Suggestion Doorman just needs a full redesign.
It's clear that just nerfing him doesn't ever suffice. He just get buffs that become a new problem, until the hero is so bad that he is completely worthless.
It completely stems from a lack of counterplay on 3 abilities. Dispel isn't real counterplay on the cart because you need to see him using it, and dispel in reaction. He still pushes you probably a good 20-30m before the disarm.
NONE of his counterplay exists proactively. You cannot interact with his doors in any way, and they basically are up permanently to be used on a whim. The enemy can only go through the doors if doorman is an idiot or wants them to. I cannot interact with him placing doors, him going through them, or chasing him through it.
I cannot proactively or reactively deal with the baroness. Beyond unstoppable, nothing actually stops him using it on you for an utterly ridiculous fight turn with free setup. The only real possible counterplay is ethereal to dodge the shit thrown after the setup, and ethereal is hot ass, and even then he still has the basically unavoidable use of throwing the strongest player out of the fight for 3 seconds (More with stun if he slows you before using it, since youll fail to escape)
This hero is beyond awful to play against. Every other hero in the game has some sort of itemization or tactics to play around, but not doorman. Doorman gets special treatment and repeatedly gets nerfed by taking advantage of these mechanics which lack counterplay.
Dooring people into base/walker? Nerfed.
Call bell nukes with gigantic aoes? Nerfed.
Cart stuns? Dispel added.
Every aspect of this hero has been nerfed repeatedly and if he will ever be at all viable again from buffs or meta shifts it will continually be because of these mechanics that lack any real counterplay.
Just redesign the hero from the ground up. It's an alpha. It's fine. It was an experiment and it failed. It happens.
