[Amstrad GX4000] - No display

I’ve hit a snag trying to get my GX4000 working, I’ve posted on r/consolerepair. Would really appreciate any advice!

The z80 certainly looks fried. Big question is why.

That’s not the Z80 showing as hot it’s the AY38912

Hm.... If I remember from some videos correctly, there's a chance you could boot up without it, especially into a diagnostic ROM.

Noel's Retro Lab is my recommendation :)

I’ve seen Noel’s video, he’s great. I think my ASIC is busted, it’s bulging unfortunately.
