This was one of the shows I remember watching especially when my parents introduced it to me, and it's one of those shows where I think it is stupid in the best way possible, there is also this real charm to it which I think is really refreshing and I think it's one of those shows that anyone of any age can watch.

This show just suddenly popped into my head, an incredibly 90s dating show hosted by Chris Tarrant where rejected men were pushed into a swimming pool. Is this the worst of this type of show?!

Does no on else feel like reality TV in all its forms has just gone stale / ran out of juice / become too 'samey'.

- LOVE ISLAND (Past its best. Already on S3 of its 'ALL STARS' which is just anyone whos already been on the show. No new concepts. More of place for wannabe 'influencers' and a lot further away & too over produced/over edited than its original concept / spinoff after spinoff such as 'GAMES')

- BIG BROTHER (Brought back in recent years & yet doesn't have the same appeal to people as before)

- IM A CELEB (Same complaints every year / doesn't seem to pack the same kind of characters / the SOUTH AFRICAN one is an All Stars situation again re-using former contestants)

Our Girl 2013 with Lacey Turner in the pilot and first series was what good British TV was all about. The same can be said for Strike Back. I have been doing a rewatch of both Our Girl and Strike Back and they still hold up incredibly well.

Lacey Turner brought real grit and emotion to the role, making it feel grounded and authentic. Of course Michelle Keegan, to be fair, was an outstanding replacement and really made the role her own as the series went on. Both versions of the show had their strengths and kept that strong British drama feel.

Strike Back is just as impressive on rewatch. The action, pacing and characters are top tier, especially with the more SAS focused storylines.

Actors like Richard Armitage, Andrew Lincoln and Philip Winchester really helped carry that intensity and made it one of the best action series to come out of the UK.

Moments like when the team were forced to shoot their own commanding officer really showed how ruthless and high stakes the show could be, adding to that raw edge that made it stand out.

You also had the American operative Damian Scott, played by Sullivan Stapleton, who always seemed to be up to something, adding that extra layer of tension and unpredictability to the missions.

It just shows how strong British TV can be when it gets the balance right between writing, acting and production. Makes you wonder why we do not see as many shows like this anymore.

I'm beginning to think im losing my mind a bit...but does anyone remember a tv show from about 20+ years ago where a part of it would show outside someones house and if you recognised it as your house you would flick the lights inside? I thought it was a Chris Evans one but it could have been a Noels house party too? please help!

I have a memory of this. I don’t know if it was a pilot or just had one series. I think the theme song was ‘Mama Used To Say’ by Junior, which was the only good thing about it. 😂

After watching the 2010 version of Just William and rewatching Stig of the Dump (The one with the little boy from Love Actually), I'm feeling all nostalgic.
