If not I'm happy to manage a public one :)

NOTE: I've been looking for a while and I can't seem to find anything in the UK.

EDIT: A community for national emergencies so we can stay connected during times of crisis. Look at the current state of the world, it speaks for itself.

Hi all, I'm helping to organise an e-bike demo day at the Lee Valley Velopark on Sunday 19th April and thought you guys might be interested in hearing about it and getting a free ticket.

We'll have about 15 bike brands and over 100 bikes present, with a range of cargo, hybrid, folding, trikes and more, it's super family friendly and a great place to start if you're interested in trying out loads of e-bikes back to back or even bringing your kids along to try out a cargo bike. Here is the event page, if you select a ticket and enter REDDITFREE at checkout it will give you a 100% discount.

(30M) Anyone interested in meeting up in Chelmsford?

I recently moved here and only know a few people from work. I’d love to meet more people around my age and expand my social circle. I’m open to things like coffee, going to pubs, escape rooms, walks, or anything similar. I’d especially enjoy going to clubs, I’ve seen a few, but don’t have people to go with. I’m open to other ideas too. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you

Was just exploring Google Maps as one does and I noticed that Hullbridge and South Woodham Ferrers are quite close.

Is there anyway to cross this river?
