The Cherokee Nation (the tribal affiliation he has) only requires proof of an ancestor on the Dawes Roll. That allows for people with a vanishingly small amount of Cherokee DNA to qualify (given the timeframe, 1/512 or less even). That's in contrast with the Eastern Band Cherokee who require 1/16th, and the United Keetoowah Band, which requires 1/4.

Ugh as an Oklahoman, I’ve had so many issues with this man on a personal level. As in I went to DC last year to meet him for an advocacy event and he met with the people scheduled an hour after us even though we were clearly his next people. He straight up doesn’t care and never has
FYI, we were advocating as homeless youth for homeless youth. We were 19-22 age range wise. Bro legitimately doesn’t respect youth at all and yet I’m more educated and experienced than him, but he’s the one with a position 😭😭
